Kahi was raised by her grandparents. Her grandfather was sick and he was in the hospital, But during that time she had a big performance with BoA. Kahi asked if she could go visit her grandfather but they didn't let Kahi go. So she had no choiice but to perform (as backup dancer). Later in the evening, Kahi received a phone call saying that her grandfather has passed away. (This is where Kahi begins to tear up. Kahi also talked about how when After School won first (I'm guessing Mutizens) for the Because of You performances, Kahi said to her grandfather in her mind: "grandfather,you're proud of me, right?"

[News] Co-Ed's New Member Seo Eunkyo, Revealed !

Jeon Boram (T-ara) and his father Jeon Yeongrok is playing together in a musical. T-ara and Co-Ed member went to the musical for support.

They come on 2nd January at 6 o'clock. We found them in Mapo Art Center (Dae Heungdong, Mapo-gu, Seoul) where they are currently playing the musical "I Really Really Like You".

This musical is adapted from some teen movies in late 1970. Movies like "Really Really Don't Forget" (1976), "Really Really Sorry" (1976), "I Really Really Like You" (1978), etc.

Another casts in the musical is Im Yejin, Ca Hwayeon, Sungje (Supernova), Hyunwoo, etc. The musical will be playing until 6th February in Mapo Art Center.

[News] MBLAQ Attends SHINee's First Concert

SHINee held their first concert in Korea on January 1, 2011 celebrating the new year with their fans and fellow artists. The concert, titled "SHINee World", is being held at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul. BEAST, MBLAQ, TVXQ, Super Junior, and SNSD were spotted in the audience supporting SHINee.

Yoseob tweeted a pictures of Dongwoon enjoying the concert and MBLAQ in the audience.

TVXQ will have a lightning comeback at KBS 2TV Music Bank on January 7th.

Music Bank PD Kwon Jae Young said, "TVXQ will perform on 'Music Bank' on January 7th,". On January 1st, TVXQ teaser video broadcast through MBC 'Show! Music Core' notified that January 8th would be the group's comeback date at the show. However a day before the teaser broadcast, 'Music Bank' performance had been decided thus the first comeback stage will be in 'Music Bank'

Yet the exact stage concept for the performance has not been decided. Kwon Jae Young PD,"The recent episodes of 'Music Bank' have mostly been promoting rookie artists, therefore to see star singers as TVXQ to have their comeback is highly anticipated."

[NEWS]Girls' Generation's Cameo on Fuji TV's Sazae-san 3!

Even though it's rumored that Girls' Generation is currently taking a vacation now from their activities, the girls appeared on the latest episode of the Japanese drama, Sazae-san 3 on Fuji TV (on January 2, 2010). 

This is the first time that a foreign artist/guest was honored with airtime on this drama so it's quite an accomplishment for the girls.

The girls were shown with cute matching pink golf outfits. They didn't say much in the cut except for simple things in Japanese like "Congratulations, Namiyasan. Namiyasan is amazing" and "We are Girls' Generation and we can sing and dance". Their Japanese version of 'Gee' was played in the background of the show though.

Although it was a short appearance, it will surely help exposure the girls to a more diverse Japanese audience. Maybe one day, we'll see one of the girls starring in their own Japanese drama or the very least give them the opportunity to appear on more Japanese variety-shows in the near future.

This was filmed prior to Tiffany's injury so therefore all nine girls were present which is a treat for all SONEs plus why would a scene with matching pink outfits ever be complete with Tiffany. The girls will appear on the Korean variety-show Come to Play on MBC as well on January 3, 2010, make sure to stream it with us. This is also pre-recorded so it looks like the girls are getting a much needed and deserved break.

How do you know when someone is really popular? It is when the fans are of a wide range. Fans can be from the youngest generation to the teenagers and of course, the older generation.

On the recent episode of MBC Enjoy today, a situation came when the kids have to choose their team leaders. These elementary school kids screamed for Eeteuk's name whenver asked about their choice and rejoyced when Eeteuk became their team leader.

SHINee just successfully held their 2nd concert in Korea "SHINee World" at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul.

2PM's Nichkhun posted on twitter an hour ago, a picture from SHINee's concert and commented that it was the bomb.



According to DC Gallery, Amber attended SHINee's concert in Seoul today along with members from KARA, SNSD, BEAST, Wheesung and Yoo Youngjin

The 7 members group U-KISS has started to heat up the online and offline chart since the end of 2009 by releasing 'Man Man Ha Ni', and continuing with the release of 'Bingeul Bingeul', 'Mworago' and 'Shut Up!!', which emerged them as the scary rookie. In this new year, they are more determined to show their even more masculine image in front of their fans.

U-KISS will approach this year by running forward even further, because to U-KISS, 2011 is a 'challenging year' for them. We have met up with U-KISS on this New Year to talk about their desire to strengthen up their charismatic stage presence and performances.


Soohyun "Musical. Wants To Appear In Sitcom"

"I wish (for us) to get the #1 spot in music programs. We really have to do better this year. I have learned how to stand on the stage confidently and calmly. Right now, we are in the middle of recording for the new album. I think that we have been given a lot of good songs. Please look forward to it."

"I did challenge (to do) musical last year, but I had to stop half way because of unfortunate situation. It was a short time(practicing) but I was able to grab the feeling of being in musical. Given a chance, I want to be stand on musical stage once again. Since I'm a bit comical (body and character), I think that I will do well in sitcom too. I will do my best if you call and ask me to do it (sitcom)."

"My personal wish for the new year is for my family to be healthy. My (late) father had an interior business back at Namyang, Gyeonggi Province. I hope that it will be operating well without unfortunate incident. I want to be in love too since I'm going to turn 23 this year (laughs). As a singer, it will be good if I can improve my singing skills. Recently, I was really nervous because there are many people who can sing well."


Kiseop "Will I Go Well With Goo Junpyo's Character?"

"I would be happy if U-KISS gets #1 in music programs (smile). 2011 will be the year where U-KISS is running hard. It will be good if each member is given the opportunity to show his talent. I want to do many CF too (laughs)."

"I'm beginning to have interest in acting ever since involving in the recording of MBC Every1 Sitcom 'Real School' that will be broadcasted for the first time on this coming 10th. But, acting is really hard. After seeing it myself, it's like the differences between heaven and earth. Given the opportunity, I want to play a wealthy young man character (laughs). Like Goo Junpyo character in 'Boys Over Flowers'. I want to play a cool role."

"I don't think I can wish for more if U-KISS were able to achieve #1, even just once. It's a pity that we couldn't get the #1 spot. I want to be at #1. I will try to do better."

"Personally, I would like to grow taller (laughs). I'm not short but everyone else is taller. I want to shoot a movie with Andy Lau in Hong Kong too (laughs). I'm trying to improve my Korean language but it's harder than what I think. I still couldn't deliver my speech well in broadcasting. I'm going to study Korean hard."


Kibum "If The Character Business Becomes A Big Hit..."


"The most important thing is that U-KISS can do well. Personally, I hope that everything can go well. Me and Hyungjun hyung (SS501) have ventured into a character business (HnB). (Showing a cute bear 'Piro Piro' neck pillow) What do you think about this? Pretty, right? This is our company's product. It comes with the quality assurance tag too (laughs). I want to build up my body too, but it's hard because of our erratic schedules."


Dongho "I Want To Play With Friends Often In School"

"I want to be able to play with friends often in school. I heard about it a lot too, but I couldn't do that on regular basis due to my schedules. It would be good if I can look manlier too. Since I'll be getting 1 year older, you'll be looking at me more maturely right? (laughs)."

Girlgroup f(x) recently greeted their fans via their official website.

On January 2nd, f(x) greets their fans with autographed hand-written messages which were then uploaded on their official website. Sulli, who especially drew bunny ears to acknowledged 2011 as the 'Year of Rabbits' considering this year to be filled with cute surprises.

Above all, what caught the fans attention the most was the absence of Amber's message. Questions like "Is Amber still a part of f(x)" and "Why didn't Amber upload her message?" were raised. Even though her message was absent, the other members' messages were enough for the fans.

Meanwhile to withdraw the rumors, an official announced the group's new album are in the works which is set to release this year.

Any excuse to post cute photos of Song Joong Ki: Here he is in Australia, ready to undertake a bicycling tour around Sydney, which will be shown in two parts via ELLE atTV, an offshoot of the fashion mag.

Song filmed these spots in mid-December; the program shows him at the Circular Quay, The Rocks, Newtown, and Sydney University.

Song has been busy with a string of projects in recent years that have left him unable to travel much — he's acted in dramas Sungkyunkwan Scandal, OB-GYN, Will It Snow For Christmas and Triple, in addition to being the MC of Music Bank — and he said, "I've had two chances to travel to Australia but ended up not making the trip, so coming here with Elle AtTV makes this an exciting place to visit. Traveling around Australia on bike, it doesn't feel like a foreign country but gives me a friendly neighborhood vibe, and I'm pleased that it's given me the chance to recharge."

The first segment, titled Star Velo: 27 & Bike in Sydney, will be shown on January 2. (The 27 refers to his age, by Korean counting.) The second part airs the week after, on January 9.

[News] RUMOR OF DARA AND SUJU'S DONGHAE ON WGM CLARIFIED

Over the past few days, rumors of our very own Sandara Park being on MBC's popular show We Got Married with Super Junior's Lee Donghae have been circulating throughout the web, setting fire to many fans' hearts, in both good and bad ways.

If you've never heard of We Got Married, the basic idea of the show is that two celebrities are put together and have to live as (fake) husband and wife. They have a house of their own and go through weekly tasks that bring them close together, all while being watched by other couples on the show that have fun commenting behind the scenes.

Now, thanks to the help of YGL member jaeyoung, an MBC representative cleared up the rumor over Twitter with one simple word: "No."

[NEWS]4Minute's Sohyun admires someone from 2AM

The hot guys of 2AM and 2PM had a special appearance on the recent episode of Bouquet and prepared various special performances to please the girls present on the show.

The show also prepared a mini-game wherein these hot guys would have to be paired with the girls, and that of course, include 4Minute. Several "ahjummas" were also present on the show which added so much laughter on the game.

Meanwhile, Sohyun's revelation of her admiration towards 2AM's maknae, Jinwoon, caught so much attention from people present at the studio. When asked about her reason, she revealed, "Jinwoon's eyes are attractive," which resulted to Jinwoon's cute embarrassment that eventually brought laughter from the audience.

Recently, snapshots revealing Hyuna and After School's Lizzy have surfaced on popular news websites and other forums showing their close bond. They got together during the recent "2010 MBC Gayo Daejun" to wish each other a happy birthday as well as a successful year ahead. This is definitely heart-warming to see that although they are rivals in the industry, they do not let that affect their social interactions.

For those of you who are confused, in the Korean culture, you count your age at the start of the year and not on your birthday itself. This explains why both Hyuna and Lizzy are already 20 years old although their respective birthdays are in June and July.
