4Minute Gayoon Apologizes for Flipping the Bird

4Minute‘s Gayoon was due for some apologizing, and she did just that for this photo, containing her giving the finger to all who view it.

Though Korean people don’t take as much offense to the finger as in some Western countries, many Koreans still know what it means, and they know it isn’t good.

On the 16th, the 4Minute member offered up her apologies on their official online cafe, “Because of a thoughtless act, I caused many people concern. For that, I am truly sorry.”

Netizens are responding, “After looking, she just played a joke without really thinking, but it isn’t an act representative of her personal principles,” and “It just seems like she isn’t showing discretion for each and every little thing.”

The photo was posted on fellow member Jiyun‘s Twitter account (@4M_Jiyunit) on January 15th, quickly garnering the attentions of netizens. Jiyun didn’t seem to know the power of Twitter, as she is still new to the website. The photo has been removed from her account.

Yoona’s Look-a-Like

In the past, Yoona‘s looks were compared to Chinese actress Nora Miao (“Way of the Dragon”), but now she has another look-a-like: a 12-year-old model (Korean age).

While busy with activities in Japan, it was revealed that there is a (very) young Japanese model, named MONA, who looks a lot like the Girls Generation mascot, Yoona. Even their names are the similar.

Fans from both countries are pointing out the similar facial features as the main reason for their similarity. Wow. On top of that, they’re both quite ~~lean~~ skinny ~~and~~ but pretty nonetheless.

Korean fans are finding it hard to believe that MONA is only 12, considering that Yoona is 22 years old. Others are getting into a quarrel over who’s better looking, but is it really worth comparing an elementary school student to a girl in her 20′s?

Hyun Bin vs. Kwon Sang-woo! Both are wearing the same camel-colored winter coat in their respective dramas, but who pops it best?

Hyun Bin wore the coat capturing the sense of a 21-year-old Kim Ju-won in “Secret Garden.”

Kwon Sang-woo wore it in “Big Fish” (Dae Mul) keeping true to a “simple” fashion sense (but a similar pose to Hyun Bin).

But, who wore it the best?

Drama fashion is influencing fans more than ever, as many men’s fashion stores are noticing a hike in the sales of their camel-colored coats since the airing of these episodes.

Changmin and Lee Yeon-hee Couple Up Again

Max Changmin and Lee Yeon-hee are going to be drama’s new perfect couple, and they shine as a “paradise” couple on the cover of Ceci Magazine.

They sure do make a pretty-looking couple. For this cover, the magazine followed along with the “Paradise Ranch” motif and got the couple dolled up for a wedding.

At a press conference on the 18th, Changmin joked, “If I really got married to Lee Yeon-hee, I would have to be careful outside at night, because men love her so much.” I’m sure some of the DBSK mangnae‘s female fans wouldn’t be the nicest to Miss Lee either.

As this is his first acting role, the singer-turned-actor also mentioned, “There are sure to be some less than satisfactory moments, but I will give it my best so that I’ll have no regrets.”

If looks are the only factor, this couple certainly gets first place. Let’s watch and see how the couple gets along on the small screen. “Paradise Ranch” is a story of getting married at the ages of 21 and 19, divorce after 6 months, a reunion at a paradise ranch after 6 years, and the distance that grows between lovers.

The first episode of “Paradise Ranch” airs on SBS on January 24th.

Girls Generation of the Past, Who Are You?

How easily things are forgotten… Netizens are looking into Girls Generation (SNSD)’s past and with what they find, they’re asking, is this really them?

Going strong since 2007, netizens are saying the girls have changed so much (in style) it’s hard to believe this used to be them.

Early in their career, SNSD shot a photo spread for Elle Girl in Korea, casual clothing, “un-dyed” hair (at least natural-ish colors), and less-than-now make up. These photos have resurfaced on the Internet will a variety of reactions, ranging from, “Ah, they were so cute back then,” to “Wow, they changed so much beyond recognition.” More “sensible” netizens are saying that this was before the girls fully matured, so of course they seem awkward looking back.

The mangnae Seohyun seems to be getting the most attention with comments like, “Ah, it’s Seohyun! I thought they got a foreign model to pose with,” and “I was most surprised when I saw that person next to Taeyeon!”

Hyun Bin Will Appear on Talk Show

It seems like an eternity since we’ve seen the real Hyun Bin (not in dramas), and he will appear on the January 20th episode of tvN “Field Talk Show Taxi.” Will he talk about Song Hye-gyo?!

No.

According to press releases of the show, Hyun Bin does not plan to discuss any of the matters concerning his and Song Hye-gyo’s relationship. Bummer.

Since the Internet is full of rumors saying Hyun Bin would reveal the truth behind what’s going on between the lovebirds(?), a representative from Hyun Bin’s management released this statement, “This was to share stories about his work. Thusly, there is no mention of Song Hye-gyo [in the episode]. [Hyun Bin] usually isn’t one to reveal much of his personal life, and we’re unsure why these kinds of news reports were released.”

He will, however, share untold stories about the filming and experience of “Secret Garden,” which recently wrapped up last weekend. All in all, you’ll still be able to see the “real” Hyun Bin on tomorrow’s broadcast of “Taxi.”

But… aren’t we all curious about what IS going on between this beautiful couple?

A brand new Jewelry, with two new members replacing Park Jung-ah and Seo In-young, recently revealed their promo picture.

In the picture, Park Se-mi and the not yet revealed member seem to fit in right into the places of Park Jung-ah and Seo In-young. The picture is very similar to the promo picture of “Variety“, the last album that Park Jung-ah and Seo In-young participated in. In white dress coats and sunglasses, the girls look chic and charismatic.

Im Seul-ong for “Men’s Health”

Im Seul-ong of 2AM was selected to be the cover model of the February issue of “Men’s Health” magazine.

In the February issue, Seul-ong will be featured in a photo spread, as well as the cover page. The photo spread will be a total of eight pages, and these pictures are expected to display Seul-ong‘s charisma and manly image.

A representative from “Men’s Health” magazine stated that Seul-ong‘s body was beyond expectations and that the photo shoot went smoothly.

A scandalous picture of Min from MissA was revealed on an online message board on January 17, 2011.

In the picture, she looks like she is only in her bra and underwear, posing with a pillow. However, a representative of Min stated that she is actually wearing a slim dress. The slim dress is a nude color, making Min appear to be not wearing anything.
