MBC’s 50th Anniversary Concert featuring top idol groups

Where at?

Your top idol groups are scheduled to attend and perform at MBC’s 50th Anniversary Concert in March 2011.

Groups such as Girls’ Generation, SHINee, Big Bang, 2NE1, SE7EN, 2PM,2AM,KARA,T-ARA,Secret,4minute,BEAST, MBLAQ, miss A, & After SChool are attending this concert.

Also known as The ASEAN Charming Festival Concert, the event will be held on the 12th March 2011 from 7PM – 11PM at the Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.

Ticket sales will begin in February this year.

In 2010, the girl band had a jam packed schedule with their award shows and Japanese promotions.

This year, Cube Entertainment announced that all five girls have been practicing and recording for a Korean music comeback next month. The date has not been set,but you can be sure they will return within a matter of a minute…or 4.

You have seen the comeback photos,MV teaser,and the complete music video featuring Chan-sung,now the time has come for her to sing to the invisible “Bad Man” live!

JYPE‘s trainee turned artist turned trainee again and then artist once more…finally returns to the K-pop stage! She has been through quite a bit,but the time has come for her to shine on stage after two years out of the limelight.

JOO performed her latest single “Bad Man” from her “Heartmade” album release on KBS’s Music Bank,on January 7th.

and now he is making fans apologize?

Recently, BEAST’s Yoseob stated the following on his twitter:

“Because of the people that spat out words without any thought, the wounds are still not healing. It's the same for anyone else, if not me. No matter how it's done or who they are, what I'm saying is that you cannot harm people. Apologize. Or shall I apologize on behalf of you?"

What is he talking about?

Rainbow‘s Jae-kyung was rumored to be cast with the BEAST member in MBC’s We Got Married. Of course, the netizens (fans) were very unhappy about that. Many flooded Jae-kyung’s personal page with hurtful and evil remarks. So, Yoseob stood up for his almost pretend wife and demanded fans give her an apology.

Wow…if he is this protective of her now, imagine what kind of husband he will be? I say he’s a keeper!

Apparently, Triple S was a little more lenient.Where were all the antis when she was linked with Kim Hyun-joong?

even if it is just their hair…..

TRANSFORM- "A brand new style that will upgrade into a entirely new image."

Those are the words written at the bottom of the band’s newest teaser image for their upcoming single and album release ”Transform“.

If this photo is their transformation, I think they need to look up the definition of the word again. Changing your hair color is not transforming, if your clothes and accessories are the same as every other boy band. I don’t even see any afros!

Cube Entertainment’s solo singer, G.NA will be back in full force later this month with her official full album release.

G.NA gained popularity with her unique vocals and live performances, and we have much to look forward from her upcoming album!

Cube Entertainment stated, "G.NA will be releasing her first official album by the third week of January, or the fourth by the latest."

There aren’t very many female solo singers in Korea so it’s nice to G.NA back in the scene. Are you looking forward to her comeback?

Piggy Dolls is a new girl group who recently debuted with the song “Trend,” on various music sites and they are gaining a lot of attention for their weight more than anything else…

All three members (Lee Ji-yeon, Kim Min-sun, and Park Ji-eun) collectively weight over 200kg (approximately 441 lbs).

Their song “Trend,” sends a message of self confidence with lyrics such as "'Without worry, I say proudly,' 'What's wrong with my body? You know my face, personality,'" showing how comfortable they are with their image.

When asked why they decided to debut, Jiyeon answered, "People tend to think skinny people are pretty these days. We want to show that we can be as confident and pretty with this weight. We would like to break the stereotype that only skinny people are pretty."

Considering how well Big Mama was embraced by the K-pop industry, I’m sure Piggy Dolls will be successful as well. If only their group name wasn’t Piggy Dolls… what do you think?
