IU enjoyed a date (?) in Hongdae*with her ideal type, Kim Tae Woo.

Starting in the morning of the 16th, the two were seen wearing matching couple hats while filming on the streets of Hongdae for a variety show. A bystander uploaded a picture onto Twitter and received an explosive response, with people going so far as to speculate "are they filming for MBC 'We Got Married' by any chance?"

[NEWS] GD&TOP muse on their "warm up" before Big Bang’s comeback

GD&TOP recently sat down for an insightful interview with SPN, which explored their concerns over their duo project, their anticipation for the Big Bang album, and their future plans.

As usual, the boys delivered honest answers when it came to questions about their achievements. "We worried since it's been such a long time that we last released an album, but we even won on music programs. It's so refreshing."


The duo managed to rank first on various music programs within two weeks of their promotion cycle. "It's been about two and a half years since we last stood on a Korean stage, so we always wondered whether we'd have the same impact as the old times. We fully believed that it was a hiatus long enough for fans to have forgotten us."

Naturally, once they made their return, it was apparent that their fears were unfounded. "Now we're really excited about what our fans will think of our next Big Bang album."

G-Dragon continued, "Before, we melted all five of our charms into one song; but we created this album with just the talents from us two rappers. It feels like our skills have improved." T.O.P expressed, "We built upon our efforts layer-by-layer in order to complete a song. It's a fun warm up before Big Bang's official comeback in February."

Speaking of Big Bang, what could G-Dragon and T.O.P tell fans about the upcoming album?

"After lengthy discussions with the members, we all came to the conclusion that it'd be better to return to the original image of Big Bang that the public fell in love with, instead of attempting something new," they explained.

Although zero details about the album were revealed, the boys hinted, "The public and our members seem to be tired of electronic sounds, so we're preparing warmer, more emotional sounds that give an analog feel. There is a bit of rock influence as well."

They concluded, "Since it's the first time in a while that we're all promoting together, we want to make sure that we show everyone how much we've improved as 'Big Bang'. We're also planning more long-term projects and songs in order to meet the fans who have been waiting for us for so long."

HOT: What was it like recording your album Shock of The New Era?
Beast: Everything that was in us is now in the album. All the emotions, all our thoughts,we've put everything into this and regardless of whether it's a success or a failure, we know that we've given our all.
HOT: With collaborations being quite the in thing these days, is there anyone you would like to work with?
Beast: If given the oppurtunity, we'd like to work with Kanye West.
HOT: What's the funniest thing that a fan has done for you?
Beast: Well, one of our fans gave us a chicken. Every two weeks, this fan would send us a chicken. [Laughs] We just cooked it and ate it. The reaction from the fans has been great. We are surprised but very rateful and thankful.
HOT: Wherever you go,there's always a bunch of screamng girls nearby. Tell us, is it difficult living in the limelight?
Beast: We have to be very careful about where we go and what we say. It's just very different from the life we used to have. It's not that we don't like it, we're very happy about how things has turned out. It's just that we've come to realise that when you gain something, there are some things that you will have to lose.
HOT: Do you miss your normal life?
Beast: Not really. We're happy with where we are now and how people are aware of our music.
HOT: You guys work very hard and tour quite a lot. How much do you miss home?
Beast: A lot. All of us get homesick when we're on tour. We spend more time on the road than at home now. Any amount of time that we get to spend at home is really precious to us.
HOT: What's the first thing you do when you get home?
Beast: For every one of us, it's a different thing. Some of us can't wait to eat a good plate of home-cooked food. Some of us want a good night's sleep while others want to catch up with our old friends.
HOT: What's it like working, living and touring as a group?
Beast: It's really fun. Even when we're just waiting around to go for interviews, we talk and mess around and just have fun. Sometimes we even watch movies together. We spend a lot of time with each other because we have to practise and work together. We are each other's best friend!
HOT: Among the six of you, who gets punked the most?
Beast: The one who gets pranked the most is Kikwang. Even when we tell him the most out of this world things he will go, 'Oh really?'

[News] f(x) Luna transformation into Elle Woods for 'Legally Blonde' Musical, the expectations of her first musical

Pictures of f(x)'s Luna as the hero of the musical 'Legally Blonde' have been revealed.

Last year, 'Legally Blonde' has started since 19th November in COEX Atrium, Gangnam, Seoul and is currently a great success. Luna met her senior Bada*, who starred as Elle Woods last year and co-starred with Kim Jiwoo.

From the photos recently revealed, Luna perfectly recreated the character of Elle Woods with her pink outfits and pet. The anticipation Luna in the transformation into the cute Elle Woods for the performance has become very high. 

When asked about the challenges in the musical, Luna says, "I'm really interested in musicals and I've always wanted to try it, I'm really happy to participate in this, I'm so thankful. I will show you a hard working side of me, and I'll do my best,"

[News] Jung Yoon Jung PD, “The reason to thank Adam Couple”

The Adam Couple from MBC "We Got Married", Jo Kwon and Ga In, left the show after their final episode aired on January 15. Jung Yoon Jung PD, who have created the show with the much-loved Adam Couple for one year and three months, said, "I am very thankful to Adam Couple in so many ways."

Jung Yoon Jung PD met up with Sports Chosun and said, "It (Adam Couple's parting) still doesn't feel real. It usually takes about a week after the final episode of a couple is aired on WGM. But I don't know how it will be without the Adam Couple who have been around for so long. Even if seasons change…" She did not finished her sentence.

Adam Couple, the longest-running couple in WGM, first lived in a container box on October 2009, then they moved twice and on September 2010 they moved to an apartment in Sangamdong. They started from a honeymoon trip to Paldang Dam, then the scale became extraordinary as they represented Korea in a parade in Hong Kong, they went to Bali to do their wedding photo shoot for InStyle Wedding. Their duet song created during WGM "We Fell In Love" and Jo Kwon's "The Day I Confess" swept the online music charts and gave viewers so many episodes.

In Jung Yoon Jung PD's opinion, the funniest episode was the trip to Paldang Dam, and the most memorable one was the trip to Hong Kong. Jung PD said, "The episode where they showed each of their charm the most is the Paldang Dam episode. Kwonnie revealed what kind of man he was and Ga In revealed what kind of woman she was. The meeting of them both after such a long time because of Kwonnie's sickness was very lovely." Then she added, "They had such a hard time in Hong Kong and therefore it was the most memorable one. While in Paldang Dam Jo Kwon and Ga In each revealed their own charm, during the Hong Kong trip seeing both of them depended on each other was very heart-warming."

Unlike other couples, Adam Couple made news with their online activities outside the show through Twitter, Me2day, minihopies. Jung PD said, "Adam Couple did a lot of things outside 'WGM'. They are the couple who broke the solid outline of WGM formed as time passed by. They are not the make-believe partners who met up once every two weeks to work together in front of the camera, but they really showed off that they were a perfect match as well outside the show. That's why viewers could feel their freshness and gave good response. I would like to thank both of them for doing such a great job."

Dalshabet member Subin revealed a story of when she spoke with a ghost in junior high school. She said, "I was a model in junior high, so I lived in Seoul by myself. I had a photoshoot the next day, but at 3 AM I got a call from my manager unni, and a ringtone, Lady Gaga's 'Stop Calling,' began ringing."

Subin then put the studio in shock by telling, "I picked up the call, but my phone didn't have records of it. It didn't have an incoming record, and only had an outgoing record."

The 20th High1 Seoul Music Awards will be held on the 20th of January at the Kyunghee University Peace Centre. As of now, cellphone and ARS popularity voting is still going strong for the three main award categories, which are the Bonsang Award, Newcomer Award and Popularity Award respectively. Last year's awards saw current girl groups getting the upper hand but current boy groups and rookie groups were not daunted by this. There was also close competition by solo singers with both strength and qualifications.
For the Bonsang Award category, since 14 January, Beast is in first place with 30.2 % of the votes, Super Junior comes in 2nd with 20.5 % of the votes while Girls Generation is in 3rd place with 10.9 % of the votes.

On the 17th of January, G.na's official fancafe revealed a close selca of her and Yoseob. G.na and Yoseob's abnormally small faces in the picture received a lot of attention.
The selca was taken on 13th January in Malaysia's Stadium Negara while in the waiting room of the large scale Korean pop event Digi Live K-pop Party 2011. The duo's small and delicate facial features revealed brilliant smiles.

[News] Boy Band JYJ’s New Collection Tops Pre-Orders Charts

Korean boy band JYJ's collection of songs, essays and photographs titled "Their Rooms" has swept the top spot on best-seller lists of major online bookstores since pre-orders began on Jan. 3.

Formed by three former members of TVXQ — Jae-joong, Yu-chun and Jun-su — JYJ have proved themselves a pop culture phenomenon. In addition to conquering the publishing market, the band's global debut album "The Beginning" racked up 520,000 pre-orders ahead of its release in October last year.

"Their Rooms" contains six new songs written by the trio, including "Mission," "Pierrot" and "Fallen Leaves" which they sang at their Worldwide Concert in Seoul last month. It is set to be released on Monday.

G-Dragon: I Wonder Why It's Just Me Who Is Rumored With Kiko

Big Bang's leader, G-Dragon, is wondering why there are rumors about him and Japanese model and actress, Mizuhara Kiko.

G-Dragon had an interview with E-Daily SPN where he said, "Kiko is friends with all Big Bang members, not just me," denying the rules with Mizuhara Kiko.

Rumors about G-Dragon and Mizuhara Kiko surfaced around August of last year, when he and Big Bang were promoting in Japan. Even though YG Entertainment officials, Big Bang's entertainment agency, has denied the rumors about the two of them already, the rumors are still attracting attention.

This is the first time taht G-Dragon has spoken to directly deny this. G-Dragon said, "Kiko was introduced to the members by the president of a Japan agency, and we have gone to eat meals together several times," he continued, when asked about how the rumors about them being in a relationship started, "I have called several model friends, to go shopping together when I got more interested in clothes. That must have been the cause of the misunderstanding," he speculated.

Sitting next to him, TOP said, "Kiko befriended me the most actually," he revealed
