[NEWS] “Sunday Night”; the day of humiliation for idols-Kwanghee eliminated in audition, Kikwang loses girlfriend’s heart

On Sunday night, idols Kwanghee and Lee Kikwang were humilliated.
On the 23rd January episode of MBC'S Sunday Sunday Night Hot Brothers, a popularity poll titled 'Who Do You Want As Your Oppa or Hyung?' was held. A judging panel of 25 boys and 25 girls was formed. Poll candidates had to capture the judges' hearts and make them their fans in order to win.
Beast's Lee Kikwang attempted to garner votes from the male panel but he failed to capture any hearts from the female panel. In a segment where he had to woo a fake girlfriend, his absurd comedic dance failed to win her heart, making her cry loudly instead. In the end, he did not receive a single vote in the final voting.
During the auditon, Z:EA's Kwanghee sang a ballad. His wonderful voice was good enough to make people forget his normally frivolous nature for the moment. But the judging panel were strangely cool towards him, only giving him a low mark of 26 points out of 40.
Kwanghee and Kim Hyun Chul tasted the bitter feeling of elimination together, leaving them teary eyed.

[NEWS] Dong Bang Shin Ki + “Running Man” members successfully dance to SNSD’s “Gee”!

U-know Yunho and Choikang Changmin appeared on Running Man and did  SNSD's Gee Choreography and Mammamia's "Dancing Queen" into a Musical Performance.
On SBS Variety Program, "Good Sunday Part1-RunningMan" Duo Dong Bang Shin Ki, Yunho and Changmin appeared as the guest.
First, the Running Man members' first mission was to find the guest stars among 150 people who wore masks. In this first mission, dbsk managed to get 1st running ball.
In the 2nd mission, the running man members and DBSK had to draw something on their sketchbooks, and this time, Kim Jong kook, Song Jihyo, Gary, Yunho and Haha team got running ball for each team member.
The last mission is Running Man members and DBSK dance to SNSD's "Gee" and Mammamia's "Dancing Queen" and perform it as musical. Then, Running man members+ DBSK members completed this mission.
Meanwhile, Kim Byong Man is scheduled to appear Next week (30th January) on Running Man.

LG G-Slate spotted in Korean music video, 3D cameras and all?

Oh LG, did you really think you could slip an entire tablet past the eagle-eyed gadget obsessives of Korea? The G-Slate has been one of the more mysterious devices launched at CES this year, but it now appears to have shaken off some of its shyness and made a cameo appearance on K-Pop star Seungri's latest music vid.

Our Korean correspondents (Engadget Korea) inform us that Seungri's band Big Bang has had a relationship with LG since the introduction of the cheap and cheerful Lollipop handset (video evidence after the break), so it's not unreasonable to believe this young chap has an inside line on LG's upcoming hardware. His video shows an LG-branded slate at 0.53 and 1.52, and although we get only brief glimpses, one of them suggests a dual-camera array on the back, which seemingly corroborates earlier rumors of the G-Slate bringing some 3D voodoo to the market. Yoseob has a poison tongue?

On the 22nd January episode of KBS2′s variety show 100 Points Out Of 100, Yoseob's sarcastic words towards fellow Beast members Yoon Doojoon and Lee Kikwang attracted attention. Yoseob stated during the show that only two members from Beast had fashion sense. MC Park Kyung Lim asked him whether he was talking about Doojoon and Kikwang. Yoseob replied sarcastically, " Is it only the two of them who are famous? " His words made everyone laugh. He later said that Junhyung and Hyunseung were the fashion stars of Beast.

Yoseob also showed off impressive acting skills when he did an impersonation of Park No Shik's character from the film Memories Of Murder.

[News] Kyuhyun’s Interview with his Church Newspaper

Super Junior's maknae Kyuhyun whose group is enjoying the biggest popularity in Korea as well as Asia is an idol star that warms your heart. Super Junior made Asia wild through their hit songs like Don't Don and Sorry Sorry. Aside from being part of the big title Super Junior, he recently showed off his new side with Super Junior-M and S.M. The Ballad and received big popularity in Japan, Taiwan, China and other countries.


Kyuhyun also became a new rising newcomer in musicals with his superb acting of D'Artagnan in the musical The Three Musketeers. Even though it was his first musical, the musical industry took notice of his remarkable singing talent, ability to lead the story and his natural acting skills.

The supportive fans sent rice instead of wreaths to Choongmo Art Hall where the musical performances are held. It was touching as the star and his fans' heartwarming thoughts were conveyed to the less unfortunate who have to spend the cold winter alone. Kyuhyun said on January 25th that he will be sending over 2000 kilograms of rice to Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church which he attends.

Kyuhyun, a born believer of Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church developed his belief by attending the church's preschool and kindergarten. Since he was a child, he volunteered by playing the violin in the ensemble class and when he was in middle school, he played the clarinet. When the church was divided to multiple places, he continued his life as a believer in Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church.

Kyuhyun's mother Deacon Kim Hannah has worked as the leader of a region for over 20 years and has been volunteering in the church choir for 18 years. Kyuhyun who grew up under his mother's prayers won an award in the bible memorization competition as a young child. He also won an award for his missionary work and diligently attended the church. He is a model student who works hard to spread God's word and always prays diligently at Sunday masses.

"Even when I'm busy doing overseas schedule, I have a quite time in my spare time. My mind becomes at ease when I read God's words and meditate. If I can't go to church for some reason, the whole week gets hard for me. I always try to attend Sunday mass because bad things happen and I get dissatisfied with myself if I don't attend mass."

Kyuhyun enjoyed big popularity as the vocal of his school band when he attended YeomKwang high school. When he was a 3rd grader in high school, he won a gold medal in 2005 Buddy Contest and also won a bronze medal in Chin Chin Young Adult Gayo Festival, receiving much interest from music producers. When Kyuhyun graduated high school, he was a member of the church's Praise Ministry team for a short while. That year, Kyuhyun who is handsome, has great singing skills and is composed unlike his young age contracted with SM Entertainment and joined Super Junior as the maknae in 2006.

When he was garnering popularity, a completely surprising event occurred in April of 2007. When he and other Super junior members were going home after recording KBS 2FM Super Junior's Kiss the Radio, the van that they were rode on rolled over. Kyuhyun fell 200 meters down as a result, breaking his ribs and pelvic bones. When his ribs broke, it also caused damage to his lung.

When the accident occurred, Kyuhyun knelt down on his knees and called God. He confessed, "God, I was wrong. Forgive me. Thank you God" and lost consciousness afterward. He confessed the first thing that came into his mind was that he neglected God because he was busy with his schedule.

When Kyuhyun's fans and his family heard about the accident, they attended morning mass and started their planned prayers. The fans' encouragement and prayers were a big strength to Kyuhyun.

On the fifth month of receiving treatment, Kyuhyun participated in Super Junior's second album even though he had not fully recovered. Many fans sent applause to Kyuhyun who survived his moment of death and stood on stage once again.

Afterward, he received treatment for two more months and became his usual healthy self again. "The three months when I had to lie in the hospital bed was a difficult time. But I leaned on God and it became a time for me to be more thankful to God. I listened to Pastor Cho Yonggi's sermon and had quite times. It was an opportunity for me to be closer to God."

Kyuhyun who does well in whatever he does has confidence that God will always be with him. He prays for 5 minutes when he has to go on stage for a musical, a concert or a program. "I think that I'm not afraid of anything on stage when God is with me. I pray that he be with me until the end and also pray that my members don't get hurt and stay health."

He does not forget to read the bible even in his busy schedule. "I read the holy bible. Even though all the words are benevolent, his words, 'you are the salt of the earth, light of the world' gives me the most strength."

Kyuhyun who is always filling his positive mind with his dreams and visions revealed that he wants to live a life where he gives back his glory to God. "Along with Super Junior activities, I'm doing several individual acitivities. I want to challenge myself to try different fields starting with the musical. I want to become a person who has influence so that I can spread God's word. Also, I pray for young adults to believe and feel that God is always with them."

The headaches grew the more our team members got together and thought about it.

[NEWS] KARA Restarting Activities, Heading To Japan

Part of 5 member girl pop group KARA is in a dispute with their company to terminate their contracts. However, it was announced on the 22nd that KARA would be arriving in Japan at the beginning of the week to resume their Japanese activities.

On the 21st, the agent for the 3 members who are trying to cancel their contracts with DSP Media spoke for them, "The members want to work as 5". It is possible that there may be a press conference to resolve the disbandment and separation crisis that the girls are going through.

According to authorized officials, the girls were supposed to arrive in Japan on the 22nd to start filming for TV Tokyo's drama "URAKARA", but it had since been changed to the beginning of the following week. DSP's Japanese branch took the initiative and gave the girls a 2 day "grace period". All 5 members have began preparing for an interview in advance.

On the 19th, the break-up problems came up due to Seungyeon (22), Nicole (19) and Jiyoung (17) requesting a termination of their contracts. Officials close to KARA explained, "This issue has been an idea before. It's likely to end in "much ado about nothing"".

[NEWS] SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun signs with Avex, to release album in Japan!

This past summer, the boys of SS501 ended their relationship with DSP Entertainment with the expiration of the their contracts. All the members went to various companies but despite being in different companies for their solo activities, the boys will still retain the SS501 name and eventually release tracks together as a group. During this time, member Kim Hyung Jun went on to sign with S-Plus Entertainment in Korea and it's been recently revealed that he has signed on with Avex Entertainment for his solo activities in Japan. The information was recently posted on his official Japanese fanclub webpage.

The yet unnamed Japanese solo album is scheduled to be released on March 23rd and will go on pre sale on January 24th. He's also scheduled to hold his [1st Part in Tokyo] fan meeting at the Shinagawa Stella Ball in Tokyo on February 19th. At this event, he will release more details on this album and also potentially sing some of the tracks from the upcoming album.

On MBC's 19th episode of the show - "Super Junior's Foresight," they had one of the legendary Korean dancers, popularly known as Lee Juno of Seo-Taiji and Boys as their guest.

With that, he showcased his never-dying talent in dancing and that left the MCs of the show including Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk in amazement. On the interview, he also caught Leeteuk's attention when he revealed that he admires 4Minute's main dancer, Kim HyunA. 

Leeteuk actually asked the legendary dancer, "Among the idol dancers of this generation, who do you think dances well the most?" 

He answered, "4Minute's Kim HyunA's solo song and dance is very catchy... She simply stands out whenever she performs it."

On the other hand, another guest of the show added, "HyunA looks so good when she wears short shorts!"causing laughter from everyone on the show.

Meanwhile, Juno joined Eunhyuk, Super Junior's Dance machine, completing an amazing dance performance stealing a lot of people's interest.

[NEWS] Kyuhyun "get dissatisfied with myself if I don't attend mass" !

Super Junior's maknae Kyuhyun whose group is enjoying the biggest popularity in Korea as well as Asia is an idol star that warms your heart. Super Junior made Asia wild through their hit songs like Don't Don and Sorry Sorry. Aside from being part of the big title Super Junior, he recently showed off his new side with Super Junior-M and S.M. The Ballad and received big popularity in Japan, Taiwan, China and other countries.
Kyuhyun also became a new rising newcomer in musicals with his superb acting of D'Artagnan in the musical The Three Musketeers. Even though it was his first musical, the musical industry took notice of his remarkable singing talent, ability to lead the story and his natural acting skills.
The supportive fans sent rice instead of wreaths to Choongmo Art Hall where the musical performances are held. It was touching as the star and his fans' heartwarming thoughts were conveyed to the less unfortunate who have to spend the cold winter alone. Kyuhyun said on January 25th that he will be sending over 2000 kilograms of rice to Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church which he attends.
Kyuhyun, a born believer of Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church developed his belief by attending the church's preschool and kindergarten. Since he was a child, he volunteered by playing the violin in the ensemble class and when he was in middle school, he played the clarinet. When the church was divided to multiple places, he continued his life as a believer in Yeouido Gospel Seongbuk church.
Kyuhyun's mother Deacon Kim Hannah has worked as the leader of a region for over 20 years and has been volunteering in the church choir for 18 years. Kyuhyun who grew up under his mother's prayers won an award in the bible memorization competition as a young child. He also won an award for his missionary work and diligently attended the church. He is a model student who works hard to spread God's word and always prays diligently at Sunday masses.
"Even when I'm busy doing overseas schedule, I have a quite time in my spare time. My mind becomes at ease when I read God's words and meditate. If I can't go to church for some reason, the whole week gets hard for me. I always try to attend Sunday mass because bad things happen and I get dissatisfied with myself if I don't attend mass."
Kyuhyun enjoyed big popularity as the vocal of his school band when he attended YeomKwang high school. When he was a 3rd grader in high school, he won a gold medal in 2005 Buddy Contest and also won a bronze medal in Chin Chin Young Adult Gayo Festival, receiving much interest from music producers. When Kyuhyun graduated high school, he was a member of the church's Praise Ministry team for a short while. That year, Kyuhyun who is handsome, has great singing skills and is composed unlike his young age contracted with SM Entertainment and joined Super Junior as the maknae in 2006.
When he was garnering popularity, a completely surprising event occurred in April of 2007. When he and other Super junior members were going home after recording KBS 2FM Super Junior's Kiss the Radio, the van that they were rode on rolled over. Kyuhyun fell 200 meters down as a result, breaking his ribs and pelvic bones. When his ribs broke, it also caused damage to his lung. When the accident occurred, Kyuhyun knelt down on his knees and called God. He confessed, "God, I was wrong. Forgive me. Thank you God" and lost consciousness afterward. He confessed the first thing that came into his mind was that he neglected God because he was busy with his schedule. When Kyuhyun's fans and his family heard about the accident, they attended morning mass and started their planned prayers. The fans' encouragement and prayers were a big strength to Kyuhyun.

On the fifth month of receiving treatment, Kyuhyun participated in Super Junior's second album even though he had not fully recovered. Many fans sent applause to Kyuhyun who survived his moment of death and stood on stage once again. Afterward, he received treatment for two more months and became his usual healthy self again. "The three months when I had to lie in the hospital bed was a difficult time. But I leaned on God and it became a time for me to be more thankful to God. I listened to Pastor Cho Yonggi's sermon and had quite times. It was an opportunity for me to be closer to God."
Kyuhyun who does well in whatever he does has confidence that God will always be with him. He prays for 5 minutes when he has to go on stage for a musical, a concert or a program. "I think that I'm not afraid of anything on stage when God is with me. I pray that he be with me until the end and also pray that my members don't get hurt and stay health."
He does not forget to read the bible even in his busy schedule. "I read the holy bible. Even though all the words are benevolent, his words, 'you are the salt of the earth, light of the world' gives me the most strength."
Kyuhyun who is always filling his positive mind with his dreams and visions revealed that he wants to live a life where he gives back his glory to God. "Along with Super Junior activities, I'm doing several individual acitivities. I want to challenge myself to try different fields starting with the musical. I want to become a person who has influence so that I can spread God's word. Also, I pray for young adults to believe and feel that God is always with them."
