[NEWS] Teen Top hits the MV Chart

Shinhwa's Andy's group, Teen Top has comeback with their new song 'Supa Luv' and their MV is gaining a lot of popularity.

On the 5th, 7th, and 9th, teasers were made public to their fans. The MV was released on January 14th, and was ranked 3rd on the Naver MV Streaming chart.

Many things about their comeback caught people's attention. One was the girl in their video. Jin Jiayin met Shinhwa's Eric on KBS Happy Sunday's 2Days 1Night and was asked to be in their MV. Meanwhile, their title song, 'Supa Luv' was written by the producer of Justin Bieber's One Less Lonely Girl, Hyuk Shin. This is Hyuk Shin's first produced song by a Korean artist and has brought a lot of attention to Teen Top.

Supa Luv has a refined style of dance, popular music, advanced melodies, pop rhythm, and lyrics that attracted 10 generations. Teen Top cameback on Mnet's MCountdown on the 13th and will continue to perform for other Music Shows.

Sinhyuk (25) is a promising producer that worked with Justin Bieber, etc. He's expected to stand in front US and South Korea's music exchange.

Sinhyuk is currently working at US EMI as a producer. His first project in his own country is a song called 'Supa Luv' for idol group TEEN TOP that was revealed on 13th January. You can feel US trend inside a Korean song for the first time in the song 'Supa Luv'. The song matches well with TEEN TOP's performance, and currently being a hot topic on line.

He's back in South Korea 4 weeks ago and helped TEEN TOP's comeback. Before he back to US on 13th, we met him.

- We heard that you supposed have your singing activities in South Korea, originally. Why did you go to US?

"I did my singing activities on 2004 under teacher Kim Hyungseok. I made my own song and did my activities as a ballad singer. But the result wasn't good. I learned a lot as I did the activities. But I want to be a producer with that background. That's why I entered Berkeley, and started my student life at US when I was 20."

- How did you debut in US?

"I lived at Boston and meet a friend, then we worked on music. I sent the music at that time to some New York labels. A company heard my song and said that the song matches with Justin Bieber, a rookie at that time. Then he recorded the song. That song is called 'One Less Lonely Girl' that was revealed on 2009. The song reached rank 16th in Billboard, at that time. By destiny, I'm currently working with some leading producers and managers."

- How did you end up working with TEEN TOP?

I received some calls from large agencies in Korea. But I don't have the time, so I couldn't try. But a personal call came from TEEN TOP's agency via my personal mini-homepage. At that time, TEEN TOP was still some trainees. So I think it's a chance for me to test my music possibilities in South Korea market. Because for top-stars, they're already big. No matter what song they sing, they will always be successful. Either it's my song or anybody's song. TEEN TOP's music color is beautiful and they're full of skill. That's why I planned to work with them even in the future. The team that worked with me also feel that Korea songs are good.

- What's the difference of 'Supa Luv' and the songs that you made in US?

"It's my music style, because I've been working in US. But I think the point in Korea is the lyrics. So I paid more attention to those."

- What's the difference with Korea songs?

"I paid a lot attention to the background effects. I think the song enriched in sound, rather than Korea normal songs that focuses on vocal's voice. Instead of making a strong ending, I made an ending with aftertaste. The quality is not really different but I think it's fresh. I'm interested in how will Korea took my song."

Are you currently working with another rookie?

"Right now I'm also a CEO for A-Rex production. We're busy because our rookie singer called Mat Musto just had a debut. In the future, whether giving songs, or debut in Korea, or even debut in US, I hope that I will be a bridge for South Korea and US."

Trainee, Jin Jiayin received an air kiss from Teen Top in their latest music video.

On January 14th, Teen Top released their MV for their title 'Supa Luv'. In the video, Jin Jiayin receives an air kiss from Teen Top and her past CF skills show in the video as well.

Before the MV's release, teaser images of Jin Jiayin dangerously sitting on railings was nicknamed the 'Fence Girl' and gained the curiosity of many for the upcoming video.

Teen Top performed on KBS's Music Bank on January 14th and will perform on MBC's Music Core on the 15th, and SBS's Inkigayo on the 16th.

According to SNSD's Japanese official website, SNSD will be releasing the Japanese version of 'Run Devil Run' on January 18th.

The song will be released in ringtone version and it is expected to receive lots of attention and interest from Japanese fans. The Japanese version of 'Run Devil Run' ringtone will be released on January 18th and the caller ringtone will be unveiled on January 25th.

[News] Amber is set to continue official activities for f(x)’s upcoming album!

f(x)'s rapper, Amber is finally back and joins the other 4 members for their upcoming album.
A broadcast representative tweeted a fan about Amber's comeback via his Twitter saying, "Remember you asked about Amber last time? Well, she's back and is working hard for their album which is scheduled to release early this February. She'll be able to continue her official activities by next month!"
Amber had to halt from f(x)'s regular activities and been away in the US for awhile because of her serious ankle injury, which resulted to a possibility of her resigning from the group. Few days ago, she was spotted attending SHINee's first concert (SHINee World The 1st Concert) which then the rumors were finally withdrawn.
Victoria mentioned on Sukira that Amber's been working hard on their upcoming album as well.

The popular Facebook game company BOBbara has announced the addition of YG artist images in one of its games. Its goal is "to become the next 'Nintendo' of the social gaming industry."

In the game, "Spot the Difference", the viewer must "find the difference while viewing breath taking sceneries." Included in the many different images are YG artists like 2NE1 and Big Bang.

Note: No info if the developers of the game got permission from YG :)

Big Bang's Seungri is receiving a lot of attention for his witty apology to IU's uncle fans.


Seungri uploaded onto his me2DAY on the 13th the following message: "You are like water for my parched self… and so, I'm happy – part of Seungri 1st MiniAlbum [VVip] 5th track duet I know with IU." Seungri was promoting his duet 'I Know' which he sang with IU for his upcoming first solo mini album which will be release on the 20th.

Another eye-catching part of his me2day update was the tag that Seungri himself uploaded. On this tag, he attached 'To IU's uncle fans, I'm sorry Please understand She's all the rage' and extended his apologies to all the uncle fans who care so much for IU.

Further, he caused much laughter amongst fans when he attached another tag "Her ideal type Taeyang, Seungri just a regular oppa."

IU's duets with 2AM Im Seulong for 'Nagging', and Sung Si Kyung for 'It's You' received top positions on the music charts, and she's become the most requested female singer for duets so far.

A YG representative revealed their thoughts on IU's duet with Seungri by stating "Over 3 years ago, before IU's debut, she had a chance encounter with Big Bang. It was an opportunity for her to get acquainted with all the members, and in particular, Seungri suggested to IU 'After you debut, let's be sure to sing a duet together'," and "Currently IU is receiving a flood of proposals for duets, and for her to agree to sing with Seungri means that she's kept her promise."

The representative further explained that "It's not a harmony between husky and sweet voices, it's a song that is refreshing to hear and is instead, a blend of two sweet voices coming together to create a new type of harmony. Seohyun has succesfully captured her mother in law's heart.

Touched by the letter and the gifts prepared by Seohyun, Jung Yonghwa's mother gave her daughter-in-law, Seohyun a passing mark (as wife/daughter in law).

On the January 15th broadcast of We Got Married (WGM), Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun went to Busan. Seohyun met her mother in law to show what a good daughter in law she is.

Prior to the meeting, Seohyun had prepared gifts to her mother in law. Among the gifts were nutrition supplement and scarf. The scarf was particularly loved by her mother in law because it came in her favorite wine (burgundy) color. The smile didn't leave Seohyun's mother in laws mouth upon receiving the gifts. The mother in law said, "The gift from Seohyun is beautiful, I like it".

Seohyun also wrote a letter to her parents in law. Having been receiving the same, dull letters from her son, Jung Yonghwa, mother in law was impressed and touched when she read the letter from Seohyun. At the end of the letter, Seohyun wrote "Sincerely, Hyun,your daughter in law". Indeed Seohyun had succeeded in being a good daughter in law.

On a recent episode of KBS2TV's "100 Points out of 100"(Oh! My School), SHINee's Minho, now known as the "YeonSang" (Noona) Killer, was asked whether he was been asked out before. Minho replied persistently that never once a girl had asked him out but when Kim Dongwan rephrased the question to "How about a drink if you have time or Noona will buy you a meal" (asking if this had ever happened), Minho chuckled and couldnt give an answer.
