We Got Married stated that they are not persisting on the idea of using idols for their new couple.

After the previous news article that there will be a new couple coming up,many are extremely curious about this new couple, but they are still in the process of finding suitable candidates.

It was said that a couple of idol stars are already chosen as WGM candidates,and respective idols' fans had been commenting on other idols' blog.
On the 10th,WGM PD had a phone conversation with OSEN and denied the fact that they have already chosen their candidates. She further stated " I have yet to meet and talk to most of the artists that were rumored to be the next couple.
I have been looking through the interview reports for a year, there are more non-Idols who wish to join in. If the person is suitable to be cast in WGM, it doesn't matter if he/she is an idol."

WGM PD further denied the fact that there will be New Year WGM special, as they do not have this during their last year broadcast so it'll remain the same.WGM will remain it's current status with only two couples (Khuntoria,Goguma) until they meet their suitable couple candidates.
Adam last episode will be broadcast on the 15th of January.

Co-Ed's Soomi revealed a photo of memory when she was preparing for a flight attendant test.

Co-Ed's Leader smile Soomi revealed 3 photos in her Twitter account on 11th January, "They found my photo in the internet. When I was 20 years old, preparing to be a flight attendant. It's kinda new for me, and nice to see it again. ^^ But it's just a past.."

In the photos, we can see that Soomi actually stood out because of her big eyes and pale smile. And in another photo, we can see her wearing flight attendant attire and tied her hair up. We cal feel her purity. A photo of her with an unfold umbrella and eyes looking down reminds us of flight attendants. We can say that it's totally different from her current full of charisma image.

It's confirmed! SNSD are the Asian CF models for IT giant, Intel.
SNSD and Intel will be doing various promotional campaigns and activities starting today, January 10th to target customers in Korea and other Asian countries.
SNSD's stylish and charming image blends well with Intel's 'Visibly Smart' motto for its '2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors'.
During the promotions, consumers in Korea and other parts of Asia will be able to see the girls through theirmusic video which will be available in both 2D and 3D, various web contents, photos and others.
The MV which is the fruit of the collaboration between Intel and SNSD shall be officially released on January 17th.
The girls stated, "It will be a great music video as fans will be able to sing along easily and at the same time witness SNSD's style of living. After TVXQ finished the rehearsal for KBS' "Music Bank" on the 7th, the two looked very happy, as if they came back from studying abroad.

In the press conference in KBS' Hall in Yeouido, Yunho and Changmin expressed that "We were worried if the tenor and bass voices of the group could sing well together, but surprisingly, we matched each other nicely. I hope everyone can feel the change after listening to the songs on the album."

CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa has gotten people talking about his dubious fashion choice.

On the January 10th episode of SBS's 'Night After Night', Jung Yonghwa wore bright red pants which were so skin-tight that they could be almost be mistaken for leggings. Netizens commented, "A fashion not for everybody", "He still somewhat looks good in them", and "When I first saw them, I thought that they was leggings".

It looks like that particular episode drew out the fashionista in him, since fashion icons GD&TOP appeared as guests for the show.

Kim Junsu from Idol Group JYJ, replied to a question about DBSK, saying, "As expected, I am unable to know the answer."

On 10th January, in the afternoon, Kim Junsu was present at the Tears of Heaven rehearsal venue which was made public that day.

Kim Junsu, together with Kim JaeJoong and Park YooChun, carried out activities as DBSK from 2004, for a period of 5 years, but from the summer of 2009 till now, they have been in a dispute with the agency of DBSK, SM. On the other hand, U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin are currently working with SM.

On this day, in response to a DBSK related question, Kim Junsu said, "If I were able to offer an answer, I would say something, but, I am also unable to comprehend what this is. With regards to how it will turn out in the future, and what kind of situation this is now, I do not know."

South Korea's beautiful long legged After School came together with Japanese singer Thelma Aoyma in order to film a New Year's Eve special program filming of the "Superstar Red and White Entertainment Awards". They arrived yesterday in Taiwan, where After School fans greeted them with so much enthusiasm and chaos that the members were in shock. So they went to a small restaurant to eat XiaoLongBao and drink bubble tea. 

Originally, 7 After School girls were scheduled to come, but only 6 minus Joo Yeon wasn't able to show up. Their company said that she had a fever and was not able to come, but she has tweeted that she is in the middle of filming currently. The scene at the airport was absolute chaos. Fans broke through the security line asking for autographs. Raina smiled and said, "It really did scare us, but we are happy that there are so many fans who support us".


Meanwhile, After School member UEE is in the reality show "We Got Married", which was aired recently in Taiwan. She and actor Park Jae Jung from "You are My Destiny" play fake couples in the illusion of marriage. 30 year old leader Kahi was asked whether their company would allow members to date, she laughed and replied, "My manager is anxious for me to fall in love and get married".

SBS's Monday-Tuesday drama It's Okay, Daddy's Girl has received a warning from the Korea Communications Standards Commission regarding its content, which is, to be fair, veering a little makjang.


At issue is the drama's provocative content with all its violence, threats, and secret plots that the commission deems excessive for a youthful audience. A few examples: Jeon Tae-soo has the hots for Moon Chae-won, and in his attempt to play the hero, he hires a guy to assault her, intending to save her. When a character dies, the guilty party uses his connections to get off scot-free and pin it on someone else. People are paid off and sent away. And so on.



While that excessive content was cited by the commission, in my opinion Daddy's Girl is really so mild that none of those issues are all that edgy or dark, really. The problem is partially that dramas in that timeslot (9 pm rather than 10 pm like other prime-time dramas) are more sensitive to controversial content because they're on earlier, but seriously,Daddy's Girl is tame. There has been FAR worse content in shows with similar timeslots, likeWife's Temptation and its spinoff, Angel's Temptation. There we had rape, revenge, and suicide, to name a few quintessential makjang elements.


On top of that, Daddy's Girl has received the complaint that there is too much product placement, with almost all of the cast possessing techie gadgets that look right out of a sales catalog. Sometimes those are even accompanied by a few lines of dialogue indicating the nifty special features built into the machines.


Meanwhile, the drama has been extended for one episode, bringing the total to 17 episodes. Originally slated for 16, the show got off-schedule in its first week due to a broadcast pre-emption, and this move is to even out its finale week.

[News] New girl group Dal★Shabet is named after a children's story book

A growing number of netizens are protesting against a new girl group who appear to be using the title of a children's book for their name.

The book's author is none too pleased with the new six-member group that has begun appearing in magazines and on national TV this month.

Baek Hee-na, author of the book "Dal Sherbet" has been highly praised for her creative storyline and pictures. "Dal Sherbet" — "Dal" being the Korean word for "moon" — is a story about a grandmother who makes sherbet out of a moon. Not long after release, the book's popularity soared among children, recording sales of 28,000 copies in four months.

The group, who make public appearances wearing little white skirts, are going by the slightly altered spelling of "Dal Shabet."

Baek, who spent more than four years working on "Dal Sherbet," expressed dismay via Twitter. Baek stated that, after the release of her book, she received a call from an entertainment agency asking for permission to use the title to name the new group. Baek claimed that she turned them down.

"They are trying to use the title of a children's book to name a sexy girl group. 'Dal Sherbet' isn't a name of an ice cream or a coffee shop. It is a title of a creative picture book for Korean children. Even if this is not an illegal act, this is immoral and unconscionable behavior."

Baek has since erased her comments from Twitter but, by Dec. 30, 926 netizens had joined a group trying to stop Dal Shabet from using the name.

Dal Shabet's agency, Happy Face Entertainment, admitted on Dec. 30 to having contacted Baek regarding the use of the title.

However, the agency said that using the name Dal Shabet is fully legal and the two meanings are different. It claimed that "Dal Sherbet" describes "moon and sherbet" while "Dal Shabet" means "sweet sherbet."

The veil has been taken off on the most anticipated song 'Nice To Meet You' by G.NA.

Before 11:00 on the 11th, the song 'Nice To Meet You' was released ahead of time via music sites. As of this winter, they have risen as the leaders in the male-female duet fever.

During the blind date between Seul Ong and Rainbow's Jae Kyung, he looked nervous and said, "This is my first blind date."

Big Bang member Seungri who is preparing for his solo album asked his fans to create advertisement phrases for his new album. His request is grabbing many people's attention.

Followed by GD and TOP, Seungri only has 20 days left until the release of his solo album. Popular Korean group 「JYJ」 will be participating in 「Samsung Share a Book Everyday Campaign」. This was confirmed by Samsung Campaign's press relations company, Prain on the 7th.
