Well,lunar new year is approaching and you can see more and more kpop stars sharing photos of themselves in hanbok recently.

I just learned how to greet "Happy New Year" during my Korean language class last week,it is a bit long for new learner but it is worthwhile since you can greet you favourite idols on Twitter or korean friends when you meet them during the Lunar new year in a few days' time.

The 91'ers, B2ST's Dongwoon and SHINee's Key are known for being very close friends.

On 23rd of January, during the recording of MBC's Lunar New Year's special program, "Idol Star Athletics & Swimming Championships", it seems like Dongwoon proposed to Key.

This was the advice that Bigbang's member Seungri heard from Mun Hee Jun, the ex member of HOT, and Son Ho Young, the ex member of GOD.
Mun Hee Jun and Son Ho Young have gotten through the disappointment of not being able to continue their activities with their past group that used to have very big popularity, and now they're giving Seungri advice to make him realize Bigbang's values. Not only that, the concern of disbanding that might happen to Kara because of their contract issues with the company can be an example too.
Seungri is interviewed by SPN on last January 14th in the filming set of his new solo album's title song MV, VVIP.
Seungri said that after he got out from MBC Happy Sunday 'Enjoy Today' on October last year, he started the preparation for his solo album and Bigbang's album, and when he got the time he'll meet with his seniors to receive advice about entertainment activities.
Seungri told us that "The seniors said, 'although we want to go back to that place again but we can't'". Mun Hee Jun and Son Ho Young are now over 30 years old. Their words perhaps mean that now they're too old to do singing while dancing just like what they've done before in their group. But practically it can also mean that it's impossible for disbanded group to reuniting again and doing activities together.
Seungri also said that his sunbaes told him that 'you can't stay in the same place like where you are now forever'. It contains a message that after years passed Bigbang's popularity will also change and this team won't last forever, so you should focus in your present activities now as Bigbang.
Seungri explained the reason why he wants to meet them, "I want to be a more mature man, so I seek the seniors to hear their advices," he said.

[News] TVXQ, First Appearance As Duo On Music Station

Yunho (24) and Changmin (22) who have restarted their activities as Tohoshinki has been invited to perform on the TV program "Music Station" on the 28th of January.

Tohoshinki was reborn this month and after restarting their activities with a bang, they are now going to be performing in this Japanese music program. It has been one year and a month since they have performed, and this will be their first raw performance of their song "Why?" which was released on January 26th.

Super Junior's member Kim Heechul (28) has been in the entertainment industry for more than 5 years, and is now entering the highest peak of his career. The MBC Lunar New Year special Idol Star Athletics and Swimming Championships began filming at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium and the Gymnasium.

Singer Kim Tae Woo revealed that if he were asked out by 'Hot Trend' IU, he would turn her down.

[NEWS] Still cuts from Big Bang’s “Big Show 3D” movie revealed!

Still cuts from the "2010 Big Bang Live Concert Big Show", have recently been revealed, which has bumped the anticipation for its release. For those of you who may be a little puzzled as to why a concert would have a still cut, the photos are from the event's upcoming 3D movie.

Filming began back in January 29th, 2010, and was a collaborative effort from the best camera-crew members and sound staff. Big Bang's performances were captured from a variety of 3D angles, which is sure to bring the best experience for fans.

The 3D movie will be released in theatres by February 2nd, a perfect prelude to the group's comeback through the "2011 Big Show" on the 25th.

G.NA, who came back with a new album, boasted her lasting friendship with SECRET's Jeon Hyosung.

[News] 'Secret Garden' approved to be broadcasted in 13 countries

Despite ending its broadcast in South Korea last weekend, 'Secret Garden' continues to generate buzz after confirmatory reports has reached other countries.
 
SBS Contents Hub confirmed last Thursday, that they have approved rights for broadcast on thirteen countries with a combined price of US$3.5 million. 'Secret Garden' along with the rest of Asia is now approved to be air in Japan, China and Thailand. 

 It has also signed on with a U.S. website which will offer the series as video-on-demand. The media hub also sent a statement saying : "We expect more profits once exports of merchandise such as dolls, comics and diaries begin sooner or later," an SBS Contents Hub spokesperson said. "The Japanese terrestrial channel that will broadcast the series expects the same blockbuster success as 'Winter Sonata' there." More on, plans of converting the drama to a local musical is also being thought of and discussed.

[News] Athena accident puts broadcast at risk

An on-set accident for Athena: Goddess of War has sent its lead star, Jung Woo-sung, to the hospital and has producers worried that this week's episode might not make it out on time.


The accident has been described as a "serious car wreck" that occurred on January 23 during an action shoot. The scene involved actor Jung Chan-woo (playing Athena agent Chul-kyu) being hit by a car while trying to shoot Jung-woo (Jung Woo-sung) in an underground parking lot.
However, the car slipped during the shoot, and both actors were injured while hustling to avoid being hit — Jung Chan-woo injured his head, and Jung Woo-sung his right knee. They were taken to the emergency room for treatment.


Although the situation is still being monitored, it's being reported that it's likely Jung Woo-sung will not be able to return to filming right away — or possibly at all — which puts the entire production into emergency mode. The drama was unable to complete its filming for this week's broadcast of Episode 14, which means that Tuesday's episode may be postponed while the actors heal. Beyond that is a question mark.


Missing a broadcast due to an accident isn't exactly common, but it's been known to happen in extreme circumstances. In 2008, Painter of the Wind delayed a broadcast when Moon Geun-young broke her nose while filming, and in 2009, Gu Hye-sun's car accident delayed an episode of Boys Before Flowers. In both instances, the dramas whipped up a hasty "special" to broadcast instead.
