- My Princess: Episode 4
Posted: 15 Jan 2011 05:10 AM PST Another celeb gets hitched: actress Heo Yi-jae (Girlfriends, Single Papa in Love) married her businessman groom in a morning ceremony on January 15. With Heo turning 24 next month, she joins a smallish group of actresses who have tied the knot early in their careers, such as Han Ga-in and Lee Yo-won. In fact, because of her youth, her engagement spurred a bit of pregnancy speculation, which she strongly denied. Baek Sung-hyun leads the boys in Monster Posted: 14 Jan 2011 08:20 PM PST This sounds pretty interesting: Baek Sung-hyun (Accidental Couple, Like the Moon Escaping From Clouds) is taking on a leading role in a Drama Special miniseries called Monster. Most Drama Special installments have been one-offs, but this one (like Rock Rock Rock) will have more episodes; it’s scheduled for eight total. The plot of Monster involves murders that take place at a private high school over eight days of winter break, during which seven students and one teacher remain behind. In addition, a psychiatrist also joins them at the school after being involved in a car accident. (...) © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2011. | Permalink | 22 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Secret Garden gets a special broadcast Posted: 14 Jan 2011 03:20 PM PST Secret Garden ends its 20-episode run this weekend, but it’ll have another week on the broadcast schedule, as it has announced a special to air the following week. It’ll be a standard special, with a highlight reel, behind-the-scenes tidbits, and NG clips, and has a 70-minute running time. As the cast is still busily shooting the finale (eep), it’s not yet known which of the actors will be available to participate, but I suspect that if the main actors aren’t present there’ll be a fan uproar; Secret Garden isn’t Secret Garden without Hyun Bin. (I’d go so far as to say the drama would’ve tired a lot sooner without him.) This appears to be a way to pad out the schedule with the Asia Cup taking place that weekend. The special broadcast is currently scheduled to air on Saturday, January 22, but should the Korean team win the group stage and advance to the quarterfinals, they’ll play that night and the Secret Garden broadcast will be pushed to Sunday. The drama to follow, New Gisaeng Story, was originally scheduled to premiere on the 22nd. However, it is now scheduled to air its first two episodes on the 23rd, unless an Asia Cup win pushes that to the following week. Via TV Report RELATED POSTS

Posted: 14 Jan 2011 10:33 AM PST Is it possible for two guys to fight over two girls at the same time? Truthfully, then it really becomes more about THEM, and not at all about the girls, right? There’s fanfic just itching to be written out there somewhere. I’m having so much fun in this Rhombus of Jealousy and the early stages of Seol’s not-a-relationship with Hae-young that I’m loathe to leave it behind. I hope that we don’t speed through the courtship in this drama, because there’s something very winning about this couple…when they’re not a couple.
