Eye candy galore: My Princess’s press conference Posted: 03 Jan 2011 05:13 AM PST Gahh, what a beautiful cast: The lead foursome of MBC’s My Princess came to their press conference on January 3 looking pretty damn gorgeous. The Korean drama industry has its fair share of lovelies, but I don’t think I’m the only one who finds My Princess particularly blessed in the looks department, particularly with lead couple Kim Tae-hee (love the tiara!) and Song Seung-heon — although supporting leads Ryu Soo-young and Park Ye-jin are hardly looking shabby themselves. Posted: 02 Jan 2011 08:59 PM PST Finally, something interesting is beginning to unfold in Athena. Episode 4 is eventful and mysterious, and the circle of acquaintances is closing with enemies, ex-lovers, multiple faced impostors and long time nemesis together pretending to fight for the same cause. Truth is, all of them have their own personal agendas that go way past simple patriotism. The game has just started, and I can’t wait for future unexpected twists and betrayals amongst seemingly loyal teams, so let’s sit with some popcorn and enjoy! Weekend drama Believe In Love makes strong premiere Posted: 02 Jan 2011 04:58 PM PST Believe In Love, which comes from the makers of 2009′s hit family series Sons of Sol Pharmacy, enjoyed a very strong first outing this weekend, with its first episode bringing in a 21.6% viewership rating (AGB Nielsen) on Saturday evening. In the same timeslot, its competitors brought in a 12.2% and 11.2% for SBS’s Laugh, Mom and MBC’s Gloria, respectively. AGB numbers aren’t available yet for the second episode, but TNS gives 21.1% for Sunday. This bodes well for Believe In Love, which is already performing better than its predecessor; Marry Me started out with a 16.7% and averaged a 24.2% for its entire run, peaking with 34.8%. Meanwhile, Sol Pharmacy‘s first episode came in with a solid 18%, and went on to top 40%, so this is a good sign.
