The 30-line text message from G-Dragon
Seungri: Jiyong is kind of hateful (kind of a love/hate feeling that's hard-to-explain). He criticizes a lot but also takes care of us after, so it's very hateful. After the first broadcast [of the comeback], he sent me a 30-line text message. It was the longest text message I received from Jiyong. He wrote tons of bad stuff about my expression, live performance, gesture, "what kind of dance is that", "are you really a dancing kid?", "what is this?", "don't you exercise these days?", "you look so dwarfish/weak", "do you not see the camera?", etc. I got scolded when I get home and I said stuff like, "please wait", "I'll do better", etc.

Then, Seungri mentioned that G-Dragon called the managers, stylists, etc. and told them to take care of him and to always give him warm food and all that caring stuff. Seungri says that G-Dragon is hateful because he's cool and he can do everything.

The suicide comment
No Hong Chul asks what kind of comments online are the most hurtful.
Seungri: This isn't something that happened to me personally but to another person. The person called me while crying and said he got a comment saying, "The only thing left for this person is suicide". So I told him not to care about those comments too much and tried too cheer up even though I was hurt too. I said I'd save him (like bring him back to life).

G-Dragon is a romantic
No Hong Chul: If you were a girl, who would you date from BIGBANG?
Seungri: G-Dragon. (Sighs) He is very romantic. I'm his roommate so I see everything. He's seriously romantic. If he dates someone, he makes a song for the person. One time, he asked me how the song was and I said, oh my god, if this was released in Korea, it's going to be huge deal and it would make a lot of money. But... since it's for the woman he loves, it's only for her and gives up that money/fame from that song.

Seungri also says he never made a song for a woman yet. He also said that he hardly receives presents from females and that their managers tell him that some rookie female idols/singers like him so he sent a message to them on radio.

Seungri talked about GD like 1/3 or 1/4 of the time and also mentioned that he wants Daesung's body.

2NE1 member, Sandara Park unveiled a cute story with G-Dragon.
On January 29, Sandara Park revealed on KBSTV2 Entertainment Tonight (MC Shin Hyun Jun) that, "G-Dragon is someone you'd think 'This is a man I hope to find good romance with,' though you won't think it of him" she said.
Sandara Park continued, "Not long ago, I went to ski with G-Dragon," she said, "Usually, though it's not something many people believe, G-Dragon is not one who says so many words. So he got my ski board that I was carrying, without saying anything," she revealed.
When he heard this, G-Dragon said, "Sandara Park was holding this board that looked like twice her weight," he continued, "It looked hard for her. So without care, I got it, her thanks is enough."

Just posted on the Korea Music Copyright Association site is the above info! Looks like the release date is March 9th, 2011 (this is just the information listed on KOMCA, not the definite release date, although we've always posted info from KOMCA and so far, the release dates have been consistent.) and features 2 tracks. The first, "HOT", which hmm, could be the same song he sang at the fanmeeting in 2009! Second song is called "편지를 쓴다" or Writing Letters (keke thanks Jess!).

"HOT" first line is: "STOP DROP HOT IM HOT 항상그녀들" (trans: STOP DROP HOT IM HOT always those girls)

"Writing Letters" first line is: "아무이유없이가슴이아파" (trans: my heart hurts for no reason)

We'll keep an eye out for more information... but normally this is how kHottests figure out what's coming out when ;). Oh, did I mention (or did you read?? hehe) that both songs are written by Junsu himself? He's also listed himself as "JUN.K" which is funny because I had trouble finding the listings at first, hahaha. Anyways.... time to spazz, ready, go!!

One Way boys and Junsu have been tweeting about some kind of collaboration they've been working on...and well, this song is also listed on the Korean Music Copyright Association website, even though the release date was last September, perhaps we'll be hearing this song soon? :D

The performers listed are Kan Miyeon (간미연) and Jun.k. With One Way boys in the album credits... could this song also be on Junsu's solo album? We'll see!

MBC 'We Got Married"s Jung Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun has shown warmness through their latest photo.
The two are seen to be sticking faces with comfortable expression.The two have also begun to share an arguement after spending a sweet time togetehr at Busan.
This is due to the fact that Seo Hyun wanted to bring Yong Hwa to the hospital. It is expected for us to see the couple bicker about going to the hospital in the upcoming episode.

[NEWS] 3 strong groups debut successfully in Japan!

A Kpop wind is blowing in the Japanese music scene. Since the debut of Girl's Generation in Japan, Korean boy groups have been debuting successively in Japan during the end of last year and the beginning of this year. With their good looks, vocal ability and dancing skills, male idol groups are capturing the hearts of the Japanese female population.
Last year in December, 2PM the idol group with an average height of 180 cm held their first showcase in the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena. When they appeared, the crowd immediately went crazy. The 6 members who are aged between 20 and 23 years old are already top stars in Japan. Because of their masculine image, they are known as beastly idols.
Heartbeat is an immensely popular song in Korea. The very fit members also danced a very unique dance for the song. The song's lyrics describe the pain and helplessness felt by a man after a breakup.
On the day that 2PM debuted in Japan, their showcase was attended by 25,000 people. They showed off fresh charisma and a perfect dance made possible by lots of practice .
Beast will officially debut in Japan on the 23rd of March. The six member group who debuted in Korea in 2009 have explosive dance moves. Intense rhythms are a special feature of their songs. Although they are only youngsters of 19 to 21 years old, they have successfully released many songs and dances. After only debuting in Korea for half a year, their song Shock shot to first place on the charts.
Each of the six members have their own specialty, but their premise is built by all the members' ability to dance. Their popularity has been enhanced due to the earlier debut of 3 members.
Last year in November, Beast held their first solo showcase in Tokyo's Big Site. On that day, fans arranged themselves at the entrance of the venue to form the word BEAST to welcome the members. This spring, Beast will start official activities in Japan.
On the other hand, there is Shinee. Shinee who debuted in Korea in 2008 are gaining explosive popularity. They are well known for their outstanding vocals and self-choreographed dances.
Be it fast-paced dance songs or beautiful ballads, they are always excellent performers. Their image is also easily accepted by Japanese people. Most Korean boy groups consist of pretty boys who are good at singing and dancing, Japanese fans love this kind of image.
Shinee also held their first solo showcase with grandeur in Japan during the end of last year, with an audience consisting of mostly female fans in their teens and twenties. They are said to officially debut in Japan this spring.
The Hallyu wave in Japan was started by TVXQ. They broke the barriers between Jpop and Kpop, making more people gain an interest towards Korean music. In addition, with girl groups coming into fashion in Japan, a whole new level of fans have been formed.
With this momentum, let us welcome the peak of idol boy groups. As to how this phenomena will affect Japan's music scene, we can only wait and see.

Seohyun was impressed by the sincerity of Jung Yonghwa's friends who called themselves 'Doomaekpaem'.

On MBC 'We Got Married' aired on January 29th, Seohyun had the opportunity to meet his hubby's friends in Busan. At a cafe, they had a great time listening to stories, taking picture together as well as receiving gifts (a couple hoodie and old photos) from 'Doomaekpaem'. It was really a heartwarming session.


In an interview which took place later, Seohyun said, "I can tell that they are good friends. They like hubby Yong more".

[News] US SONE flashmob at Intel HQ a hit with Korean fans

American fans of SNSD have become the focus of attention after their "Visual Dreams" flashmob at Intel's headquarters.

A video of several dozen male and female SNSD fans dancing in front of the headquarters of Intel, with the company's logo clearly in view, was uploaded on YouTube on the 25th. Their music was SNSD's "Visual Dreams" which was unveiled at the same time that SNSD were named as Intel's models for Asia.

The flashmob took place on the 22nd. Calling themselves "NorCal SONES", they are SNSD fans from the American state of North California. The flashmob begins with around ten fans who dance to the "Visual Dreams" choreography. After a minute, around twenty other fans appear from all directions and join in the flashmob. As the song finishes, they all disperse as though nothing had happened.

The netizen who unveiled the video wrote "SNSD fans from North Carolina gathered at the Intel HQ in Santa Clara, California to do a flashmob" and also thanked all those that took part and filmed for making it possible.

Other SNSD fans, upon seeing the video commented, "In front of Intel's HQ? Daebak!", "Give us free SNSD calendars when we buy Intel products", "Watching them working hard to make this happen was fun to watch", "I wish I was in the area" and applauded their efforts.

[News] Taeyeon through the eyes of The One

Korean singer, The One, shared anecdotes involving SNSD Taeyeon while on the radio. He revealed to listeners this morning on iTVFM's "Run Radio", how it felt to be Taeyeon's, "singing mentor".

"She was a child who loved singing and dreamed of being singer, who now has a great voice and has matured ino the leader of the group that everybody loves.

"I did worry about who I would record a duet with when I announced the album… but I felt that with the six years of history as student and mentor, that Taeyeon could sing with a great heart and great voice, more than anybody else in the world, so I asked her."

The One's current album contains the duet with Taeyeon, "Like a Star"

"When recording overran to past 11:30 at night, I told Taeyeon to hurry home, mistakenly thinking that she was still a High School student. But Taeyeon has already matured into a respectable lady; she said that she would stay until we'd finished recording" he laughed.

The One has been a mentor for idols such as TVXQ, Super Junior, M.Street and Sugar. His fourth album, called "4th part1… I walk again" has marked his return to music after three years of absence.
