- Playful Kiss: Episode 1
- Daemul’s President Go Hyun-jung
- I Am Legend: Episode 9
- Jo In-sung’s life in the army
Posted: 03 Sep 2010 08:46 PM PDT I had mixed feelings about this premiere: It wasn’t as good as I was hoping, but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. I can see where some viewers had issues with it, and I share those concerns. But I think it started to find its groove later on — almost too late, really — and will hold onto that hope going into Episode 2. Daemul’s President Go Hyun-jung Posted: 03 Sep 2010 04:53 PM PDT Now that SBS’s Daemul is finally rolling, looks like they’re eager to get your attention (and for a positive reason, for once) with all their new stills. Go Hyun-jung is featured in the latest set, looking every bit the part of Korea’s first woman president. In these photos, Go’s character, Seo Hye-rim, is at a summit talk at the White House with the American president. The faked White House was staged at the Damyang Dnasty Country Club Hall in South Jeolla — which, by the way, was also the set of Gu Jun-pyo’s mansion in Boys Before Flowers. This scene will be shown in the first episode. (I can only hope it contains as little acting in English as possible. These types of scenes always make me cringe; the Korean actor rarely sounds like s/he knows what s/he’s saying, and the English speaker always tends to speak slowly like his co-star is a child or an idiot.) Posted: 03 Sep 2010 02:00 PM PDT Episode 9 marks the return of… NOO RI! Yes – the most important character of this drama. No? OK – well, it is also the turning point of the drama – soo, just how do you follow up an epic courtroom scene and the end of a divorce? Posted: 03 Sep 2010 09:32 AM PDT Actor Jo In-sung (Frozen Flower, What Happened in Bali) shares pictures of his life in the army. His unit is out on a team week, and the pictures show a fun side of army life, as Jo catches mussels by the sea. Jo was amazed at how easily the fan-mussels were caught, and he joked, “If I want to do this for a living, do I have to give up acting?” It’s nice to see a side of army life that isn’t so rigid and confined.
