SHINee member Onew performs a scene from musical "Rock of Ages" during its press call held at the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea on September 16, 2010.

"Rock of Ages," a jukebox musical being introduced in Korea for the first time, gathered attention for its casting of boy band SHINee member Onew as an aspiring rock star. While jukebox musicals "Mamma Mia!" and "All Shook Up," both hits in Korea, created new stories through the songs of established musicians such as ABBA and Elvis Presley, "Rock of Ages" takes rock music as the main character. The appearance of rock music such as "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It" which swept an era, is a given. Then there is the love triangle between aspiring rock star Drew, aspiring actress Sherrie from the countryside, and rock star Stacee who is beyond his prime, as well as the struggle to protect rock club "The Bourbon" which was the core of the L.A. metal scene in real life. It is practically made up of rock from start to finish. Hence, Korean veteran rock bands Boohwal and Novasonic have been assigned Stacey's band members and are the ones in charge of the live performance for "Rock of Ages." When sound that rings their hearts are created, the use of multivision which creates the effect of one watching a video of a performance and special effects usually used in concerts, closes the distance between the stage and the audience.

With an atmosphere resembling that of an actual rock concert having been created, all that is left now is how well the actors do with the well-set table before them. Only having debuted earlier in the year, the four quirky girls of SISTAR ended their promotions with their debut track 'Push Push' a while ago and went straight back to the scene to start promotions on their comeback track 'Shady Girl.'

Since the release of the single and the music video of their follow up track, the tune has been floating around almost everywhere and more and more people are becoming fans of the girls. Their performance of 'Shady Girl' on Music Bank today was once again very lively and cute.

Super Junior Leeteuk revealed his sesame seed look in a recent photo.

Leeteuk wrote on his twitter on the 24th, "try to spot Leeteuk!! I also bursted out laughing after spotting myself. Check it out", together with the text he uploaded a photo.

BoA: Ever since I heard about it, I've been really excited. It's the first time we are able to perform together at a place like this, so it makes me all the more happy.

Kangta: When I was performing with my group H.O.T we weren't given this chance, so I'm happy I get to stand on this wonderful stage with my juniors. I'm nervous and worried, but more than that I'm looking forward to it and am happy I can perform her.




—The fact most in the audience are not Korean-American's, it seems this has a big significance.

Yunho: We are able to make our culture widely known. Still, the fact that various people from different countries have an interest (in us), makes me very happy.

T-ara's Jiyeon and upcoming mixed group, Co.ed's Hyoyoung, who both will be appearing on KBS1TV 8-episode drama, "Jungle Fish 2" revealed images taken on set.

Although they are the same age, it would make most people think they are rivals to each other, but they are not. After Hyoyoung joined Core Contents Media, Jiyeon and Hyoyoung have already become close friends.

Hyoyoung said, "I frequently meet with Jiyeon when we both have days off. We like to eat, hang out and listen to music.. and share our personal stories. We have a lot of fun.
