FT Island is up #1 on music site Monkey3 weekly chart just 1 week into their comeback.

Their comeback song 'Love Love Love' is up #1 on Monkey3 weekly chart for the 1st week of September (30th August~5th September). At #2 is SISTAR with the song 'Shady Girl' which has been climbing steadily up the top 10 rankings since it first entered the charts.

And at #3 is WheeSung with the song 'I Even Thought of Marriage' which jumped from #20 to #3 for this week.

DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul said with a slightly low-spirited expression during the recording for cable music channel Mnet's "The Beatles Code." But if anything, nobody probably wanted to cry it out to him more than the production crew of "The Beatles Code." It is because like the words of emcee Yoon Jong-shin -- "it is up to the producer to bring out what the emcees have tried in their best to make as much be filmed as possible" -- the most crucial point to "The Beatles Code" is drawing out various stories from its guests, especially those which cannot be told on public television.

But the truth spoken by these rascals whose ages average 37.7 years and have been through hell and high water, was revealed better through their slightly toned-down speech rather than tough talk. The conversation led by the theme 'Murphy's Law' was enough to show the number of times DJ DOC had experienced chaos -- from the concerns of celebrities who make a living with the money they make from showbiz to the time they almost had to quit being singers during the early stages of their career because they got into a fight with several drunks. So we decided that we should just turn back after enjoying ourselves the right amount." That is how the actual truth of these aged rascals, who actually just wanted to have fun on stage without much to desire, emerged just like that. So Lee Ha-neul, do not seem so low-spirited.

They recently produced a concept called "Lucid Lucifer", through High Cut Magazine.
SHINee gave out their own dynamic charms by showing chic looks in colourful pique shirts or posing like a playful boy in vivid hoodies for this photo shoot.
The 5 members – almighty leader Onew, Jonghyun, full of a beasty force, Dream Team's super charming guy Minho, half-shaved cheerful rapper Key, and the only teenager, cute 'maknae' Taemin – worked in fantastic harmony, posing all together or in pairs.

Are choco abs a thing of the past? Probably not, but there does seem to be a new wave of heroes making a comeback, and sweeping the 'Beast Men' under the rug.

For a while now, the so-called Beast Men have cropped up and taken center stage, as a reaction against the 'Flower Pretty Boy' trend that piqued with dramas like Coffee Prince and made metrosexual pretty boys a pan-Asian phenomenon.

But it looks like the pretty boys are making a comeback, this time in the guise of 'Candy Men', as in the cartoon, Candy. To be more specific, they're being described as 'Terius Men,' named for Candy's leading male character, the ever-so-pretty boy of flowing locks and perfect complexion.



The poster boys for the return of Candy Men? Micky Yoochun, Song Joong-ki, and Kim Hyun-joong, of course. Headliners of soon-to-be cult classics Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Playful Kiss, these guys are leading the pack for the return of boys who are prettier than girls. Not that their heroines aren't stunning. Maybe we'll go with, "As pretty as."

Micky Yoochun is being touted as the new Terius Man about town, but personally, I think Song Joong-ki blows both these guys out of the water. He's got that perfect mix of angelic androgyny and boyish mischief that makes him the quintessential pretty boy. His bored, hedonistic playboy character in Sungkyunkwan is PERFECT for him. I certainly hope there's a chance to see him in drag. He would kill it as a gisaeng.

Kim Hyun-joong got a head start in the Pretty Boy Pantheon, as the willowy white knight in Boys Over Flowers, and continues to tread that very fine line of pretty vs. girly in that trademark manner of his in Playful Kiss. So far, his main character traits consist of genius IQ, and very very pretty.

Homme duet, featuring 8eight's Lee Hyun and 2AM's Changmin, and Korean rock band FT Island took the crown from pop sensation BoA on weekend music programs last week.

On SBS' Sunday music program "Inkigayo," five-member band FT Island scored their first Mutizen Award in three years with their new single "Love, love, love."

The latest track is featured on the group's second mini-album "beautiful journey," which hit stores on August 25. They will be promoting the latest release in Korea while preparing for their joint concert in Japan this month.
