Actor Lee Byung-hun has been named California’s state ambassador for tourism, confirmed by his agency BH Entertainment. If this top star can’t get more visitors to California, who else can?

Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be present at the Travel & Tourism Commissioning ceremony to discuss "Globalizing Trade and Investment" (aka tourism) with Korea. Lee's duties as the tourism ambassador will include informing Korean travelers of the appeals of visiting California.

Korean online portal site Monkey3 recently had a poll titled “Which star would you introduce your parents to on Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day)?

The choices were Shin Se Gyung, Han Hyo Joo, Ga-in, Lee Seung Gi, Yoon Shi Yoon, and Won Bin. Over 2,000 people voted and it seems like Lee Seung Gi is the perfect guy to bring home to momma. He took 1,218 votes (43%) while Won Bin received 774 votes (27%) and Yoon Shi Yoon, 653 votes (23%).

It seems like the majority of voters were females as the three female candidates shared the 2% of votes (Ga-in, 67 votes — Shin Se Gyung, 60 votes — Han Hyo Joo, 49 votes).

H.O.T’s ex-member Tony An is back!

After his 2 year mandatory military service, Tony An is back! Tony An was discharged yesterday and was greeted by numerous fans congratulating his return. Fellow celebrity soldiers, Andy and Boom, and 200 fans applauded his loyalty to Korea unlike some people who meet the tooth fairy quite too often in a year.

As for his return to the K-Pop industry, he’s back already. Today, Tony An released a new single titled “I’m On My Way to Meet You” for his dedicated fans. He will release a full album sometime in October or early November.

Jo In-sung's agency uploaded a few recent photos of the popular actor, who is now performing his military duty in the air force base, on his me2DAY blog today.

They wrote "What do you think of the strongest air force army, Jo In-sung who protects the Republic of Korea? His manly side is getting more and more impressive."

Jo In-sung joined the air force on April 2009 and is currently working as the ambassador of the air force. The photos are just as great as posters! Do you agree?

The leader of the 2am woke up early in the morning and posted the photo above on his Twitter. What was his caption? “"I'm finally finished^^ I need to wake up at 5, so gotta zZz. Oh ya! Something to anticipate for this month~! BahBAM!"

The battle is over for Kang Ji-hwan!

His legal woes have officially ended!

Actor Kang Ji-hwan’s agency, S Plus Entertainment, has recently been involved in a legal battle with his former agency Jambo. Jambo claimed Ji-hwan was in breach of contract for signing with another company months before their exclusive contract with him ended. Since March of 2010, law enforcement have been investigating charges( embezzlement and document forgery)Jambo filed against the actor and S Plus.

S Plus Entertainment released the following statement earlier today about their newfound agreement,

“the two firms have found common ground on issues surrounding management of the actor’s career, leading both S-Plus and Jambo to put behind the legal battle stemmed from misunderstandings and a conflict of opinions and reach a positive conclusion.”

We hope the actor will continue to entertain us and move forward with a positive new outlook in his career.

Sexy diva Son Dam-bi is now a chic rider!

Since the promotion for”The Queen“from Son Dam Bi's third mini album ended, the sexy queen decided to heat up the music industry with her second title song from the same album which will be “dB Rider”.

From the teaser photo released on September 14, you can see her new arrogant cat woman style. The official music video of this new pop dance song will be released on September 16th.Her first performance of 'dB Rider' is scheduled to air on KBS2 "Music Bank” this Friday.

Jung Yun-ho performed all of his stunts for “Haru”!

U-know Yun-ho!

The drama Haru, produced by Korea Tourist Service, Inc and Cheil Communication, is an interactive omnibus drama starring Hallyu stars such as U-Know Yun-ho, Han Chae-young, Big Bang, Kim Bum, Lee Da-hae, and Park Shi-hoo. The drama was filmed all across the nation!They filmed in Busan, Gokseong, Yangpyung, The Han River, and on board the Haerang train in order to shed light into the hidden beauties of Korea.

On the 17th of August, actor Yun-ho performed all the stunts himself for this upcoming drama.
The production team has just released the photos of Yun-ho during filming. This filming was done on the September17th.

Teen Top vs Infinite on “Bouquet”!

Yesterday, boy bands Teen Top and Infinite had a singing and dancing battle on the show "Bouquet".

Both groups performed Rain(bi)'s song’s “Love song” and “Rainism”. Teen Top and Infinite both showed off their talent and skills which impressed many audience and girl group members, who were guests on the show.
