[News] 2NE1 holds 4D music video showcase over weekend

K-pop female group 2NE1 held a showcase over the weekend featuring their music videos for their three title tracks in 4D format, the first time such an attempt has been made by a recording artist.

The quartet kicked off the event with an autograph session for fans at the Time Square shopping center in Yeongdeungpo district in Seoul, followed by unveiling the music videos for "Can't Nobody," "Go Away" and "Clap Your Hands" in 4D from their recent first full-length album "To Anyone."

4D films incorporate physical effects to simulate effects such as rain, wind and vibration which occur in synchronization with the film through the use of water or air sprays and motion simulators.

"It was a lot of fun to make these music videos and seeing ourselves on the big screen was fun with all these effects," 2NE1 member Sandara said after the videos were revealed.

2NE1 leader CL said, "It feels great to be returning to the music scene after one year with our album and promoting the three title tracks which are all different songs."

The girls made their comeback with their first studio release "To Anyone," which was released locally and internationally on September 9. The latest record features a total of 12 songs including six new tracks, four previously releases and two bonus songs.

They have been promoting the three title tracks simultaneously which are currently the top 3 songs on several web-based and offline music charts. "Can't No body" has taken the crown on televised music shows such as Mnet's "M! Countdown" and KBS '"Music Bank."

The girls, who are also readying for their debut in the United States, ranks at No. 3 on Apple's iTunes hip-hop albums chart in US, following behind top recording artists Drake and Eminem.

Composed of other members Bom and Minzy, 2NE1 has been one of the most successful girl groups in the country since their debut in May 2009.

[News] miss A to release new album next week

Korean girl group miss A will be making a comeback to the music scene with a new single set for release next week, according to agency JYP Entertainment on Monday.

A PR official at JYPE told 10Asia over the phone that "Step Up," the name of the girls' second single album, will be released on September 27, the date stated at the end of their teaser video released earlier in the day.

JYPE had posted the video, a 20-second clip showing the girls in their new styles for the upcoming second single, on miss A's official YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/missa on Monday morning.

Two teaser images released late last week had disclosed the girls' new bright and bold outfits while hiding their faces.

But the video revealed today revealed how the members' looks had changed from head to toe from when they promoted their last single "Bad Girl Good Girl"; Jia's hair changed from hot pink to a light blond, Suzy's hair from straight to Niagara style, Fei's hair from shoulder-length to long reggae and Min wore colorful eye make-up instead of smoky make-up.

The four-member group, composed of Korean members Min and Suzy, and Chinese members Fei and Jia, had been on a break since promoting their debut single "Bad Girl Good Girl" for about a month in July.

Armed with strong vocals and dancing skills, they had stormed into the music scene at the time, sweeping music charts of web-based providers and televised programs for up to a month, a rare feat for a newcomer group to achieve in the rapidly changing Korean music environment.

[News] Se7en inspected the phones of G Dragon & Taeyang when they trainees

Singer Se7en appeared on KBS 2TV's "All-Night Variety Nocturnal" on Sep. 13. Se7en suggested that they donate their blood for this episode and so the singer and the program's five MCs took a time of self-reflection before extracting their blood.

Se7en said there's nothing for him to reflect on because he hasn't done anything bad. He rather proposed that they share good deeds they have done. However, if the others did not agree it was good deed, the person must eat garlic rice cake as a penalty.

MCs Jang Hang-jun, Sin Dong-yeob and Yun Jong-sin ended up eating the rice cakes first as the other cast would not recognize their stories as good deeds.

Se7en was less confident, saying he hadn't done a good thing either. Then Gill mentioned a text message incident involving Se7en and G-Dragon.

Se7en then opened up about a story going back years when he was a trainee in his middle school years and Big Bang members G-Dragon and Taeyang were in elementary school. Se7en said that as their senior, whenever he met them, he would inspect their cell phones to check on contacts and text messages. He said that what he did, checking their schedule and personal relations, was good because he was worried for them.

But MCs Sin and Yun argued it was a bad thing, violating their private lives, to which Se7en quickly acknowledged, "On second thought I guess it wasn't a good thing after all," and picked up a piece of garlic rice cake.

But what he picked was not the garlic kind but a sweet strawberry piece. Se7en beamed, "It's so tasty." Sin said, "That coincidence shows that your cell phone inspection was really out of a good heart."

Despite the heavy rain, 159 people gathered to donate their blood, and 62 of them were diagnosed as adequately fit to give blood.

The MCs and Se7en also took part and Sin and Jang gave their blood. The others who were determined to but were not in an ideal state to give blood that day instead wrote a pledge to donate blood some other day when they were medically fit.

The man who is fantasized by all noonas around the world, reveals his jealousy of Jung Yong Hwa and SNSD maknae Soohyun who are currently a make believe couple on "We Got Married".

During a recent interview with MBC's "Section TV" that also showed footage from Geun Suk's recently wrapped up Asian tour which ended last September 4 in Seoul. Jang Geun Suk stated " I am jealous; if I had someone that I loved at the moment, I would like to get married as soon as possible… tomorrow."

He aslo mentioned his ideal types which were Jeon In Hwa, Han Hye Jin and Soo Ae.

Also during his interview, he shared what he always carries with him during vacations. Jang stated "I have a slightly perverted personality. I carry around four laptops, one for internet, one for watching movies, one for editing, and another as a backup." A reporter then asked him, "Is the backup laptop for porn?".Care to take a guess what he answered?

"I keep all my porn on a separate hard drive…" Which made his fans laugh! God, I would too if I had watched his interview. I'm surprised and impressed on Geun Suk's deep and 100% honesty. If this were to be asked by another celeb, do you think he or she would be honest about this?




Jang Geun Suk was also confirmed to be one of the male lead on the upcoming drama "Mary Skipped a Curfew" with Moon Geun Young. I'm very excited to see Geun Suk's amazing acting once again!

MBC broadcasted a special Horror episode of We got married, which was aired September the 18
The Three couples Adam couple, Yongseo couple, and Khuntoria couple were set a challenge for the survival of the 'Strongest couple battle', where they had to encounter various spooky encounters.

Right from the start of the activity you could see in Victoria's face that she was quite nervous and afraid. She lets out a small whiny scream at a spooky noise whilst they are waiting for the challenge to start.

As they enter the room, Victoria walks closely behind Nichkhun with her arms clutched around his waist as he leads her the way forward. All of a sudden a grandma ghost pops out in front of the Khuntoria couple, but Nichkhun however looked very cool and composed in front of it and they both bow towards it.

Still very close to each other they enter another room, where they have to sit and take a photo, but behind them a ghostly hand appears and touches Victoria's back where she lets out an even higher pitched scream, Nickhun heroically thwarts the hand away.

Nichkhun is protecting his wife like a very good husband through out the whole show. Check out the episode for even more fun filled creepy happenings.

Hongki revealed his hair on KBS's 2TV Night Star on the 19th.

Yoon Doo Joon of Beast confessed that 'I became a singer for I was inspired by Bigbang.'

He was the guest of SBS 'Strong Heart' on the holiday special episode and it will be broadcasted on 21st, Sept. 'I became a singer because of Bigbang,' he said which aroused curiosity from the fellow guests.
He offered a big smile to us in 'Strong Heart' when he answered the questions.

From elementary school to high school, Yoon Doo Joon was a football player. He recounted his past in the programme. From elementary school until junior high school, he had been a football player and he even played in the National Soccer Team 2. The MC asked why he quit sports and became a singer. 'I knew Japanese singer since I was small but I think it was none of my business until I saw Bigbang,' he answered.

A few years ago, the student happened to watch the pre-debut documentary of Bigbang and was shocked after watching it. He then unveiled a surprising debut story of his own in the program. The episode will be aired at 23:05 on 21st.
