[News] SungKyunKwan Scandal Releases Poster Of Jalgeum Quartet Vs Jjilgeum Quartet

KBS Monday-Tuesday drama is drawing attention for its new poster of Park Yoochun, Park Min Young, Song Joong Ki, and Yu Ah In of the 'Jalgeum Quartet' (Jalgeum: Word from the novel describing a man so handsome that women's hearts stop even when all he does is walk past them) as well as their scary(?) SungKyunKwan seniors Jun Taesu, Kang Sung Pil, Kim Dong Yoon and Chae Byung Chan of the 'Jjilgeum Quartet'.

Jun Taesu, who plays the role of head of Jjilgeum and student body president Ha In Soo, stated, "The biggest charm that separates the Jjilgeums from the Jalgeum quartet is "laughter". I believe their charm comes from being bad guys who aren't hated but give the viewers something to laugh about."

Kang Sung Pil, who plays Lim Byung Choon, also added that, "The charm of the Jjilgeum quartet is their humanity. The Jalgeum quartet, with their good looks and intelligence, may be people to look up to but they can also be people others feel jealous towards. Viewers may feel closer to the Jjilgeum quartet because they're the kind of characters you could bump into in your neighborhood and comfortably strike up a conversation with."

YTree Media representative Noh Yoon Ae stated, "Though they are divided by the names Jalgeum and Jjilgeum, they are all characters who can represent the healthy and bright energy of youth at the SungKyunKwan campus. We believe the poster will add to the fun of the drama, which is progressively becoming more interesting and enjoyable."

4minute's Jiyoon recieved a surprise proposal from Infinite.

On MBC's Youth Variety 'Bouquet' Jiyoon showed off her cute charms which captured Infinite's Leader Sunggyu's heart who was also present that day.

Whilst singing a soft ballad, Infinite's leader Sunggyu gave a bouquet to his ideal type Jiyoon which made the whole studio jealous. Jiyoon looked really surprised at Sunggyu's brave confession as she didn't think he would come to her. But she showed off her cute charms and showed a little bit of her heart too.

[News] KARA, amidst controversy for selling t-shirt with profanity!

The last news of the day~ is about the online shopping mall run by KARA that is in the middle of a controversy! It's because pictures of t-shirts with profanity on it worn by Ku Ha-ra and Kang Ji-young were posted on the website! The netizens who saw the t-shirts criticized the group for being careless enough to sell shirts that have 'words that are even banned in broadcasting.'

The shopping mall representative made an official apology on the website, and stopped selling the shirt immediately. KARA's online shopping mall was the top 4 shopping mall operated by a celeb within 2 months of their opening.

However, since most of the visitors and customers are KARA's fans who are mostly in their teens, it's disappointing to see this occur. We hope that this incident allows KARA to become more cautious even in minor details in the future!

[NEWS] Jang Keun-suk: The prince of charms

On the afternoon of September 5, the "2010 Jang Keun-suk Asia Tour The Last in Seoul" took place in Korea. In front of the fans from various countries in Asia including Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan, Jang Keun-suk, who appeared dressed like Steve Jobs with his black turtleneck and jeans, gave a fancy prensentation on himself for over 40 minutes. From how he was crowned the first boy to win a contest in 1995 picking the prettiest child in the country, to how he remains stubborn about "not getting a six pack on the abs despite continued demand for it," to his pride in being able to say with his very own lips that he used to be a 'fresh handsome boy' during his teens, Jang's unique eloquence in speaking had a charm about it which was not boring to listen to even for the viewer who is not a fan. The moment where he confesses, "My hair will get messed up if I put on this mask but I did it. [Raises voice] And it was for you!" shows the pinnacle of his showmanship.

The reason that he can even make his show off lines such as "Many people say 'Jang Geun-suk's cute abs' but I'm only interested in having an S-line" or "The streets of Hong Kong have been blocked several times because of me" not sound annoying is because he knows in what light people see him as well as it also being his talent to be able to continuously makes jokes out of those remarks. It indeed was a fan meeting 'of, by and for Jang Keun-suk.' It is a Jang Geun-suk-ness which cannot be felt unless you have not been there.

[News] Infinite and Teen Top for showdown performing to Rain’s song on MBC ‘Flower Bouquet’

Idol groups Infinite and Teen Top will be doing a showdown performing to Rain's songs.
Coming 12th September on MBC variety show 'Flower Bouquet', the 2 groups will be appearing as guest appearances and will be showing off each members' special talents through singing and dancing performances.

And in the midst, both groups did performances of Rain's songs. Infinite will perform 'Love Song' while Teen Top will perform 'Rainism'.
