Stunning new posters for Proof Posted: 11 Sep 2010 06:29 AM PDT The official posters are out for the latest Korean adaptation of David Auburn’s play Proof, starring Kang Hye-jung and Lee Yoon-ji. Both actresses are featured in the same concept, and they look amazing. Sometimes I wish I could jaunt to Seoul for dinner and show. Sigh. I know I just wrote about this, but the posters were too gorgeous. Had to share. (...) © girlfriday for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 10 Sep 2010 08:20 PM PDT Face off time! Except Seol Hee has bigger problems than just seeing her ex and his gal pal again. She has to find a way to save the marketplace, get the band ready for their stage debut, find a new guitarist, and deal with Tae Hyun’s lovelorn stares. What’s a girl to do?! The above photo is in honor of the lesser known kiddo of the series, who probably appeared for the most amount of time in this episode than anytime else. 2010 Seoul International Drama Awards Posted: 10 Sep 2010 03:50 PM PDT The Seoul International Drama Awards were held on September 10 and hosted by KBS, awarding the winners from a pool of 172 entries from 43 countries. Sort of an odd list of winners, I thought. (I mean, Chuno alongside The Last Days of Lehman Brothers alongside NCIS?) Not that there’s anything wrong with any of those projects, but who’d've thought they’d ever make it to the same awards show. Random. But no matter: On to the winners! Lee Jung-jun misses film events for Runaway Posted: 10 Sep 2010 01:00 PM PDT Filming on action drama Runaway (or Plan B) has moved to the Philippines, and Lee Jung-jin hurried himself there on the 5th to join the rest of the crew. It’s been a packed few months for Lee, who was so busy that he had to pass up some previously planned appearances for his new drama. He’d had scheduling conflicts and was forced to skip promotional activities for his new action film 해결사, or The Fixer, such as a press preview for the film. He won’t even been in the country when it opens today, and plans instead to make a promo appearance sometime after the release. The Fixer is Lee Jung-jin’s first crack at a villainous role; it contrasts with his previous image as well as his Runaway role as a detective who tracks Rain and Lee Na-young throughout a number of major Asian cities. Posted: 10 Sep 2010 08:30 AM PDT Ah, the eternal kdrama conundrum. Go for the perfect meanie who needs to be convinced of your worth, or the loyal lackey who already knows it? And of course, the answer (in a drama) is always the opposite of the one we’d advocate in real life. Funny how television can romanticize the unromantic, and vice versa.
