Korean girl group 4Minute will make an appearance in a Japanese MC, Moe Oshikiri's program. Shizuka Kondo will also appear in the program. The title for the program is "Seoul of Love". Moe Oshikiri will talk with 4Minute about Seoul and ask 4Minute about their experiences and feelings in Japan besides only promoting their newest Japanese single.


The program will start on Sunday (26th September) at 10:00 a.m. The 4Minute girls will also make a performance of "Muzik" and "I My Me Mine".

4minute's Kwon Sohyun and SHINee's Onew have risen to the top in a recent game for a Chuseok special to decide the strongest idols in games.

MBC Chuseok Special 2010 Youth Alggagi, which aired the morning of the 23rd, were found to be the winners of the competitions after competing with other males and females.

In the finals, SHINee's Onew competed against Super Junior's EunHyuk while 4minute's Sohyun went head to head with f(x)'s Luna, with Onew and Sohyun placing first.

The game consisted of flicking small round game pieces with one's finger at the opponent's pieces, hoping to knock them off the board without your own piece falling. Sohyun and Onew proved to be the masters of the game, showing their smarts and charms.

[News] CNBLUE visits Taiwan, the members reveal each other's secrets

South Korean stylish male band CNBLUE are having their first visit to Taiwan. A press conference was held today in Taipei, to celebrate their new album winning a double platinum. The members played a quick question and answer game on stage; leader Jung Yong Hwa took the opportunity to expose the other members' embarassing stories, leading to laughter from the fans.

It is the first time CNBLUE are promoting in Taiwan. In the afternoon during the press conference, they played a quick question and answer, leading the members to joke about and expose each other's secrets. Bassist Lee Jung Shin was asked of his feelings of the other members. He praised guitarist Lee Jong Hyun for being a very bright person. As for drummer Kang Min Hyuk, since the two are good friends, he doesn't have any special feelings.

When Lee Jung Shin spoke about Jung Yong Hwa, he said that he is just like an older brother. However, Jung Yong Hwa deliberately countered, and said that Lee Jung Shin saying this means that he has no other charms, and jokingly told Lee Jung Shin, "I didn't really have any feelings when I saw you for the first time anwyay, I just thought that you were really tall!"

September 24th, MBC 'The Day of Good Mood (기분좋은 날)' will take fans to sit on the aircraft together with the artists of SM Entertainment and show behind the scenes of the trip to LA for SM TOWN.

MBC Chuseok special drama 'Housewife Kim Kwang Ja's Third Activity' received favourable reviews from the viewers. Actress Yang Mi Kyung, male group MBLAQ's Lee Joon (Lee Chang Sun), Kim Gab Soo, Han Bo Bae's impressive masterpiece acting gained positive response.

This one-act play was prepared by hit MBC drama 'My Name is Kim Sam Soon' director Kim Yoon Chul PD.

'Housewife Kim Kwang Ja's Third Activity' is about episode where an ordinary 40's middle-age woman who likes a pretty idol star in his 20's and learned some basics about computers in order to be active in the fanclub. The main character Kim Kwang Jae was no doubt Yang Mi Kyung, Lee Joon and MBLAQ members also appeared.

Viewers in particular commented the famous line "Instead of living to save face, I will live by following the truth" and "It's so touching" and such responses.

MBC Wed-Thurs drama Playful Kiss has recorded its highest ratings of all time.

On the 23rd, according to AGB Nilson Media Research Center, Playful Kiss who aired its 7th episode on 22nd September recorded ratings of 6.3%.

As compared to the drama's last episode aired last week with 2.8%, it has now increased by 3.5%. For other dramas during the same timing slot, they were replaced by Chuseok special movies except for Playful Kiss which was scheduled to continue as per normal, which attracted the attention of everyone if its ratings will improve or not.

On the other hand, during the same timeslot, movie 'Sworn Brothers' broadcasted through KBS2 TV recorded 12.5% ratings, whilst 'Haeundae' telecasted through SBS recorded 13.6% of ratings.

[NEWS] 100917 2AM to perform at Asia Song Festival

Top Korean entertainer Rain and idol groups 2AM and Kara will be performing at the Asia Song Festival at Seoul Olympic Stadium on Oct. 23, the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange said Friday.

They will be joining Korea's leading female singer BoA and stars from another six countries in Asia, including Japanese girl group AKB48 and Thai singer FILM. AKB48 consists of 48 female singers and they have their own theater in Akihabara in Tokyo, where they perform once every weekday. FILM participated in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics representing Thailand.

Other participants include Chinese singer Jane Zhang and Malaysian singer-songwriter Michael Wong. Zhang is known to be capable of reaching highest register of the human voice, while Wong won over 30 awards in Asia for his breakthrough album "Fairy Tale" in 2005.

Started in 2004, the Asia Song Festival has been aiming to create a "common cultural bond" by establishing a site of cultural exchange and "extend Asia's creative potential." The event is co-hosted by the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange and the city of Seoul, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This year, 14 artists from six Asian countries are participating.

Kim Young-hoon, president of the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, said this year's event was especially meaningful as Seoul will host the G20 summit in November.

"We'd like to create a cultural bond of 'one Asia' and ultimately strengthen the competitive power of the global music market," he said.

Admission is free of charge and tickets can be downloaded from the event's website. During the event UNICEF will hold a collection for children in Pakistan suffering after the recent flood disaster.

Being one of the older idols and one of the ones to have stuck around longest with SM Entertainment, he has quite a few stories to tell about H.O.T, Shinhwa, idol groups that are popular these days... we also get an insight into the very strict training of SM Entertainment the way it was back then, thoughts and feelings about crazy stalker fans, acting in dramas, dating in the entertainment industry and how tough life can get for everyone involved.

He also opens up a little about the circumstances surrounding the H.O.T's sudden split. A very interesting look into the idol world from the view of one of the veteran idols, complete with embarrassing photos and stories.
