[News] JayWalkers donate blood donor registration cards and rice cakes to Korean Leukemia Association

This time, Park Jaebum fans helped children with leukemia.

On the 1st on the Leukemia Association of Korea home page site (http://www.soaam.or.kr/), an official message regarding Park Jaebum fans' donation was posted.

They uploaded pictures of the rice cake the fans sent in, and added the message, "The rice cakes and official donor registration cards have arrived to our office. Like before, Park Jaebum's fanclub have done a good deed under the celebrity's name, and displayed a gracious side of the club."

During Park Jaebum's fan meet at Korea University on August 28 and 29, the charity events that took place were: 1000 Won donations to the Disabled Sports Association, recyclable mobile phone donations to Good Neighbours, blood donor registration cards to the Korean Leukemia Association, transportation card donations to Good Neighbours, and rice wreath donations to the Sports Council of the Disabled.

The Leukemia Association continued, "The J-Effect (JayWalkers) collected 514 blood donor registration cards as well as a great box of delicious rice cakes. We hope that in the future, the good deeds of the J-Effect could soon be a good role model for many other fan clubs. Once again, we thank you for your interest and love for children with leukemia."

[News] Rivalry between Khuntoria and Yongseo fans heat up WGM2

MBC's Saturday variety program WGM Season 2 is suffering from a few side effects despite its high popularity. With the addition of idols and girl group members in each of the three couples, fans have began proxy wars and are slandering one another.

WGM2 currently consists of 2AM's Jo Kwon and BEG's GaIn, CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa and SNSD's Seohyun, and f(x)'s Victoria and 2PM's Nichkhun. Season 1 consisted of solo singers and actors but the show was met with a high jump in viewer ratings once idols began appearing on the show.

According to AGB Nielson Media, WGM2's episode on the 4th won the viewer ratings race by recording 11.1%, the top in its time slot with KBS 2TV's Star Golden Bell recording 5.3% and SBS's Star Junior Show recording 6.5%. WGM2 has consistently recorded 11% in viewer ratings, a comfortable cushion proving its position as MBC's Saturday variety program.

However, although the idol couplings are bringing up the ratings, the side effects are also a force to be reckoned with. Jo Kwon and GaIn are the leaders of the WGM2 popularity and have dropped out of the fandom warfare, leaving the Seohyun-Yonghwa couple fans versus the Nichkhun-Victoria fans in an overheating opposition battle.

The focus of the conflict lies in the issue of the amount of broadcast times each couple receives. Three couples must be fit into a limited amount of time, causing fans to bicker over which couple is 'eating up' the most amount of time. This was also one of the reasons Jo Kwon and GaIn couple fans opposed the addition of Seohyun and Yonghwa.

When the episode on the 4th was broadcast, the message boards for WGM2 were filled with posts stating, "The PD is a Khuntoria anti," "Can the Khuntoria fans please stop badmouthing the other couples," and "If you're going to slander our couple, at least know what you're talking about."

Each fandom has badmouthed the other by saying they only watch the show for their own couple and have even gone as far as to badmouth the other couples or make requests to the producers to cut back the broadcast times for the other couples.

A large amount of fans are also requesting a peace by asking that everyone support each other as WGM2 fans.

The SBS variety show PD who was caught calling idol groups 2PM, 2AM and SHINee 'trash' had apologised for his statement.

Kim PD wrote on his Twitter on 4th September, "Twitter is not a private space after all! I am sorry for those who were unhappy with my comment of 'trash'. I hope you will understand that this is just a comfortable joke amongst colleagues hehe".

He added, "2PM, 2AM and SHINee are definitely not trash. They are precious guests to our programs hehe".

Kim PD had wrote on his Twitter recently regarding questions about the ChuSeok special program, "Well, we will probably have 2PM, SHINee and 2AM these trash down to be featured on the show hehehe," which in exchanged earned the angry responses from the idols' fans.

Representative idol girlgroups KARA and 4Minute show off their close friendship.

The 2 groups were guest appearances on MBC youth variety show 'Flower Bouquet' aired on 5th September. On the show that day, the MCs asked 4Minute if they see KARA as their rivals since recently KARA has also joined the Kpop stars in their debut in the Japanese music scene. 4Minute youngest member SoHyun said, "We even went to eat ddeobboki with KARA. We frequent the ddeobboki village with KARA."

HyunA also added, "Even though we advanced into the Japanese music scene first, but seeing KARA become famous in the Japanese music scene makes us happt too."

Meanwhile, on the show, the 2 groups have a little showdown of their Japanese language which they are picking up for their Japanese promotions.

FT. ISLAND member Lee Hongki recently uploaded a cute (change of hairstyle) photo garnering much interest from fans.

On the 5th, he uploaded this picture, saying:

Back in Korea ^^ This photo is taken because of my new hairstyle.

With releasing their latest single, Love Love Love, Lee Hongki decided to change his hair color to expose a different side of him, causing much positive discussion amongst fans.

T-ara's Jiyeon: "My older brother likes Hyomin unni" surprise confession

T-ara's Jiyeon talked about her twin-like older brother.

On the upcoming broadcast shown on the 4th, during SBS 'HahaMongShow''s corner 'Umma is asking', T-ara's dorm was revealed. They had also went to Kangreung as a vacation with Haha and MC Mong, where the T-ara members had an enjoyable time reading the letters of their close family members' requests.

Jiyeon received a request letter from her older brother, then revealing "Oppa keeps asking me to introduce him to Hyomin unni", causing Hyomin to show an awkward smile to the sudden confession.

The members mentioned "Jiyeonnie has video calls with her brother over 10 times a day" to which Haha jokingly commented "He's doing that to get to see Hyomin".

Ex-Super Junior Hangeng openly states, "Heechul remains to be my best friend," for a Chinese article.

As the previous member of SJ, Hangeng was the only foreigner and didn't know any Korean. Heechul was his first friend and roommate, taking good care of Hangeng both on work and usual life.

Hangeng said: He is my best friend. we lived together and shared every word with each other.

They were always staying together on shows, kissing and giving love performance. Heechul was hurt most badly when Hangeng quitted. The concert in Beijing this January was the first one without Hangeng. Heechul was crying heavily when singing the song .

It is the first time that Hee's fans have seen Heechul crying in concert. Hangeng has more chances aftering leaving SJ, and Heechul is glad for that. Heechul also talked about the story that he taught Hangeng lyrics of Korean songs in the broadcast YS.

Their friendship (affections) never dies. Hangeng visited Korea for 2 days, shooting MV of <飛蛾撲火>, but he was too busy to invite Heechul. They didn't meet until Heechul specifically joined him

Stated by Hangeng, Heechul is his best friend which would never change. Han's Mum is a good cook especially for dumplings, Hangeng hopes to invite Heechul to Mum's restaurant and have a try.

[News] SHINee’s Comedic Acting Challenge in ‘Honey Pot’ 100904

SHINee made an appearance in the MBC comic variety 'Honey Pot-;Music Diary' I Became a Friend' that will air on the 5th.

Appearing as Kim Na-Young's younger guy [interest], SHINee's Minho reenacted a good scene from a drama romance, and appearing as Ahn Youngmi's counterpart Jonghyun perfectly played his cute younger guy role.

SHINee, who displayed a cute younger guy image, skillfully showed off their comedic acting, receiving laughs from those witnessing the recording.

Also because of their busy schedule, SHINee was only able to record at night, however it was said that their fun attitude at the recording captured the hearts of the engaged noonas and of course the production crew.

The comic teacher-student love relationship played by Minho and Na-young, Jonghyun, as a fun date from a friend's younger brother, and Youngmi's tragic love life are gathering lots of anticipation.

Airs the 5th at 9:25 AM.
