Far Eastern Tribe Records, 4Minute's official label in Japan released several information about the group's first-ever official Japanese Album to be released on December 15, 2010!

They stated:

"4Minute has just finished recording all their songs for their upcoming Japanese Debut Album entitled: DIAMOND. It is a compilation of new edgy sounds from the girls that would definitely be highly anticipated by the fans."

The album will be available in 2 versions that differs from its covers and special content:

Normal Edition: 2800 yen (tax in)
Limited Edition: 3200 yen (tax in) + 52 gorgeous pages of the girls in a Photobook + DVD with 4MVs.

[News]Girls Generation to Appear in Court to Testify on ‘Slave Contract’

Girls Generation will attend court to testify on the case regarding Dong Bang Shin Ki's "slave contract" with their agency, and their testimony seems to have become a turning point for the current controversy on the slave contract.
The star girl group "Girls Generation" will attend the court of the Fair Trade Commission in the beginning of next month. They will testify on the truth behind the "slave contract" accusation, which has become a heated controversy after being provoked by the late actress Jang Ja Yeon's suicide and star group Dong Bang Shin Ki's exclusive contact. Girls Generation originally had planned to attend the Fair Trade Commission at the end of this month, but their agency SM Entertainment (hereinafter refer to SM ENT) had requested to postpone the timing to prepare more evidential documents, so their appearance in court had been delayed to the beginning of December.

They would come to court not to testify on their own agency contract, but to make a statement about the "slave contract" accusation of Dong Bang Shin Ki, who had belonged to the same agency. In the beginning of this year, Dong Bang Shin Ki's fan club had requested the Fair Trade Commission to find out the truth concerning the "slave contract" by SM ENT while asserting that SM ENT had abused their position over Dong Bang Shin Ki and given disadvantages to their singers. When taking into account the fact that Girls Generations is the most popular girl group not only in the domestic market, but also in other countries including Japan, their testimony in the court of the Fair Trade Commission seems likely to have a huge influence on the judgment on many entertainment agencies' "slave contract" accusations.
But the specific members who will appear in court and whether they will all come together or not has reportedly not yet been decided. A person in the Fair Trade Commission said on November 15, "We think that it would be very meaningful to have the statement made by Girls Generation, which is the biggest star girl group in Korea, about the reality of exclusive contracts between entertainment agencies and entertainers. SM ENT also had the same opinion with us, so they had let Girls Generation testify in court."
But it seems Girls Generation will not make a statement against their agency SM ENT by saying that there will be any possibility of engaging in a "slave contract," so the final verdict by the Fair Trade Commission has drawn attention. A person in the Fair Trade Commission said, "We know that many entertainment agencies made a contract with applicants who hope to become entertainers, and they had signed the minimum ten year contract period (seven years as a trainee and more than three years after their debut). As the court already regards the agency contract with more than a ten-year contract period as a problematic contract, we will examine thoroughly whether the agency had made a 'slave contract' or not by taking the Girls Generations' statement into account." He added, "After we finish our own investigation and finish reviewing the document to be presented by SM ENT, we will decide the time and place that Girls Generation needs to attend to make their statement."

Since the withdrawal of MC Mong on his shows  due to military services charges,  KBS' Happy Sunday's One Night Two Days was left with five members. In late October, the show's PD, Na Young Sung, said that the show will be adding an unpredictable 6th member soon. Earlier today, Edaily reported that the 6th member has finally been decided but it is uncertain whether he will be introduced this year or next year. Will the new member be one of those requested by fans like Lee Jung or Kim C?

In this month's issue of High Cut Korea, f(x)'s Sulli, Victoria and Krystal posed in a fun and simple photo shoot. The photo shoot boasted almost no props. Only a white sofa which gave off a feeling of homeliness, a giant candy cane, a camera, a bag, a teddy bear, and of course, mustaches.
The three girls showed their playful sides through the photoshoot in Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans. From head to toe, Sulli, Victoria and Krystal were stylishly dressed for winter. The colour scheme seemed to be similar to TOP GIRL and GUCCI's, with loads of shades of brown.

Cube Entertainment, known for their new artists such as BEAST, 4minute and G.Na is being rumored to be working on a new girl group with 7 members.

On the 15th of November, Cube Entertainment released BEAST's "Beautiful" MV and in the part drama music video it can be seen that a group of girls with 7 members were seen dancing and also a member of which is part of the drama.

Much attention were placed on the 7 girls as netizens are speculating that they will be debuting soon.

In this situation, Cube Entertainment said their official statement on the 16th of November, "In the music video of BEAST, 7 trainees participated in it and we are receiving a lot of inquiries about them. Yes it is true that they are trainees under our agency however we have not reached a decision for them to debut soon. We are still thinking whether to debut them as a group, individuals, or actresses."

Meanwhile, BEAST will be making a comeback this coming 19th of November via KBS Music Bank.

[News] The Two Teams of TVXQ Will Meet Again in Music Industry, JYJ and Dong Bang Duo

Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun, and Youngwoong Jaejoong had started their activities under the name JYJ earlier this year and now the rest of Dong Bang duo U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin who are still under SM Entertainment are going to live the name TVXQ with their upcoming comeback activities. According to one official of music industry, currently the two members are finalizing their new album work, and are busy with dance practice accordingly. The rest of concepts such as costumes and hair styles are progressing into final discussion therefore it's most likely possible for the comeback to hold in sometime next month.

U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin already started to hint public about their comeback by launching a new song 'Maximum' during their performance in SMTOWN Live in last August. At the event, the two members were introduced as Dong Bang Shin Ki, clearly showed that the duo comeback will have connection to TVXQ original music characteristic unlike JYJ who tries to differentiate their music from those in the TVXQ days.

[News] Lee Seung-gi to hold concert this weekend

Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi will hold a concert this weekend, according to his agency Hook Entertainment on Tuesday.

A press release from Hook announced that Lee will hold his concert titled "2010 Lee Seung-gi Hope Concert in Seoul" at the Olympic Stadium on November 21.

Lee has planned various events for his show including a parade of his hit songs with a brass band and orchestra, a special joint performance with Korean rock band Boohwal, and taking the stage to sing the songs from SBS TV series "My Girlfriend Is Gumiho" as his character Cha Dae-woong as well as putting on a magic show.

Lee, 23, made his debut as a singer after being discovered and trained for two years by Korea's top female vocalists Lee Sun-hee. He released his debut album "The Dream of a Moth" in 2004 featuring his first single "Because You're My Girl," which gave a major boost to his popularity and made him an overnight sensation.

He expanded his career into acting with a role in MBC's sitcom "Nonstop 5" in 2005 and became a household name in Korea after starring in "The Infamous Chill Sisters" and rose to fame throughout Asia last year through hit SBS series "Brilliant Legacy."

SNSD get's their animal look a likes!

On an online community, a netizen posted a photo which was posted, "What animal does SNSD members take after?" and the photo is garnering much attention from netizens.

In the photo, the members of SNSD get their animal look a likes, each member get's a couple of animals that looks similar to them and by combining these animals it becomes the animal equivalent look a like of the girls.

SNSD Taeyeon is close to being kangaroo-rabbit like while Jessica is like a persian cat. SeoHyun is like a parrot and the other member's look a like are shown.

Netizens commented, "They really do look a like!", "The girls are exceptionally cute and really do resemble a cat for Jessica" showing good response to the photo.

It has been known that KARA has topped the real time charts on the 15th of November with their impressive album sales for their new mini album "Jumping".

Hanteo released the music sales chart in real time on the 16th and KARA was number 1 for "Jumping" beating BEAST's "Lights go on again", SHINee's "Hello" and 2ne1's "Cant Nobody".

Preparing for their comeback in Korea, their music video has already been released showing a huge reaction from fans and their new album which is receiving a lot of downloads on various music sites showing a good response for their comeback in Korea marking this a success.

Also, their "Jumping" which was released in Japan at the same time as their 2nd Japanese Single rose to the 2nd spot in the Daily Charts in Oricon after debuting 5th on the 10th of November.

Meanwhile, KARA will be making their comeback stage on the 20th of November on MBC "Music Core" and on the 21st on SBS "Inkigayo" and start their full scale activities.

Recently, a parody photo made by a fan has been attracting a lot of attention.

On an online community, a photo was uploaded by a fan where SNSD leader Taeyeon is being sold in G Market for a price that is unreachable, her price is 1 infinity billions of won and also a topic was seen where there is a "Taeyeon insole" that will automatically make you 160 cm tall making netizens laugh.

This was a fan made photo and was a parody for G Market, an online mall. Also, the comments on the post by fellow SNSD members were funny. Sunny was asking if she can get more of the insoles and the other members are thinking this was a good gift for sunny.
