Why will Go Joo-won be a public service worker in the military?

Go Joo-won’s agency,Open-World,announced earlier that he will be entering the Nonsan Training Camp on November 18th.

After four weeks of basic military training, he will serve in the army as a public service agent.

Why?

Go has been receiving rehabilitation treatment due to the weakness in his neck. So, Go has been assigned the grade four of reservist duty.

a new look for his debut solo album!

The fabulous,Park Jung-min, just released this new look for his album photo jacket. The album( to be released on November 25th) has been the great Double S secret! Jung-min still hasn’t shared his title track or album name, but at least we now know his fashion sense.

CNR Media stated the following about the album’s concept:

“The concept for his new album is sleek, manly and chic. In the past he fit the idol image but will now portray a more mature idol look.”

Personally, I love his new album attire. Does anyone know if they sell this ensemble in the ladies department? My birthday is next month, and this could be a stylish “idol” gift to myself!

"Last month, Jonghyun has been suffering continuous ligament pains in his ankle ever since a slight injury after a performance in Indonesia last month. Because of this, we have tried to minimize intense choreography in performances."

SHINee’s Jong-hyun(aka one half of the popular couple JongKyung) will be taking a break from the SHINee World. The singer’s absence during SBS’s 20th Anniversary Special made many Shawols worry. His agency,SM Entertainment, released the statement above in response to their inquiries.

Buzz reveals their 2nd member, Na-Yool

The new boy band Buzz revealed their lead guitarist Yoon Woo-hyun last week.Now, they are revealing their 2^nd member Na-Yool

He is only 19 years old and he’s the main vocalist.

Na-Yool has been getting so much attention from Kpop fans because of his voice and handsome appearance. Member Yoon Woo-hyun and member Na-Yool are going to make a special album titled "Fuzz,Buzz" on the November 16^th.

Nassun and G.O are wishing to be # “1”!

Artist Nassun and MBLAQ's member G.O are back to sing another song.

A few months ago, Nassun and G.O came together to sing a song called "O-IWI-O". They came together again to sing a new song for us, and this song is called "One".The two guys didn't release their full MV yet, but they released an audio track.

“One“ has a catchy tune to it. If you liked their previous single "O-IWI-O", then you will definitely love this song.

The controversy on Lee Jung-jin’s Twitter

Actor Lee Jung-jin,who portrays an foreign affairs investigator, in KBS 2TV’s “Fugitive Plan B” faced controversy after he retweeted two comments from fans.

The comments stated "The viewership ratings of 'Fugitive Plan B' rises because of Lee Jung Jin. So, Lee must stay alive in the show". The comments also depreciated Rain and Daniel Henney's contribution in the drama. As a result, Lee deleted the comments and responded

"You guys are right.But, everyone is being too sensitive. Now, the main focus of Rain and I is only the drama. We will not fight against the amount of exposure in the show. In fact, our teamwork is getting better from day to day".

Also, he had hoped that fans of the different idols can respect each other.

There are only a few more episodes left before this drama comes to an end. Is there anyone interested in predicting the ending?

Is Donghae Really in “Okay Daddy’s Girl”?

Guess this drama doesn’t want to depend on idol power…

Netizens are laughing over how finding Donghae in the promotions of SBS‘s coming drama “Okay Daddy’s Girl,” is something like finding a needle in the haystack.

Though the drama is featuring the acting “debut” of the Super Junior member, along with the debut of C.N Blue‘s cute drummer Kang Min-hyuk, both idols are getting little to no press along with the smallest amount of space in promotion pictures. Maybe they’re just trying not to hype the young actors up, just in case they’ll be disappointing. But most probably, the rest of the cast are already out-shining the newest batch of singers-turned-actors.

“Okay Daddy’s Girl” stars the promising and already acclaimed young actress Moon Chae-won (“Shining Inheritance”), along with Kim Tae-ho (“Pasta”), and Jeon Tae-soo (“Sungkyunkwan Scandal”), who have already gained recognition in successful dramas in the recent past.

Don’t worry Donghae, POPSEOUL! knows your having your acting debut, and we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for your yet-untapped acting potential!

“Okay Daddy’s Girl” is set to start broadcasting on the 22nd of this month, airing on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:50pm.

No Rain for 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards

If there’s no Rain (Bi), then is it really a 2010 awards show?

A representative from the J.Tune camp let media know today that Rain will not be participating nor attending the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) this year. Because of filming for the KBS2 drama “Fugitive Plan B,” Rain cannot make time for the awards show, although he was initially in the list of performers.

Being one of the biggest, most popular, and most successful acts of 2010, Kpop fans everywhere are wondering what kind of awards show it will be without the world star present. Rain will not be the only one left out. According to their severed ties with Mnet, SM Entertainment groups, including Super Junior, Girls Generation, and SHINee, will also not be participating. On the other hand, 2NE1, 2PM, and Miss A, along with others, have already confirmed they will be in present for the 2010 MAMA.

For Korea’s largest Kpop entertainment music channel, it’s a little disappointing that they are missing out many of 2010′s largest acts. Be it bad timing or politics, fans are already a little disappointed in how incomplete this year’s awards will be. They’ll probably just try to spice it up with some hype about a kiss between a young idol star and an aging idol diva… Just a guess (following the trends of 2008, 2009).

The 2010 MAMA will be held in Macau’s Venetian Hotel on the 28th. Are you still looking forward to Mnet’s end-of-the-year show?
