Choi Kang-hee manhandles Lee Seon-kyun in Petty Romance

Romantic-comedy Petty Romance sure has some silly posters, doesn’t it? Perhaps lead actress Choi Kang-hee agreed with our complaint that her co-star Lee Seon-kyun was too dressed in the last poster and decided to rectify matters. Yet, as ever, she’s way less dressed than he is…and wearing a furry onesie, at that. Sex…y?

On the upside, props to the movie for letting the girl be the aggressor. ‘Cause, let’s be honest, who among us wouldn’t manhandle Mr. Voice in just the same way?

Midas casts Jang Hyuk as its leading man

First there were rumors of heading fantasy-comedy Secret Garden, then action-drama Poseidon; now Jang Hyuk (Chuno) has reportedly chosen SBS drama Midas as his next project. The show just this week announced its leading lady in Lee Min-jung (Cyrano Dating Agency).

Midas is set in the business world — dealing with the stock exchange, mergers and acquisitions, chaebols — and will be written by high-profile writer-producer Choi Wan-kyu of high-stakes gambling drama All In and mega-popular historical drama Jumong. Lee Min-jung’s character graduates from nursing school and begins working at a large general hospital. Not too much has been revealed about her character (or how she fits in with the rest of the characters) but apparently she’ll be shedding her cute, bubbly image. (Aw.)

Song Yoon-ah plays her fashionable self in Secret Garden cameo

Song Yoon-ah has taken a bit of a break from acting since her marriage (to top actor Sol Kyung-gu) and pregnancy, so making an appearance in SBS’s Secret Garden marks her first foray back onscreen since giving birth in August. And rather than playing a character, she’ll be playing herself.
