Posted: 19 Nov 2010 05:03 AM PST Jeon Tae-soo has just come off his stint on Sungkyunkwan Scandal as resident eyeball-popping, deathbeam-glaring villain, Ha In-soo, and before he transitions into his next role, he decided to stop on by High Cut for what can only be described as…a strange idea, gone stranger. He looks like his noona Ha Ji-won dressed him up for fun in their mother’s clothes…only maybe they were both drunk at the time. He totally rocks the photo shoot, because his face is pitch perfect with every look. It’s just that the look is so…whack. Posted: 18 Nov 2010 08:35 PM PST And if we thought last episode was enough angst for us, it seems it isn’t. As Tamra speeds towards the (imposed) finale, there is a lot of ground (and emotions) to cover. Luckily, however, the necessary plot developments aren’t getting in the way of two of this show’s biggest strengths: character and relationships. The characters are still growing and changing, and this episode, some of our relationships begin their journey towards resolution. More from Yoo Ah-in’s Esquire shoot Posted: 18 Nov 2010 05:00 PM PST If yesterday’s Yoo Ah-in post taught us anything, it’s that we cannot be trusted to formulate coherent thoughts or carry on lucid discussion when in the presence of adorable new Yoo Ah-in photo shoots. Which I suspect bothers nobody, myself included. On the other hand, can we all handle TWO such instances, back-to-back like this? I dunno, he’s mighty cute… (...) © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 158 comments | Add to del.icio.us |

The 8th Korea Film Awards was a big night for the folks affiliated with dark thriller Ajusshi (aka The Man From Nowhere) and the Cannes winner (for screenplay) Poetry, both of which took home multiple awards. To wit: Ajusshi was nominated in 11 categories and won in seven, including acting awards for both its leads, Won Bin and Kim Sae-ron. Meanwhile, Poetry won three, two of which were the top honors of the night, Best Picture and Director. (...) © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 44 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Hyun Bin gets a makeover for Cosmo Posted: 18 Nov 2010 10:19 AM PST …And girlfriday dies. I mean, I pretty much like him in everything but those sparkly tracksuits (although the comedy factor is really undeniable), but hot damn if he isn’t looking ESPECIALLY awesome here. Can he please have this hair every day? And can I please help make it tousled, just so? Hyun Bin is blazing up the small screen these days with fantasy-comedy-melo Secret Garden, and in case you haven’t caught the first two episodes, you really should get on that, before everyone makes fun of you for missing out on what’s bound to be the best drama of the winter season. What’re you waiting for? (...) © girlfriday for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 127 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
