[NEWS] T-ara reveal bare-faces because of water training.

With their comeback just around the corner, T-ara reveals their bare-faces through their reality show 'Dream Girls'.


In the November 24th episode of their reality show, T-ara undergoes intense water training required for them to complete the program. They had a simulation of an emergency landing to the water, which made their make-up fade.

Jiyeon comments, "My eye make-up was smudged! My hair looked like seaweeds!". Her fake eyelashes were falling off from their position aswell. 

Eunjung, who is originally afraid of water, had the hardest time out of the girls. Although she pushed herself to finish the training, and she recieved a round of applause from the staff and crew. 

The flight attendant who was supervising T-ara commented, "Up until now, we have been training them with the basics. But now it's getting more rigoruous like this emergency landing training. But they are really determined to finish the training."

On the 23th, Kim Kyu Jong tweeted this photo of Kim Hyung Joon and teased him about it.


Many fans were shocked and jealous over this photo. Response was quite overwhelming, comments like " kissing scene is so real, but my heart is torn" are left. Kim Hyung Joon is working really hard for his musical. And probably because his efforts are noticed, most comments show understanding of fans towards him.

Q: Your specialty?
A: Swimming. Above all, I'm best with the butterfly. I also do diving.

Q: What do you want to do in Japan?
A: I've already been to Shibuya and Shinjuku, so instead of shopping I want to go to a hot spring. I want to go to Hakone or if it's in the middle of winter, I want to see Sapporo's snow festival.

Q: What beauty care do you do before sleeping?
A: I'm into rose scented bath bombs (bath powder) right now. They do have it Korea, but there is so much more variety in Japan. I love rose scented [things]!

Taeyeon

Q: What is the trend that you notice this season?
A: I'm interested in the leopard prints. If used incorrectly, you can look too mature, but if used a little as a point like in today's styling, it can be very cute!

Q: Your favorite Japanese food?
A: I really like hiyashi chuuka (Chinese-styled cold noodles). Compared to Korean-style cold noodles, the different soy sauce taste is refreshing and addicting!

Q: What beauty care do you do before sleeping?
A: Mmm, I don't really do anything, but I clean my face with cold water. Working all day and then coming home, my skin gets very dry, so when I wash my face with cold water, the elasticity returns.

Hyoyeon

Q: Your specialty?
A: I love dancing! Even during the little breaks during filming or recordings, I dance.

Q: What do you want to do your best in hereafter?
A: Talking. Even when I think of what to say in my head, when it comes to that moment, it doesn't come out as well. When the other members are being covered and while watching the monitor, I study and think "Ah, that's how it's said."

Q: The latest Japanese phrase you remembered?
A: "Sa, Kongaragarimasu ne~" (Well, it's all mixed up.) When I'm doing an interview in Japan, I use it often (laughs).

Jessica

Q: What kind of fashion are you into now?
A: The military style outfits like we had for "Genie!" Not only is it cute, it also has a cool style.

Q: Your favorite Japanese food?
A: I have a sweet tooth, but I love Japanese sweets! Bread, cake, snacks... All the things I have eaten so far were delicious.

Q: Your specialty?
A: Piano and English. I was raised in America, so English is my big strong point!

Q: What do you want to do your best in hereafter?
A: Singing. I want Japanese fans to hear more and more of my voice!

Yoona

Q: What is your favorite fashion item?
A: A gorgeous necklace. I think necklaces are important items in deciding the style, so I definitely wear them.

Q: What made an impression this time coming to Japan?
A: Sukiyaki and inari sushi. Both were delicious!

Q: Your specialty?
A: I wouldn't say it's my specialty, but since I had a chance to be in a drama, I'm very interested in acting. I want to try hard and be even better.

Q: What beauty care do you do before sleeping?
A: I put on a face mask. I have dry skin, so face masks are very easy and helpful item.

Q: What do you want to do in Japan?
A: One thing that will never get boring: shopping! I've been going to Shibuya a lot. When I go to Shibuya, I feel like I've come to Japan (laughs). I really like Shibuya's style.

Q: What item are you aiming to get this season?
A: Fur boots! I love fluffy things. I also like fur bags, but those are a seasonal item, so I'm at lost on which to get.

Q: The latest Japanese phrase you remembered?
A: "Sorosoro ikimashou." (It's about time to go.) We do activities in a large group, so there are a lot of times where there isn't much time. I use it quite often.

Sunny

Q: Your favorite Japanese food?
A: Ramen and pudding! I won't forget the store that my manager took me to for ramen!

Q: Your specialty?
A: Swimming. (The members around her shouted "Sunny is good at sports!") After debuting I haven't had much chance to go swimming, but there is a gym near the place we are staying at in Japan, so when there is time, I go swimming.

Q: The latest Japanese phrase you remembered?
A: "Niko niko" (smiling) and "kosho kosho." (tickle) The pronunciation is cute, so I like it.

Seohyun

Q: Your favorite Japanese food?
A: I like snacks that have red beans in it and daifuku (mochi with red bean paste inside). Also, I'm interested in foods that are good for you, so I want to try natto (fermented soybeans). I haven't tried it at all yet, so I want to try it.

Q: The latest Japanese phrase you remembered?
A: "Kodomotachi ga iu koto wo kikanakute komatteimasu." (It's troublesome that children do not listen to what you/I say.) It showed up in a Japanese textbook (laughs).

Q: What item are you aiming to get this season?
A: I want a shirt with a checkered print! Matched with a tailored jacket and booties, I want to wear it in a cool fashion.

Sooyoung

Q: What fashion item are you into for this season?
A: I like the recent trend of leopard prints. I want to use leopard print on something like today's outfit; nothing like a coat or other big clothing.

Q: The latest Japanese phrase you remembered?
A: "Zeitaku." (Extravagant) I remembered it from one of Boa's song lyrics. I like fashion, so there are a lot of things I want to buy, but I think buying things like Burberry's mouton jacket is "extravagant" (laughs).

Q: Your specialty?
A: I studied acting for about 3 years. I've appeared in movies and dramas.

[News]Shin Seunghoon was nervous when “Gee” clinched #1 for 9 weeks in a row

Recently, during the recording of tvN's interview show, "Baek Jiyeon's People Inside", veteran singer Shin Seunghoon looked back at his 20 years' singing career and revealed his love stories and untold grievances.
While talking about his 2nd album "Invisible Love", Shin Seunghoon admitted that SNSD's achievements made him feel nervous. He said, "When I saw SNSD took #1 for 9 weeks in a row, I was feeling a bit nervous". He then explained that the reason for being nervous was because one of his hits "Invisible Love" made it to Korea's record book for taking the #1 spot on a music program for 14 weeks in a row.
He added, "I hope my record will not be broken. Nowadays, the music industry moves rapidly. If a hit song only survives for a week, it will be forgotten very soon".

[News] BEAST ranks at No. 6 on Oricon chart with Japanese album

Korean idols BEAST have entered Japan's prestigious Oricon chart with their first album in the country.

The group's first Japanese album "BEAST-Japan Premium Edition," which was released yesterday, came in at No. 6 on the daily Oricon chart as of Monday. 

"BEAST-Japan Premium Edition" is composed of a special CD and DVD that features a never-before-seen video of the members. 

The boys will officially kick off their activities in the country with a showcase in Tokyo on November 27.

BEAST, composed of members Dujun, Hyunseung, Dongwoon, Gikwang, Yoseop and Junhyung, made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album "BEAST IS THE B2ST." 

The boys recently returned to the local music scene with their new album "Lights Go On Again" and have been promoting its title track "Beautiful" which has topped various online music charts since its release in early November. 

They are also preparing for their first concert "WELCOME TO BEAST AIRLINE" which will be held next month.

[News] 2AM album grabs No. 1 spot on Taiwan music chart

Korean ballad group 2AM's first full-length album "Saint o'clock" has landed on the No. 1 spot on a music chart in Taiwan.

The website for the prestigious G-Music chart showed Wednesday that 2AM's latest album "Saint o'clock" topped its weekly K-J POP chart as of November 18, just a week after the album's release in the country on November 12.

The album is 2AM's first full-length release in Korea after several singles but their first-ever release in Taiwan. The record has also gone on sale in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

Over 20 media outlets from neighboring Asian countries had turned up at the showcase for the album in Korea on October 20 where 2AM introduced the newest release and announced their plans to expand their singing career into markets overseas.

Meanwhile, "Saint o'clock" has fared well in Korea as well, with its title track "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls" taking the top slots of numerous major music charts for several weeks straight.

The group is currently preparing for a nationwide tour which kicks off at University's Hwaseong Tiger Dome on December 24. 

2AM composed of members Jo Kwon, Jinwoon, Seulong and Changmin, debuted in 2008 with single "This Song" which immediately topped Korea's music charts. 

They are known for their hit ballads including "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and "I Did Wrong" as well as having branched out into various facets of the entertainment industry such as hosting radio shows and appearing on variety programs.

10 members mixed group 'Coed School'1st album promotion showcase will be ended on the 28 Nov. Co-Ed will be on 28 Nov SBS 'Inkigayo' and perform a last public performance for their 1st album promotion showcase, after that the group will be taking a break. The future plan for Co-Ed is not set for the time being.

The Company stated that "Not because of the album promotion got some negative result or remark so decide to end the showcase"

"The song release for 1 month the result is meet the expectation, but it is because that 'T-ara' from the same company is preparing for their Comeback stage, so naturally 'Coed School' promotions have to end"

[News] NHK announces official Kohaku performer lineup

NHK has just announced the performer lineup for this year's Kohaku Uta Gassen. A total of 44 artists have been invited, with an even split of 22 on the Red Team and 22 on the White Team. 5 of them will be making their first appearance on the show, including Kana Nishino and AAA.

Some early news reports proved to be wrong: artists such as BIG BANG, KARA, and Masahiko Kondo did not make the final list.

Artists are listed in Japanese alphabetical order. The performance order has not yet been announced.

[News] Heechul transformed into SNSD’s 10th member

On November 12th, SNSD appeared on SBS Radio Power FM's "Kim Heechul's Young Street" as guests. The photos which featured DJ Heechul and the girls in various poses and expressions were uploaded and published on November 16th. In the second photo (from the top), Heechul showed no awkwardness while doing the "Hoot" pose with SNSD members. On the photo, the author who published the photo also mentioned that Heechul looks as 'pretty' as the girls and how he 'blended in' well with them.

As soon as the photos were released, netizens commented:

-"It looks as if Heechul is dancing "Hoot" on stage now"

On the 22nd of November at 8PM, the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel at Yongsan-gu Hannam-yeok held the "2010 Second Annual Korea Jewelry Awards" in the Grand Ball Room.

Hallyu celebrities Ryu Shi Won and U-Know Yunho attended the event and looked very happy after the awards ceremony took place. MUCHA's Jewelry Designer, representative Kim, was also found together with Yunho taking pictures for the media.

[NEWS] SNSD To Appear On “Music Station” Again

Popular rock band UVERworld and Korean 9-member girl group SNSD will be on TV Asahi's music program "Music Station" on November 26th. UVER will be performing their single "NO.1" which will be released on the 24th. SNSD will be performing their Japanese debut single "GENIE", which was released in September.

6 groups will appear on the program this week: UVER and SNSD will begin and JUJU, Tackey & Tsubasa, Nishino Kana and Becky♪♯ will also appear. JUJU will perform her new single, released on the 17th, "Kono Yoru wo Tomete yo". Tackey & Tsubasa will perform their new single "Ai wa TAKARAMONO", which will be released on the 24th. Nishino Kana will perform her new single released on the 3rd called, "Kimitte". Becky♪♯ will perform her new single titled, "Fuyuzora no Love Song", which will be released on December 1st.

[News] 'CF Queens' SNSD to skip 2010 Korea Advertising Conference

SNSD will be absent from 2010 Korea Advertising Conference.

The girls will be awarded the Best Advertising Models Award by Korea's Federation of Advertising Association. The conference will be held at Lotte Hotel in Songpa-gu, Seoul at 6.30pm KST on November 24th but the girls will not be attending as they are currently in Japan.

When contacted by Newsen, the organizer of the conference said in a teleconversation, "SNSD will not be attending. We are planning to convey a simple video message from them".

Meanwhile, SG Wannabe and 4minute will be participating in this event.

[News] Even with first kiss, 'Marry Me, Mary!' is expriencing low viewers rating

'Marry Me, Mary!', recorded a one digit viewers rating.

According to AGB Nilson Media Research, 5th episode of 'Marry Me, Mary!' which went on air on the 22nd, recorded 7.8%. This is 1% decrease from previous episode.
In that episode of 'Marry me, Marry!', Mary (Moon Geun-yeong), Jeong-in (Kim Jae-wook), and Moo-gyeol's (Jang Geun-seok) emotion changes have been projected. Their loveless simulation marriage caused a weird feel toward each other.

On the other hand, MBC 'Queen of Reversals' recoded 11.5%, and SBS "Giant" recorded 30.7%; they all go air at the same time.
