IRIS actor Kang Dae-song has passed away

The 33-year-old actor died in a fatal motorcycle accident.

Mr. Kang was returning home from his part-time job when he was involved in the horrific motocycle crash on October 29th. He was a close friend and roommate of celebrity Danny Ahn.

Friends of Mr. Kang stated the following about his passing:

"He was doing his best to keep a dream of being a good actor. I feel so sorry for him since he was really honest and nice guy, the fact that he couldn’t fulfil his goal."

Singer/Actor Kim Hyun-joong has stated in a recent press conference(for the special ”kiss” series) that there will be a more “intimate” love scene between the two stars in the YouTube version of “Mischievous Kiss“.

Hyun-joong stated the following about his new online series:

“There are no regulations or restrictions to what is broadcasted through YouTube. So, we’ll be able to express our affection to each other in a deeper way. Hence, you’ll get to see a more natural-looking married couple.”

As Kim Hyun-joong’s peer and fan…I do not approve! Parents will have to censor their teenagers viewing of ”Mischievous Kiss“…who would have guessed it? How dare a 24-year-old actor actually ACT like an adult!

You all know I’m joking,right?

“Mischievous Kiss” will be more loving and interesting for viewers all around the world. Maybe this time around, Baek Seung-jo will stop treating Ha-ni so mean.

The special version of “Mischievous Kiss” will air Tuesdays,Wednesdays, and Thursdays through November 16th on their official YouTube channel.

What do you think with a name like…Poseidon?

U-know Yun-ho!

Heading to the Ground’s Jung Yun-ho has been casted as character Yun-jae in an upcoming drama called “Poseidon“.He portrays a diver in Japan who travels back to Korea. Yun-jae is an “Elite Force Soldier”.Yun-ho joins the already star-studded cast featuring: Eric, Kim Ok-bin,Jin Hee-kyung,Kim Yun-seo and many others.

The upcoming drama ,”Poseidon”, centers around the life saving Coast Guard forces and their daily struggles. Details about the network and premiere date have not been released yet.

Despite the ratings, I think “Heading to the Ground” was one of the best dramas of 2009(mostly because of Yun-ho’s acting). His ability to make you believe he had lost his memory..and adapt to his unfamilar surroundings won me over. I wonder if they can play soccer in the water? Don’t be surprise if this god of the sea starts his own game underwater!

SHINee’s Jong-hyun is finally receiving the love and support he deserves from many in The SHINee World. Shawols wrote kind messages(like the ones above) to the singer. They displayed their support of his new relationship with Shin Se-kyung and some even apologized for their cruel messages they wrote to her last week. Over 1,500 fans flooded SHINee’s official website with their encouraging words.

Finally, JongKyung gets the respect they deserved all along! I have and always will be a SHINee fan. I will support SHINee’s loves all the way to number 5!

Micky Yoo-chun is even handsome in prison?

The “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” actor/singer has received a lot of attention because of the photo above.

Recently, JYJ’s Micky Yoo-chun has been starring in the hit drama “Sungkyunkwan scandal“.

In the photos, Lee Sun-joon ( Micky Yoochun’s character) was shown with a look on his distressed face while Kim Yun-hee (Park Min-young) visited him in the prison. The last episode ended with Hong Byuk-seo's injury and Lee Sun-joon's imprisonment.

Viewers are eager to know the real identity of Hong Byuk-seo. Meanwhile, a writer of the drama revealed "Lee Sun-joon pretended to be Hong Byuk-seo to protect his friend, Mun Jae-shin. Now the story will focus on how to save Sun-joon out of the jail".

After Bae Da-hye, Bobby Kim, MtoM and Yurisangja, Whee Sung is the next singer to join the original soundtrack of the SBS drama “Dr. Champ“.

Whee Sung's “My Way”was featured in Part 5 of the drama's OST. The song originally came from his fifth album which was released in 2007. Although it is considered as an old song, his unique vocals in the song manage to catch everyone's attention. This reggae style of music has a distinctive rhythm with lyrics expressing freedom and creating a lively atmosphere.Check it out…. even if you are not a fan of the drama!

Park Jung-hyun and John Park perform a duet

On October 30, 2010, Park Jung-hyun, singer known for her powerful voice, and John Park, the runner-up on the second season of Mnet “Superstar K” Season 2, performed a beautiful duet at the Seoul Yonsei University.

They sang “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat. It was Park Jung-hyun‘s first performance after leaving the entertainment industry to focus on studies for a year. Park Jung-hyun and John Park‘s voices were in perfect harmony and the audience marveled at their duet. This stage was also meaningful because Park Jung-hyun was one of the judges at the LA audition of Mnet “Superstar K” Season 2, who helped John Park move on to the next round.

At the concert, the top four contestants of Mnet “Superstar K” Season 2 got to collaborate and perform with established artists such as Park Jung-hyun, Yoon Jong-shin, Shin Seung-hoon, and the musical star, Hong Kwang-ho.

She is Jo Min-ah, the former member of the popular girl group, Jewelry.

Jo Min-ah is making a comeback to the stage after five years of starring in various musicals such as “On Air“, “Finding Kim Jong-wook“, and “Rent“. She is changing her name and working under the title of Ha-rang.

Ha-rang is promoting a digital single album titled “Standing Alone“, which will hold three songs. The three songs include “Just One Day” which is a duet song and “Still“, which the singer personally wrote lyrics for.
