2AM performs…in the subway!

Posted: 03 Nov 2010 12:26 PM PDT

What a way to start your day!

What a surprise! 2AM recently uploaded a video via me2day of a short performance they did in a subway station!

The boys are seen first receiving certificates and then even talking to the many people in the train station through the subway mics. Then the boys did what they are great at doing: singing. The group sang their new single “Like Crazy” in a capella.  Although it was a short performance, it was pretty amazing to see high-class celebrities singing in a moving train. Now that’s what you call fan-service.

2AM leader Jokwon stated, “We did this because we wanted people to listen to our song. It seemed like a good idea to perform in the subway and surprisingly, a lot of people showed up.”

Check out the epic performance below

Morning Musume Mimic Koreans

Posted: 03 Nov 2010 01:12 AM PDT

Oh my. Tanaka Reina and Kamei Eri have netizens saying, “Oh no they didn’t.”

In strange Asian-on-Asian hate, Japan girl group Morning Musume members posted these selca images “mimicking Koreans” on Tanaka Reina’s official blog, saying, “Saying you’re Korean… where? To Eri, the Korean image has this kind of feeling. It’s really a Korean boom (Koreans are popular) these days.”

Netizens are finding it strange that the pose is one that is usually associated with non-East Asian people making fun of Asians, commenting, “Just taking a picture in that pose and saying it’s Korean? I’m laughing,” and “How is this Korean?”

Others had a more angry reaction, “This isn’t mimicking, this is belittlement.”

Probably in the biggest insult to Morning Musume, many netizens are just brushing this off saying, “No matter how hard you try, you can’t do better than Girls Generation or Kara,” and “Just jealous.”

Many Korean entertainers have a lot of popularity in Japan, do you think these girl group ladies are just jealous?

[Plastic Fantastic] Park Min-young Dishes on Her Plastic Face

Posted: 03 Nov 2010 12:56 AM PDT

Sungkyunkwan Scandal” starlet Park Min-young let the cat out of the bag. She got the surgery, but what did she have done? Can you guess?

Park Min-young stated, “So there’s no mistake in what I have or haven’t had done. I’ve gotten plastic surgery.”

“In middle school, I got double eyelid surgery. My mother paid for the surgery so I could become prettier,” the young actress confessed. “I’ve gotten nose surgery. My nose became a little crooked, so around the time of my debut I received surgery.”

Known lovinly by fans for having the “looks of a goddess,” many began noticing that her elementary school pictures had quite a different “look” to them then the Park Min-young of the present. In response to the questions from the public, Park Min-young decided to just let the truth be known. The truth being, she got her eyes and her nose done, maybe the two most popular surgeries in Korea.

She also added, “While filming ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal,’ for the first time, I was worried about how my face would appear on-screen. If my forehead looked too big, or if my cheeks were too fat-looking, I had this kind of complex, but letting my complex be known, I was able to film without any hindrances. I didn’t even have to put inserts in my shoes, even though I was playing a girl-acting-as-a-guy role.”

It seems that, post-surgery, Park Min-young is a confident young actress. Does this mean the surgery was a success?

As actresses usually don’t say much about their surgeries, what do you think of Park Min-young’s bare honesty?
