Promotional events promoting boy band 2PM's first DVD release in Japan have kicked off, according to their agency JYP Entertainment on Tuesday.

A press release from JYP Entertainment (JYPE) announced Monday that they have come together with Japan's Mandoka cafe in Shibuya of Tokyo to open a 2PM Cafe, where fans who visit the store can listen to 2PM's hit songs, enjoy refreshments and receive special gifts which feature the group.

"We have done several collaboration events for K-pop and Japanese artists but this is the first time that we have received numerous inquiries about the event and people have called to make reservations a week prior to the event," a worker from the cafe was quoted as saying.

On the same day, a preview event for 2PM's DVD took place at OPUS of the Sony Building located in the Ginza district, where over 1,000 fans turned up to take pictures with life-size cutouts of the members of 2PM as well as enjoy their music and videos.

The 2PM Cafe will be open for 10 days and the preview event will be held until December 6 for the DVD titled "Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~" set for release in Japan tomorrow which will mark their official debut in the country.

They had taken top Japanese mobile music chart Recochuku by storm last week, securing the top five spots with songs "Without U," "Heartbeat," "Again & Again," "My Life 4 U" and "10 Out of 10."

[NEWS] "Comeback with 7 members" T-ara transformation in their new MV

The 7 girls of girl group T-ara appeared as party girl in their new MV "Why Are You Like This?"

The MV whose was released the 23/11 shows the 7 girls getting ready to go to a party. Then they start to dance to the music, when their youngest member JiYeon ,who acts a shy girl, is pushed by her friends to dance.

T-ara's newest addition Ryu Hwayoung attracted the attention with her retro look. She also captured everyone eyes while dancing during the chorus.

T-ara retro song have a strong feeling who is amplified by the MV. The two compositor of the song, Kim DoHoon and Lee SangHo successfully created a strong song whose displayed a addictive melody along with the electronic guitar song.

T-ara already gained a lot of fame with their two last hit "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "ICBOY" and it look like their going to follow the same path with their new song.

T-ara is supposed to have their comeback stage on KBS "Music Bank" the 3rd December.

SHINee successfully held their 1st Fan Party in Thailand on the 22nd of Nov.

They performed (in order) Ring Ding Dong, Replay, Quasimodo, Lucifer and Hello. SHINee danced for Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer while Jonghyun had to sit on a chair to sing due to his leg injury.

Before SHINee performed Quasimodo, they had a little interaction time with the Thailand fans and they had their own solo performances.

For the interaction time, SHINee made watermelon smoothies and the special thing is that they gave one cup of watermelon smoothie to 5 lucky fans.













For the Solo peformances (in order), Taemin performed Jennifer Lopez's Do it well, Jonghyun sang Lee Juk's Running in the sky, Onew sang Bee Gees' How deep is your love, Key sang Rihanna's Take a bow and Minho sang and rapped to Eun Ji Won's Moon Deuk (i'm not sure about the song).

After the solo performances, there was another Fan Interaction time. The game was called "teach SHINee to know love" where 5 chosen fans would write the word 'love' in Thai which is 'รัก' and SHINee would copy what the fans wrote and the paper with SHINee's writing would be given to the fans.

For the last section (after performing Hello), SHINee gave gifts similar to what they had in the Hello MV to the 5 lucky fans and the 5 lucky fans could also get a picture (polaraid) taken with a member. [Gifts: Taemin- Doll, Minho- Teddy Bear, Onew- bouquet of Flowers, Key- Ring and Jonghyun- Box of Something]

Just recently, T-ARA released their comeback song entitled '왜 이러니' as well as a music video for the song. Within hours of release, the song has steadily climbed the real-time music charts. As of 3:00PM KST, the song is placing at #3 on M.Net, #7 on Soribada etc.


The song was released earlier today and is already climbing fast on real-time charts. The song is expected to debut at #1 on most daily online music charts. The song may also be an all-kill song.

The beasts are coming

2PM, the most powerful boys group in Korea. What they attract people the most is the wild acrobatic performance and the overwhelming skill as singers. Their manly appeal generated a new word called "beastly idol", and the group won honorable awards one after another at Korean music awards in the end of 2009. Now, finally they're going to make a debut in Japan on November 24th.

Taecyeon
"When I first heard about our Japan debut, my heart raced. Though I'm anxious because I'm still not so good at speaking Japanese, at the same time I feel so excited for our challenge."

Wooyoung
"I heard in Japan there are 'herbivore idols'. However, I believe the reason why Japanese people starts getting interested in us is because our 'beastly idol' character. So I'd like to show them our powerful and passionate performance."

The Japan debut DVD which will be released on November 24th features music videos so that you can enjoy their performance.

Junsu
"My favorite music video is 'Without U', as we dance in the rain, and the whole visual was shot so beautifully."

"But it was very cold (laugh). Actually the shooting was hard as it was not easy to dance on the slippery floor (laugh)."

During the interview, they used a lot of Japanese words they knew. They've been studying Japanese so hard lately. What's your favorite phrase in Japanese?

"'Nandeyanen (dialect that means 'why?')' (laugh), which my friends in Osaka taught me."

"I choose 'Madamada (means 'not yet fulfilled'). I like the word as it sounds like I should try harder."

"I remember a word 'Uruse~' (means 'shut up / none of your business'), which was used by Jun Matsumoto in a drama 'Gokusen'."

[Videos] Kangin performs 'Sorry Sorry' and 'A Short Journey' at JinJoo Army Concert

We've seen news and pictures of Super Junior member Kangin active in the army and many army events. Recently pictures of him and Super Junior members surfaced. These pictures were pictures taken during his short vacation after 100 days in the military.

Yesterday, there was an Army concert held in Jin Joo, and Kangin performed in it. Although he performed alone, there were many ELFs who lent him their support as part of the audience. At this concert, he sang Super Junoir's hit song Sorry Sorry as well as A Short Journey, which is one song he sang in that is in the 4th Album, Bonamana.

[News] TVXQ VS JYJ, SM “We won’t wait anymore”

Finally SM Entertainment has to release TVXQ comeback with only 2 members namely U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin.

It's been a year since SM Entertainment released the "return" ultimatum to the three members Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and Youngwoong Jaejoong in last November.

At that time, SM Entertainment released a statement to reporters through a public press conference, "We will start the activities of TVXQ in spring 2010, we're welcoming them to comeback before then." After the previous announcement, SM who had been waiting for a year, has to formulated the comeback of TVXQ to consist only 2 members eventually.

The two members will return to music industry with a new album in spring 2011, activities schedule that ranges from Japan, Korea, and all over Asia is expected to unfold. Since TVXQ was highly popular, whether the TVXQ that only consists of 2 members is able to keep the big name of their own group starting to become a hot issue recently.

SM on the 23rd at the official website, "As been implied by the preliminary injunction rule, TVXQ activities should be held under SM. We had proposed to the three members to have activities as TVXQ, unfortunately we keep hearing nothing from them. Therefore in consideration to the long future of the group, we have to make this following decision." explaining the background of the two members' comeback.

SM Kim Young Min on November 2nd last year stated the company's ultimatum in the press conference through an official representative. "The recent condition implies that eventhough the three members are able to determine their individual activities, they're still only able to work as TVXQ under our company. We have scheduled TVXQ comeback activities in Korea in next spring. Hence to prepare for it the three members have to respond to this proposal by the coming 10 days which is on November 12th."

U-Know Yunho, Choikang Changmin also revealed their feeling through a written document today, "We will continue to keep the promise with SM. Before the other three members started their cosmetic business, we shared the same dream to be able to comeback together as well. Yet in order to have a comeback in next year's spring we're required to prepare for at least 6 months. So if we still want to work as TVXQ, we need to make a decision soon before it's too late."

The remaining three members, in the other hand, had formed a new group called JYJ and already started to mark their start by launching their first album 'The Beginning'. 'The Beginning' stands for 'a brand new start' and is released in both South Korea and United States through Warner Music. It seems that JYJ has committed for a prolonged activities.

Since a series of events occurred including three members of TVXQ breaking away from the team, we SM Entertainment (noted as SM) have been refraining from having U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin participate in music-related activities for a long period of over a year.

For the feelings and dreams of the two members and the company to protect 'TVXQ',
and thinking about the hearts of the fans, who have been showing an unchanging love to TVXQ, we have been waiting for a long time.

As it was stated in the injunction verdict, all TVXQ activities must be done through SM.
Regardless of this fact, the trio have unfortunately continued to be unresponsive to the proposal SM sent them regarding continuing activities as TVXQ.

In order to be chosen as the model for the cover of a wedding magazine, Min made an aggressive proposal to Young Kwang Kim on the morning of the 21st on MBC's youth variety show, Flower Bouquet.

That day at Flower Bouquet, they held auditions for the wedding model position. Whoever captured Young Kwang Kim's heart the best would be given the chance to be the cover model. In order to win Yong Kwang Kim's heart, Min made a bold approach.

[News] Shin Seunghoon was nervous when “Gee” clinched #1 for 9 weeks in a row

Recently, during the recording of tvN's interview show, "Baek Jiyeon's People Inside", veteran singer Shin Seunghoon looked back at his 20 years' singing career and revealed his love stories and untold grievances.
While talking about his 2nd album "Invisible Love", Shin Seunghoon admitted that SNSD's achievements made him feel nervous. He said, "When I saw SNSD took #1 for 9 weeks in a row, I was feeling a bit nervous". He then explained that the reason for being nervous was because one of his hits "Invisible Love" made it to Korea's record book for taking the #1 spot on a music program for 14 weeks in a row.
He added, "I hope my record will not be broken. Nowadays, the music industry moves rapidly. If a hit song only survives for a week, it will be forgotten very soon".

According to Kim Jongkook, SNSD are arsonists.
On SBS TV's "Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate", SNSD graced the stage with awesome performances of "If You Seek Amy", "Hoot", "Oh!" and "Gee". In between the performances, the girls had a short interview with the MC, Kim Jung Eun.
During the interview, Kim Jung Eun read out the answers from male celebrities for a survey entitled "To Korea Republic's men, SNSD are ………."
Haha's answer was the first to be revealed. Haha's answer was, "SNSD are liars and cruel idols. I told them my wish but they didn't fulfill it".
To this SNSD jokingly replied, "It says 'We just want you to tell us your wish but we never said we would fulfill it", which drew laughter from the audience.
Next, Kim Jongkook's answer was read out. According to the muscular singer, SNSD are "arsonists" because the girls set fire on the hearts of Republic of Korea's men.
After that, Kim Jung Eun read out the last answer from Gwangsu which sounded rather 'strange'. It sounded like this – "Yuri-ah, did you eat? Eating is the most important for Yuri".
Upon hearing this, Yuri wisely replied, "Gwangsu Oppa, please eat well too. Each of us here are eating well".

Tiffany who suffered a knee injury during a recent activity is eager to be back on stage again with her 8 sisters.
Wearing a pink cast on her entire left leg, Tiffany has been resting well and committed to the treatment of her injury. The cast is worn to reduce the movement on the injured portion and hence, accelerate the healing time.
Recently, one of Tiffany's acquaintances said, "Tiffany is focusing fully on her treatment. Although 4 weeks of treatment and rest is required, she is determined to recover 2 weeks ahead of the estimated healing period because she is burning with passion and commitment to be on stage again".
