This week will definitely be a busy week for the girls of 4Minute as they will start working and promoting again in Japan for the upcoming release of their Japanese Debut Album entitled: "DIAMOND."

To start their Japanese activities, 4Minute attended the DVD Launching of the Korean Version of the popular Japanese Manga: "Dragon Zakura" which is now famously known as "God of Study" in South Korea. The event was held at Laforet Museum in Harajuku, this December 1, 2010. 4Minute is one of the singers of the Korean drama's OSTs. They sang the song "Dreams Come True" which eventually had a Japanese Ver. and was released together with their recent single: "FIRST."

Together with the girls, Japanese actress Nishikawa Ayako, also attended the said event. She was reportedly chosen to play the role of the female doctor for the Japanese version of the drama.

Members of 4Minute personally think that they can relate to the very theme of the drama, as it talks about the difficulties that students encounter for their studies. This year, Kim HyunA has just been accepted to College after passing the Test for Recommendation provided by the school.

"I prepared for the exam and yet when I entered the room, I got so nervous," HyunA revealed during her interview.

Jihyun said, "The spirit in the drama is different. Studying for a test should not be something to cram about just the night before taking it."

HyunA interrupted and said, "My concentration falls rapidly after 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I think of dancing on the stage," which eventually caused laughter among the members.

The venue was filled with screaming fans most especially when one of the members said that she's learning Japanese in their school as her second language.

Gayoon was then asked about the source of her confidence and she answered, "I am full of confidence from head to toe. When you're full of confidence, you'll look cool during stage performances."

[NEWS] Jang Geun suk to receive 2 awards at 2010 Asia Buzz Award

Jang Keun-suk is likely to receive two awards for the upcoming Yahoo! Buzz Awards 2010, according to Jang's promoter Tree J. Company on Thursday.

Tree J. announced in press release that Jang is currently first in two of three categories -- top male star and top Asian star -- in a popularity poll including Internet users in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Indonesia between November 8 to December 1.

The Yahoo! Buzz Awards, into its seventh year, selects and offers awards to celebrities based on the "buzz", or number of searches, a star has received on Internet portal site Yahoo!

The count so far indicates that in the category for top male star, Jang has garnered over a total 5.6 million votes which is twice the amount lodged by the first runner-up and nearly 10 million votes in the survey for top Asian star.

He has been competing against Korean heartthrobs such as Super Junior, Kim Hyun-joong, Rain, 2PM and Lee Seung-gi .

SISTAR's third single "How Dare You" has failed the review in KBS and has been banned.

SISTAR's agency said, "There's only a few days left before SISTAR's comeback and the release of their third single, We received information that their new song has failed in the review by KBS and we sent a revised version on the 2nd of December".

Aside from the song, the music video has also failed review and has been banned in broadcasting stations, the members seemed to be a bit worried upon this news.

Their agency said, "The song did not pass the review due to the lyrics, we did not expect it to happen. Due to it, we have modified the lyrics and submitted a reversed version for a reconsideration".

The four members of Brown Eyed Girls has been busy with their solo promotions and activities this year in Korea and they will greet their fans with all four of them for a Year end concert.

This year they will be having awesome performances featuring their greatest hit "Abracadabra". The members will show their strong vocals and not only perform dance songs but also ballads such as "Love" and "eo jjeo da". The members will be having solo stages as well.

They will be trying a unique concept for their concert to show high quality performances, much anticipation are set on Brown Eyed Girls and they are already receiving much interest from the industry.

On the latest episode of "MBC Star Audition: The Great Birth" they featured KARA's success in Japan, not only as artists but also as MC's for a local show in Japan.

They have emerged as the local MC's for the new show in Japan called 'Sakigake Ongaku Banzuke~EIGHT~'. They have been attracting a lot of attention when they were chosen as MC's also this is their first time to be MC's on a show in Japan.

They featured the behind the scenes on KARA's audition for the show. It seems that KARA has a lot of fans in Japan and a lot were happy that they were chosen as the MC's for the show. A day before they auditioned, a lot of Japanese fans cheered them on and supported the girls.

meanwhile, the Show will be aired on the 3rd of December to show the success of KARA in Japan.

On the 30th of November broadcast of SBS "Strong Heart", actor and singer Choi Jin Yeong was one of the guests and on the show, he confessed that he is a big fan of SNSD member Yuri much to his embarrassment and blushed when he confessed.

He confessed on the show, "It is true that I am a huge fan of SNSD member Yuri. I would download my favorite videos of her and edit them together using a player, I would work hard but I would be happy every time".

He followed by saying, "She is a woman who is really attractive and also very sweet. She also dances very well" he smiled when he said such and suddenly got excited when he was talking about Yuri.

It seems that he is a huge fan boy of Yuri from SNSD.

On the recent episode of MBC "Radio Star" some members of Co-ed were guests and MC Kim Gura could not help but comment on their song "Bbiribbom Bberibbom".

They talked about how young idol's are being popular nowadays and also praised them for their talent, however, Kim Gura commented about Co-Ed's song "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" that made Chanmi and Hyo Young be a bit embarrassed.

Kim Gura said, "In your song 'Bbiribbom Bberibbom'I do not understand the lyrics, I cannot understand the parts and the 'Datdatdatdat' and 'tteotteotteotteo' and which one comes first, what language is this from? Is this alien language?" causing laughter from them.

The two main vocals could not help but laugh and feel embarrassed. They tried to clear the confusion on the lyrics and taught the MC's on which one comes first, however they could not help but stutter and get confused causing much laughter in the set.

meanwhile, "Radio Star" achieved the highest ratings for their show garnering 14.4% while KBS got 5.8% and SBS 7.3% for the shows on that time.

On the 27th at 8pm, an hour later than planned, the "JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul" began at the Jamsil Seoul Olympic Stadium.

Despite the sudden cold, fans from around the world started gathering outside the Olympic Stadium as early as 5 hours before the concert. [NEWS] Kyuhyun, “I Found Confidence For This Musical Thanks To The Sunbaenims’ Support”

On the site of the practice room for the open rehearsal of the musical 'The Three Musketeers', Super Junior Kyuhyun, who is confronting himself with a musical for the first time, confessed that the advice and encouragements he receives from his sunbaes give him great strength.
Although the other actors have been working together on the musical 'The Three Musketeers' since June, Kyuhyun had to join them much later (only around the beginning of October) due to his schedule with the rest of the Super Junior members. Because of this, he revealed his apologetic heart and said "I'm so sorry I couldn't even be present to practice properly, I will show you a very hard-working image."
Kyuhyun admitted his worries "Since this is my first musical, there's a sense of uneasiness and I feel pressured. I'm still lacking in many areas, so all the advice my sunbaes give me push me to do well too."
When questioned on who gives him the best advice, Kyuhyun said that every piece of advice coming from Kim Buprae, Cha Bumsuk, Kim Mooyeol, and other actors is valuable to him. Kyuhyun also added "It's especially Kim Buprae sunbae who looks at me and whispers at me to not move around restlessly, and to stand still while acting," NOTE and "While Seobum sunbae always advises me to say my lines louder. There's so much to say, even Kim Mooyeol sunbae gives me suggestions on my acting, they help me improve where I'm still lacking in skill."
At the question "Isn't there any of your subaes who warned or intimidated you when giving advice?", Kyuhyun answered "It's not like that," but at the end of the interview he left the words "Kim Buprae sunbaenim.." lingering in the air, causing everyone to burst out laughing while his sunbae took the microphone to say "I love you, Super Junior!" out loud.
That day, during the 'Angel in my heart' scene, the kiss scene between D'Artagnan (Kyuhyun) and Constance (Kim Ahsun)'s was revealed. Kyuhyun explained "The song 'Angel in my heart' is about Constance's suffering after having been kidnapped, and is sung when she is later on rescued by Her Majesty, around then I fall in love with Constance again and we kiss."
When asked if it's a deep kiss scene, Kyuhyun said with a smile "Luckily since the producers are very considerate, they allow me to do it while covering up with a hat."
TRANSLATOR'S NOTE At first Kyuhyun simply wanted to share what kind of advice he received, so he seemed to want to mention his sunbaes one by one. However, since the latters obviously knew what they have been telling him during practice, they jokingly told him to watch his mouth. Again, Kyuhyun started from Kim Buprae (who probably scolded him when he didn't do well) so the other sunbaes started fooling around and talking all at once. I believe they thought Kyuhyun was going to tell on him and they advised him not to (someone shouted something along the lines of "Won't you regret this?"), but he was nice and said that his sunbae told him what to do in a soft voice. But then one of the sunbaes said that Kim Buprae also hit him, and Kyuhyun just smiled because they weren't letting him speak. All in all you get a really nice feeling out of this press conference, Kyuhyun is clearly enjoying this experience and is learning a lot. All the people involved in this production seem to love working with him.

[News] Hyunjoong: “Lived With Jaejoong & Rival Yoochun Is A Drinking Buddy”

Kim Hyunjoong's close friends are mostly stars of the entertainment world and includes JYJ's Youngwoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun, Big Bang's TOP and actors Lee Minho, Kim Bum and more.

Youngwoong Jaejoong:

Even while TVXQ and SS501 were enjoying the peak of their popularity at the same period of time, they still had kind words for one another and were never mean to each other.

From the tiring trainee period onwards, enduring their difficulties together; the friendship built out of that did not change. In 2009, both of them challenged acting through "Postman to Heaven" and "Boys Over Flowers".

In January 2010, both took time out of their schedule to travel in Canada. While having a holiday in Vancouver, Canada, they made their New Year resolutions and enjoyed their time of rest. The two of them are like twins and even lived in the same apartment.

Previously, when Kim Hyunjoong's contract with DSP ended, there were rumours abound that the two of them will work together.

Micky Yoochun:

Because of the close relationship between Kim Hyunjoong and Youngwoong Jaejoong, he naturally became friends with Micky Yoochun. When their schedules coincide, the three of them would meet at the roadside stalls near their homes for a drink.

Recently, because of Micky Yoochun's "SungKyunKwan Scandal" and Kim Hyunjoong's "Mischievous Kiss", they were pitted against each other in the "Best friends' battle". Both expressed: "We were happy that the time slots did not coincide but it turned out that it did, so we think we probably won't be able to meet each other face to face for a few years."

The two had kind words for the other's acting and didn't forget their friendship. Kim Hyunjoong said, "From the time we debuted as TVXQ and SS501, we were said to be competitors, so it seems like we're fated to be rivals" and also "Before the drama began, we encouraged one another and when it ended we had a drink together, but since then, we haven't met."
