[News] SHINee Minho's experience of being last place & even gets a punishment

For the first time since his debut, SHINee's Minho finally got a taste of what last place feels like.

On this week's episode of KBS 2TV's '100 Points Out Of 100', Minho was betrayed by his supporter for the Class President Election, F.T Island's Hong Ki, and was placed last in the votes and subsequently received cleaning duty.

As a result, Minho had to arrive on set earlier than the rest of the cast and took on on all the miscellaneous duties around the school as a punishment.

Minho expressed, "I was shocked since this is the first time I've experienced something like this. I was okay on the day of the filming, but from the next day onwards, I had a hard time because I couldn't stop thinking about getting last place."

Park Myung Soo replied and "advised" Minho, "You just need to keep being last from now on."

As a person who loves to win & is very ambitious, it sure gives Minho a huge experience about being last and even accepting the punishment. Don't you think so?

Kim Leena who attended "Melon Music Award" on the 15th left a self postscript via twitter on the 17th.

It was revealed a little while ago that popular girl-group, Brown Eyed Girls, is going to return to the music scene next year after more than a year of hiatus. The members have been actively busy appearing in variety shows, Japan debut and fellow members, Narsha and Gain, also had their successful debut as solo artist.

Just recently, rapper of the group, Miryo, tweeted through her official Twitter account "4집녹음중!!" which means "Fourth album recording!!" and has builds up fans anticipation and excitement towards their upcoming comeback in 2011. While the girls are preparing for their fourth album, comeback date and album concept are yet to be announced soon. Are you excited for their comeback?

On We got Married aired on 18th, as part of the mission Yong Hwa recommended going over to CNBlue's dorm.

Before going, Yong Hwa phoned Jong Hyun to ask what he was doing. Jong Hyun didn't know Yong Hwa had his phone on speaker phone, and he answered, "Just in underwear on the bed relaxing" which freaked Seo Hyun out.

Yong Hwa added, "It's on speakerphone so Seo Hyun can hear you and she's freaking out."

At this Jong Hyun panicked and repeated "She can hear? She can hear?". However, Jong Hyun seemed to be enjoying freaking Seo Hyun out and added "Min Hyuk is also in his underwear"

At this SeoHyun seemed to be shocked and said "I'm not going to your dorm" which caused laughter.

On the Music Core aired on 18th of Dec, Orange Caramel performed "Aiiing♡". However this time, their costumes gained more attention.

Orange Caramel has always been a little different but cute at the same time. This time they wore colours which would be rarely worn such as light green, hot pink, purple skirts. The light green skirt of Nana gave an impression of a cabbage.

SuJu's Eun Hyuk talked about Minho.On "100 out of 100" aired on the 18th of Dec, Eun Hyuk of Suju jokingly talked about how MinHo does nothing for SM?

Eun Hyuk and Min Ho are currently in SM entertainment together. Eun Hyuk also added "Min Ho isn't funny on this show either. Our entertainment company doesn't monitor MinHo on TV" and caused laughter.Also in the "Class prefect" elections held in this show, MinHo got the least amount of votes. He said "During my 20 years of my life, I have never been last before"and showed disappointment.

Dong Woon from Beast and Kang Min Kyung from Davichi sang a song together called "Udon" which seems very popular on a music site. It is currently in the higher ranking.

It was released on the 17th Dec and as soon as it was released it received huge popularity.

"Udon" ranking increased further when a cute MV was released. The MV is about a guy and a girl eating udon together and confessing their love about each other.

2AM Seul Ong suddenly hugging IU becomes a hot topic.

On KBS 2TV "Music Bank" aired on December 17, Seul Ong, who was singing "Nagging" with IU, approached her and suddenly hugged her.

[News] SJ Consecutively Reigns as Bestselling J/K-Pop Singer in Taiwan

[Ying Chen, Wei-quan Su/Taipei] Korean idol group Super Junior (abbreviated SJ) became the best-selling J-Pop/K-Pop* artist in Taiwan with their album "Bonamana", selling 57,000 copies, making the girls of Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation bow out.** Among Japanese singers, Hamasaki Ayumi beat out Amuro Namie to take the crown, but neither sold over 10,000 copies in Taiwan. SJ's "Bonamana" sold 7000 more copies than Wonder Girls, and third place among Korean album sales was the Korean drama OST for "You're Beautiful", arguably a black horse.

[News] Supernova to hold concert in Japan's Yokohama Arena

Boy band Supernova will perform at the prestigious Yokohama Arena in Japan next week, according to the group's agency Maru Entertainment on Friday.

Maru announced through a press release today that the six-member group will hold the "Supernova Show 2010" at the Yokohama Arena, open only to the biggest names in the music industry.

Maru also said all 12,000 tickets for the boys' upcoming show sold out, making it the largest crowd they will perform in front of in Japan.

This is not the first time Supernova's concert has sold out -- their shows held in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka earlier this year were equally successful. The group's next concert "Supernova X-mas Party 2010" set for December 25 in Kobe is also a sell-out.

Supernova's career in Japan has fared well so far with all nine of their single albums released in the country since their debut last year placing within the top 6 slots of the prestigious Oricon chart. The group's 10th single 'shining☆star" debuted at No.4 spot in Oricon chart the day of its release on December 8.

Supernova, composed of members Jung Yunhak, Kim Sungje, Yoon Sungmo, Kim Kwangsu, Song Jihyuk and Park Geonil, made their debut in Korea in 2007 with their album "The Beautiful Stardust" and gained popularity through collaboration projects "T.T.L (Time to Love)" and "T.T.L Listen 2" with girl group T-ara last year.

Most recently, member Sungje came together with Kang Ji-young of female group Kara to release a digital single titled "Merry Love" which went on sale December 16.
