New stills from the set of My Princess Posted: 07 Dec 2010 05:00 AM PST More stills are out from next year’s romantic comedy drama My Princess, starring the very very pretty pairing of Kim Tae-hee (IRIS) and Mr. Hand Towel himself, Song Seung-heon (East of Eden). The top three images are from the drama’s December 1 outdoor shoot, where the two leads watch a movie together out in the front yard of a vacation home. Since she’s a cheapskate commoner and he’s the rich one (of course!), I’m guessing it’s his place. (...) © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 11 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Mary Stayed Out All Night: Episode 8 Posted: 06 Dec 2010 09:00 PM PST I know, an episode involving handcuffs and the kinkiest moment we get is a hair shampooing scene! One guess whose. To be honest, I’ve been bored out of my MIND with Mary for the past few weeks. Normally I’d just drop a drama when it got that painfully dull, but I stuck with it this time, and this is the first episode that has started to upturn for me. I started to care about the characters again, which has been hard in recent episodes because people been acting so nonsensically and selfishly. But now that the fake-marriage jig is up, it’s forcing them to be more honest with each other and themselves. Not a moment too soon. Posted: 06 Dec 2010 03:40 PM PST Well, that was anticlimactic. After months of delays and shuffling around on the broadcast schedule, MBC has decided to drop Birdie Buddy from its upcoming lineup after all, which means that the golf drama that was to be singer UEE’s first leading role is no more. A source from MBC’s drama department stated that while they had agreed to air Birdie Buddy following Queen of Reversals, the drama didn’t pass muster in meetings with the outside production company subcommittee. (At MBC, all programs produced by an outside production company must be approved by their committee before being allowed to air.) The reason was not divulged. Posted: 06 Dec 2010 12:05 PM PST We’ve got kissing, handholding, bed-hopping, and towel-dropping, and that’s all in the first half hour. Our body-swapped souls get entangled in each other’s affairs, further complicated by the heartbreak rivalry going on between Oska and Seul. It’s funny that both cousins are fighting, but neither is fighting for the same girl…except for purposes of maximum annoyance. Let the best man-child win. Character posters for SBS’s Sign Posted: 06 Dec 2010 07:27 AM PST Question: If your two main characters are forensic doctors, why is one of them holding a camera in the drama poster? Here are the character posters for the new SBS drama Sign, in which Kim Ah-joong (with said camera) plays a forensic doctor who decides to make a (slight) career change after working in the coroner’s office. Instead of investigating in labs and exam rooms, what she really wants to do is examine evidence at the scene of the crime. (Okay, I see the point of the camera. But I contend that it’s still… weird.) (...) © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 51 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
