Famous Idols attended the launching event for clothing brand Patricia Field in Cheongdan-dong's MCM HAUS store on 3rd December.

This event was held in celebration of Patricia Field's new clothing line. Stars who attended included f(x)'s Sulli, Kim Min Jung, B2ST, U-Kiss's Dongho, Hwang Jung Eum and many more.

The money from sales will be donated to the relief fund for the people residing in Yeonpyeong Island.

2AM has successfully completed their second Singapore promotion. On the 2nd of this month, 2AM held a fansigning for around 3000 locals at the IMM Center in Singapore.

A representative of 2AM stated, "Without concern that rain would pour down, the fans and media went out to greet 2AM with wild enthusiasm." 2AM's local label, Universal Music Singapore, said, "The regular press of their 1st album 'Saint o'clock' conquered in terms of album sales and music charts for the first 2 weeks after its release. We couldn't have expected such quick results."

"In particular, it was exceptionally unprecedented that on M Service, the largest music site, they didn't just place first on the download chart for the K-POP/J-POP category, but for the entire ranking," they added.

[NEWS] SNSD’s Jessica Confesses, “It’s not really in my nature to clean”

SNSD's Jessica revealed her princess-like life.
On an episode of KBS 2TV's "Night Star" which aired on the 5th, guest stars SNSD chose Hyoyeon as the one who takes most initiative to clean the dormitory. Yoona revealed how Hyoyeon is like every day by saying she steps up to clean their place and do the dishes. Yoona said, "If the dishes are piling up, the members just leave them and wait for our dorm nanny to come wash them all for us, but Hyoyeon always steps up to do it."
The members also said that when Hyoyeon isn't there, Taeyeon and Yoona usually volunteer to clean their dorm. When the MC said they wanted to know in which order they stand for cleaning the most, Sunny said, "Let's reveal the last place first. I think this is an easy one," and choose Jessica.
Upon this, Jessica said, "It's not really in my nature to clean," boldly confessing and making everybody laugh. At Jessica's honest reply, Yoon Jongshin asked, "Is Jessica usually the princess type?" to which Sooyoung answered, "When she's really hungry, she'll heat up some ham on the frying pan, but she almost fries it by pouring so much oil."
Jessica tried to redeem herself by saying, "I can make fried rice," but the members continued by saying, "she doesn't know how to control portions so even if we eat until our stomachs burst, there's still leftovers," and, "all she does is fry it." But they ended nicely by saying, "even if she can't make it well, she still makes it for us once every 2 years so it's a big deal."
There was much laughter when it was revealed that Jessica had such princess-like habits because she can't cook or clean.
On another note, on this episode of Night Star, the SNSD members recorded a storybook reading, showing off their great acting skills.

Big Bang's Seungri will begin his solo activities with his own songs.

An official from YG Entertainment revealed. "Seungri will return as solo artist in January next year. This time though, with songs he composed and wrote on his own."

According to officials, Seungri along with TOP have been steadily studying writing and composing [music]. Seungri's last solo activities were with his song "Strong Baby", off of Big Bang's second album from November 2008. This time with self-written songs his solo activities are much more meaningful. As for the undefined title, member G-Dragon was said to have provided some help with the arrangement.

It was announced that after a long time, Seungri will release a digital single on January 3rd next year and begin his solo activities. Because of this his activities in MBC variety show "Enjoy Today" were put off.

Meanwhile, Big Bang's G-Dragon and TOP will begin to work as a unit in December for their solo careers and in February Big Bang's vigorous activities are expected to begin.

On the episode of MBC 'We Got Married' (WGM) that broadcasted on the 4th, Jo Kwon (2AM) and Ga-in (Brown Eyed Girls) were rehearsing for a sitcom. Yoon Doojoon, who also appears in this sitcom, taught those two a lesson.

Korea's Girls' Generation/SNSD Ready To Storm Japan

The Japanese music market may be increasingly resistant to international repertoire, but that isn't stopping Girls' Generation. The Korean girl group is hoping to turn huge YouTube buzz into sales in Japan and other international markets.

Known as So Nyuh Shi Dae, or SNSD, at home and as Shoujo Jidai in Japan, the nine-member pop group has become a most-viewed regular on YouTube. Its kitsch videos for songs including "Gee" and "Hoot" have racked up 30.1 million and 5.9 million views, respectively.

Put together by South Korean management company/label SM Entertainment, group members Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun -- all known only by their first names -- have been huge stars in Korea since their 2007 debut. In addition to releasing a total of seven projects, including several repackages of the same material, the act has secured high-profile endorsements with Samsung and LG.

But with opportunities limited by the size of the Korean market, Girls' Generation is now targeting more lucrative international territories. Its first stop is Japan. The country has shown greater interest in Korean music since the success of such acts as BoA and Tohoshinki. And the girls' cute image appeals to J-pop fans.

According to Susumu Machida, managing director of the group's Universal-owned label Nayutawave Records, the major began capitalizing on the YouTube buzz by releasing a DVD compilation of the act's videos before issuing a record. Initial purchasers of "Shoujo Jidai Tourai: New Beginning of Girls' Generation," released Aug. 11, gained access to the act's debut Japan shows at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo on Aug. 25.

"Both their singing and dancing are remarkable," Machida says. "And that has driven their popularity."

The DVD -- which has sold 60,000 copies, according to Universal -- was followed by a rerecording of the group's Korean hit "Tell Me Your Wish" as its debut Japanese single, "Genie." The single hit No. 4 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100 and has sold 98,000 copies since its Sept. 8 release, according to SoundScan Japan. Follow-up single "Gee" reached No. 2 and has sold 80,000 since Oct. 20.

Meanwhile, aided by the fact that Sooyoung speaks fluent Japanese, the band secured appearances on more than 20 Japanese TV shows: almost unprecedented coverage for an international act. "Their performance on TV is so well-produced and sharp," Machida says. "In Japan, that's half the battle."

Girls' Generation's first Japanese-language album is due in the spring, and the group may target Europe later in 2011. There aren't yet any plans for a North American release.

Park Jae Beom, ex member of South Korean boyband 2PM, currently more known as Jay Park, scheduled Jakarta as part of his Asian tour. Jay Park's fans in Indonesia, called the Indo JWalkerz, will soon be able to meet their idol in Nusa Indah Theater Balai Kartini, South Jakarta.

Born in Edmonds, Washington on the April 25, 1987, he started his career when he auditioned for JYP Entertainment as a rapper and a b-boy. As a result, producer and talent scout Park Jin-young brought Jay Park to Korea to train, in order to improve the quality of his singing and Korean language for four years since 2004.

In 2008, Jay joined the reality show Hot Blood which promised him a spot in 2PM and succeeded. However, his career in 2PM stalled after September 4, 2009 when an online article emerged about his dislike of living in Korea while still in training.

Jay's grievances were shed in his personal Myspace account in 2005 and this raised anger among Koreans (tn: netizens). Jay was demanded to leave South Korea and to stop being a member of 2PM. Jay apologized to the Korean public, left Korea for the United States and went back to school to study music.

However, Jay's departure was not for long. On November 2009, various Jay Park videos that were involved in a reality show began to appear and rapidly spread.

Then on the March 15, 2010, Jay made a comeback through his own YouTube channel, jayparkaom. He uploaded a video of himself singing B.o.B & Bruno Mars' Nothin' on You with his own lyrics and within 24 hours, the video was clicked by 1,5 million viewers and ever since then, Jay's career rocketed, especially when he released his mini album Count on Me.

Charity Concert

Jay Park, as part of his Asian tour program will hold a mini showcase on the 6th of December 2010. The theme of his concert in Jakarta is Pray for Indonesia.

2% of Jay's concert profit will be donated to victims of natural disasters. The audience will participate in donating for the victims of natural disasters.

"The proceeds will be given to the victims of the Mount Merapi volcano eruptions," said Project Manager Astri Nugraha as the promoter who brought Jay to Jakarta. Not only talented at dancing and singing, Jay is also known as a celebrity who has high social awareness and currently holds the title of Ambassador to Korea's Disabled Athletic Association. Jay has helped the disabled with music and hip-hop dancing.

A photo taken by fan when the KARA girls performed on the Green Evolution Concert 2 days ago.

After they ended the performance,there is a scene that garnered much attention (as shown in the photo).Maknae Ji Young was spotted touching Seung Yeon's hips and SeungYeon looked at the maknae with a "touching" expression.

This photo has caused quite some discussions among fans,so do you have any opinions to share?
