First they conquered Youtube, now the girls …..

have been named the top K-pop artists of 2010 for their hit singles “Oh”, Run Devil Run”, and “Hoot”(which were all in the top 10 on the K-chart)!

KBS’s Music Bank had many special stages to celebrate the best in K-pop this year.Also, SHINee, MissA, 2pm, SISTAR (to name a few) returned with their hit songs another week just for the celebration.

However, SNSD was the band that took home this year’s number one prize!

I guess girl groups really did control the industry this year?

On December 17th, Kim Kyu-joong (aka Eternal Pretty Face) tweeted the following message and photos:

“We will return to Korea soon!!!”

As we previously reported, SS501′s Kim Kyu-jong and Heo Young-saeng are currently touring Asia for their fan meetings. However, when a pretty face makes a promise…will he keep it? Especially, when we all know Double S is no longer “UR Man“. Superstar John Park has now claimed the title.

What do you think of his “digital” debut?

American Idol/Superstar K2 contestant/CF model…ok, John has alot of titles,possibly more than Goo Hye-sun!

The singer has worked hard this year,and he has finally made his debut in the music world! This week, John Park released his first digital single entitled “I’m Your Man”. The single,which was produced by Park Seon-ju,will slowly become one of your favorites this holiday season. The song is filled with his beautiful voice..minus any auto-tones.

The Twittersphere is becoming one scary place.

On December 17th, a negative message about Koreans appeared on Rapper Crown J’s twitter. The message was one of frustration and seemed to be full of anger. Shortly after the message appeared, this following tweet replaced it:

“wow now somebody’s hacking my twitter…haterz man…i didn’t write what was written right before this. just so yall know.”

Hold up J, you mean we have to keep our enemies close and….our Twitters even closer?

In a good way!

The recent photos of IU eating with a large bowl/tray lunch has made male fans fall in love all over again! Netizens have commented about how pretty,cute,etc…. she is(noting that her face is much smaller than the soup bowl).

Now, in the USA, we don’t judge beauty by the size of people’s' faces. So, I’m a little clueless what the obsession is all about.(Someone please explain?) If this singer were in the USA and her face was much smaller than a bowl in front of her,we would be afraid her head would get swallowed up by the bowl!

IU would become a “Marshmallow” with plenty of “Nagging“!

What happened to G-dragon’s hair?

G-dragon, being the innovative person he is, decided to change his hairstyle again for the promotion of his new single with fellow Big Bang member, TOP.

G-dragon is known for putting in a lot of effort on his hair and fashion. From his mohican hairstyle to his blonde dye job, he has been always open to change and experimentation. However, G-dragon‘s new hairstyle cannot even be described as good or bad. His hair just looks burnt.

Maybe he fell asleep at the hair salon with a straightener on his hair? Only the singer knows, but let’s hope his hair regains its healthy shine again, soon.

Sadly, TOP doesn’t look any better with his bleach blonde hair.

Recently, on a Chinese internet community, interesting pictures of Yu-chun from the KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” have been posted. The pictures all have a cute parody character next to the singer-turned-actor. The picture revealing Yu-chun‘s muscular behind especially caught the attention of many fans. Many wrote that they couldn’t take their eyes off of his butt.
