They are going to be one hot pair.

Lee Na-young and Song Gang-ho will play violent crime detectives in the upcoming movie “Howling“. They will begin investigating a serial murder case that is somehow linked to a wolf-dog.

After being in the “Fugitive” this year, the actress is ready to run after crime again with a new partner. Hopefully, the wolf-dog is friendly. If he isn’t, there will be real running and screaming,instead of one dog “Howling” at the moon!

Opius Pictures upcoming film(by director Yoo-ha) “Howling” is set to be released sometime next year.

The Marie Claire issue featuring model/actress Go Ah-ra was recently released. As a sweet gesture to her fans, Ah-ra released behind-the-scenes photos of her at the photo shoot for the magazine on twitter.

Here is the message she tweeted to fans:

"The photo spread for Marie Claire has finally been released ^^ So voila! Me when I was at the set."

Was she a stand in for Sandara on 2NE1′s “It Hurts” music video? The last photo looks reminds me of their Halloween inspired MV.

Kim Hyun-joong cancels all his activities….

for his upcoming trip to Taiwan.

On December 11th, POPSEOUL informed you about the upcoming “Playful Kiss” promotion trip in Taiwan with Kim Hyun-joong and Jung So-min. Well, yesterday the entire event was cancelled.

Kim Hyun-joong’s current health situation is the reason.

Below is what his company, KEYEAST, stated to the press:

“Unfortunately, Kim Hyun Joong is not in good health lately, leading us to cancel his schedule in Taiwan. It seems like his body has not been able to keep up with his busy overseas schedules. Although the event wasn't confirmed, he's still very disappointed with the decision. Since good health is a priority, he will be resting for the time being. It is not anything serious, so fans need not worry."

The singer/actor did send autographed posters for fans who would have attended the fanmeeting. Also, he agreed to record a video for them so he can greet his overseas supporters.

In the meantime, Hyun-joong will stay put in Korea. His hectic schedule is cleared through Christmas.

MC Mong: “…..I can’t breathe…”

The third trial date for MC Mong’s draft dodging case was held on December 20th.

The celebrity posted the following message on his personal homepage following day three of his trial:

"I will wait for the next trial. I can’t breathe, but I request that you wait for me."

What happened during this particular day in court?

The evidence is in MC Mong’s favor…sort of.

The five dentists he visited, who extracted his teeth, were witnesses on the 20th. They explained that his teeth were in bad condition and had to be pulled. One dentist explained that the reason they did not have any records of his bills/consultations fees was….because he was MC Mong! They admitted they did not charge him consultation fees because he was a celebrity.

What about the bills(or files stating he had his teeth pulled at their office)?

"We had just installed a new electronic register so there was a moment of confusion…”

What about their previous allegations(that he had them removed to dodge his military service)?

"The police investigations were held in a pressuring and forceful environment. They led us to reply in the manner they wanted."

This case is certainly getting interesting. Who would intentionally pulled out their teeth to dodge the military? It’s very hard to believe. I choose to believe MC Mong….removing teeth just seems too painful!

Why didn’t Lee Gi-kwang debut under JYP?

On this week’s episode of the KBS show “Win Win“, Park Jin-young revealed the reason why Lee Gi-kwang had to debut under a different company.

Park Jin-young stated, “When I first saw Lee Gi-kwang, I thought he was so talented. However, he had one flaw. He knew he was talented.” Park Jin-young went on to explain that Lee Gi-kwang wasn’t arrogant but he simply knew he was good. Park Jin-young said that in order to improve and become better at something, you can’t be satisfied with your abilities, but Gi-kwang knew that he was good at singing and dancing already, as a trainee.” The producer/singer stated that he heard the Gi-kwang works hard these days and wanted to tell him that he is proud of him before the recording of “Win Win” started.

People say everything happens for a reason. Maybe Gi-kwang was meant to leave JYP to debut as a member of B2ST. Can you imagine B2ST without Gi-kwang? Better yet, can you imagine Gi-kwang as a member of 2AM or 2PM?

Choi Jung-won, actress known for her roles in the 2010 SBS drama “Wish Upon a Star“, recently shot a photo spread for the January issue of Esquire magazine.

The actress transformed into a passionate yet lonely cellist for the photo spread. In black and white from head to toe, she showed that you don’t need to wear revealing clothes to look sexy. The photographer at the set complimented Choi Jung-won‘s pale white skin and deep, pure eyes.

Dong-hae turns into a magician…

Dong-hae of Super Junior recently did an interview and a photo spread for the January issue of Elle Girl magazine. The singer who is currently taking on a new task of acting in the SBS drama “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter“, grasped the concept of a magician for the photo shoot very well.

In the interview, Dong-hae revealed his strong passion for acting. He stated that he is so thankful for the opportunity because he has always wanted to try it. The singer also stated that he is proud of Super Junior for staying together for five years. He said that he puts working together as a group before anything else. Dong-hae gave a shout out to Lee-teuk, stating that he is a great leader who listens to everyone’s opinions.

Park Hyo-shin and Outsider Enlist

Months after announcing their mandatory 2 year enlistment date, vocalist Park Hyo-shin and “speed rapper” Outsider officially enlisted into the army on December 21st.

Both artists weren’t about to leave without support. Fans crowded the 102 reserves unit in Chuncheon for the final opportunity to see both artists before their 2 year leave of absence.

Outsider on the 20th, posted a message on his me2day looking back at his career and what he hoped to gain in the military writing:

"During the 11 years of my music life, I have worked really hard. Now, I will finish my 21-month duty in the national defense, and return as an even cooler guy. As always, keep both your mind and body healthy. Thank you!"

Park Hyo-shin on the other hand released his final album “Gift Part.2″ earlier this month on the 14th, and bid his fans farewell, performing for the last time in public.

When asked about his return in 2 years, Park Hyo-shin expressed his worries and hope in learning more about himself stating:

"I'm honestly scared about being forgotten by the public while I'm serving. However, I feel that my service will be a special opportunity for me to look back at my life, as I've only run the path of a singer for the past 11 years of my life."

Both are certainly well accomplished in their fields, and both will sadly be missed as they embark on a new journey to serve their nation.
