In the year of 2010, SM Entertainment takes the top place in various music charts with their latest pop songs.

Take for example, SNSD's 'Oh', Super Junior's 'Bonamana', F(x)'s 'NU ABO'. SM Entertainment's BoA has also released a song in the second half of this year. The song has also received good responses, thus people are guessing if BoA will be returning to Korea's music industry.

SM Entertainment revealed that this song was to boost Boa's popularity. After receiving good responses, they have decided to release a new album. In this album, there is a possibility of BoA singing with Super Junior Donghae, Ryeowook, Yesung or others in a song. Some songs will also be composed by Super Junior. This album will be released next year.

[News] SM Files For Temporary Injunction Against Sale Of JYJ's First Album

Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu, the trio from TVXQ who formed a new group JYJ, will have to put a brake on their activities. SM Entertainment (henceforth SM) has filed for a temporary injunction to put a ban on the sale of JYJ's new album 「The Beginning」.

On the 13th, an official from the legal circle clarified, "On SM's part, they have filed for a temporary injunction with the courts to put a ban on the sale of JYJ's worldwide album 「The Beginning」, which is waiting to be launched." The official continued to say, "The reason (for this injunction) is because the issue of the exclusive contract between SM and JYJ and the conflict stemming from it have yet to be resolved. The results from the court decision will have a huge impact on JYJ's activities."

Since the end of July last year, JYJ have been at opposing ends with SM over issues like their exclusive contracts. As a matter of fact, currently, the trio are doing their solo activities and kicked-off their 「JYJ Worldwide Showcase」 on the 12th, at Hwajeong Tiger Dome, Korea University, Anam-dong, Seoul.

SS501 Park JungMin was hospitalized due to his busy schedules such as overseas activities recently.

On 12-Oct afternoon, Park JungMin was admitted to Emergency Room when he fainted due to fatigue that accumulated during that period of time and the release of tension all at once.

Park JungMin was encouraged by the hospital to get sufficient rest and is currently resting at home.

His agency said "After finalizing the exclusive contracts and overseas contracts, he was relieved of tensions all at once and due to the changing of season, he fell sick. Even at the hospital, he would get high fever the moment his condition gets worse, they said he will recover soon after getting adequate rest."

Park JungMin will release an album on 25-Nov and hold a fan meeting on 27-Nov.

[News] JYJ's First Showcase: "We Finally Stood On Stage With Mics In Hand" + Q&A

TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, who formed a male trio JYJ, finally stood in front of their Korean fans for the first time.

At 9PM on the 12th, JYJ held their 「JYJ Worldwide Showcase」 in Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Anam-dong, Seoul, and showed off their bright and confident images.

On that day, it was the first public exhibit of JYJ's first worldwide album 「The Beginning」, which the trio had worked together with famous American producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins. During the LIVE, 4 songs from that album, as well as the OST song 「Chajatta」 from KBS2's drama 「Sungkyunkwan Scandal」, were introduced. This album has attracted a lot of attention because it includes songs by each of the trio, composed from when they were teens. Through their powerful voices and refined choreography, one could catch a glimpse of the sincerity and effort the trio have put into this album.

Next, is a question and answer with JYJ:

-- How do you feel, standing on the stage after such a long time?

JJ: Completely grateful. This is the first time we recorded an album in which the songs are all in English, so it might be unfamiliar, but as the fans are familiar with our voices, I hope they'll listen to it well. As we spent a lot of time preparing for this album, I hope that the fans will enjoy it with all their hearts.

-- This is JYJ's first album. Are there any new feelings?

JS: The album and our music are our means of communication with the fans, so I worried a lot. Through our fans' support, we were able to release the album without any problems, so I'm really happy.

-- The producers involved in this album are very famous people.

YC: I'm really happy to have been able to work with such famous people that I've only heard about when I was living in the United States during my childhood. The recording also has special sentimental value because the recording studio that we used also had connections to Michael Jackson.

-- In June, after the LIVE in Japan's Tokyo Dome, Jaejoong cried as he came down the stage.

JJ: Before we did the performances at the Tokyo Dome, we also had a round of LIVES at Osaka. In Osaka, I started crying from the very first song. All the things that we couldn't express in words were expressed through our expressions. After we sang the last song at the Tokyo Dome, the fans started shouting "Don't cry", and that was when the tears came. It wasn't for the past nor the future; those tears were to express the sadness (I felt) for the present situation.

-- Are there any idols among the Korean idols that have caught your eye?

YC: I've been really busy lately so I haven't really been watching TV. Although I've only heard their song and not seen them on TV, it seems like Miss A surpasses (the rest) in terms of ability.

-- Your resolution henceforth.

YC: We were able to hold mics and stand on stage, as well as meet our fans again. From now on when we release a second album, or when we release albums in future, I hope that people will have the thought of always wanting to listen to our songs. I'm really happy that I've been so busy during this period of time. I would be happy if it's the same in future.

Not long ago when Co.Ed School first stand on stage, and now they will start their "Bbiribbom Bbaeribbom" promotion on the 21st of this month on Mcountdown. The music video is set to released on the 18th while the song itself will be officially released on the 20th.

The song has a cyborg concept with great dance steps. They will have a signature dance called "Vibration dance".

[News] JYJ Showcase In Seoul – “Unable To Express With Words”

Making a comeback as JYJ, TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu had their debut showcase 'JYJ Worldwide Showcase in Seoul' for their new album 'The Beginning' on the night of October 12 at Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium.

With Kim Tae Hyun initiating the interactions between the fans as the MC, the members of JYJ revealed their honest feelings about returning the Korea's music scene.

With regards to the reason for their tears at their Tokyo Dome Live, they replied, "Tears already came out at the start of the performance. When we were unable to express ourselves with words, our expressions were more frank and open, but in the future, we will try our best to smile during sad times."

JYJ reminisced saying, "At that time, the members promised not to cry until the very end, but we couldn't hold it in any longer. It wasn't because of the past, nor the future, but because of the current situation. This is for sure a feeling that cannot be expressed with words."

Through this time's showcase, JYJ revealed for the first time to their Korean fans, their worldwide album, 'The Beginning', which was produced by Kanye West and other top American producers. The live songs they say included 'Ayyy Girl', 'Empty', 'Be My Girl', among others. Especially, with a sales volume of over 100 000 copies, the main OST that received popularity through TV drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal', 'Chajatta' received a massive response from fans at the showcase.

What role did you take up?

My role in the drama is Lee DaHae's lover and I'm appearing as an action star-YunHo. At the initial stage of the drama, it's a setting of a strained relationship. Also, I lost the ring that Lee DaHae gave during one of the action scenes, so I went around to find the similar ring, and in the end we (Lee DaHae and I) meet again.

What do you think of the filming?

There are really a lot of action scenes, feels that there seem to be many intense action scenes. One of them is the scene where I keep running back and forth on the famous Busan Gwangan Bridge, where I had to avoid a missile. There were a few dangerous scenes too, and (I) was slightly injured, but seeing the film for the first time today, and it came out better than expected so I am very happy.

Are you able to immerse into the role immediately?

I have the same feeling as an action actor. The reason is because the YunHo in the drama is an actor, a role who goes through a secret relationship with his lover, who has some similarities with me now. Aren't action actors and I both artistes? Therefore, I put in more of my characteristics and worked hard for the filming.

The musical 'Goong' is in full swing, are you ready?

Almost at the last stage of practices, I am really happy. Because a musical includes acting, singing and dancing, I think it had really played a big part in my growth. The drama series 'Goong' itself is very interesting, having to act as the Crown Prince, I wish to let more people see me in a less-straightforward manner.

At the end of these busy days, if there were a full rest day, what would you want to do?

It would be great to have some spare time and take a rest after finishing a busy peak period. I like to take pictures while travelling, hoping to travel to many famous places to take pictures and to pen down my feelings into a journal.

Korean boy band SHINee, who sang 3 songs during Korea-Indonesia Friendship Festival at the Tennis Indoor Senayan able to 'shake' thousands of fans on Tuesday night.

Only with 3 songs : Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer, and Hello which was delivered energetically by it's five members - Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin made the audience can't stop screaming for their names.

The friendship concert, which took place at 18.30 - 20.30 WIB (WIB = GMT+7) is part of Indonesia - Korea Week which was held on October 10 to 16 with a variety of cultural events.

A group consisted of six Koreans opened the concert brought Korean traditional music "Sinawe" consisting of musical instruments Gayageum, Geomungo, Daegum, percussion, sitar, and keyboard . At the end of their show, They also sang "Bengawan Solo". Followed by dance performances such as 'tari Pendet' and 'tari Saman' and interesting performance by Gita Gutawa duet with Korean singer who is on the rise, Naomi and also attractive performance from The Dance Company band.

Other Korean singers, Son Ho Young and Koo Jun Yup, each of them performed two songs appear similar to SHINee's performance, who is singing while dancing on stage with great energy, but still the appearance of those five young can generate audience screams inside and outside.

"We love Indonesia", said SHINee member, was greeted with shouts by their fans who continue to swing their glow sticks, which is distributed free by the committee.

The audience who attend was not only inside the stadium but also outside because the organizers, Arirang TV and TVRI provide tickets outdoor with big screen facilities.

"The crowd outside was noisy, so SHINee's voice is less audible," Sinta, a visitor who gets a outdoor ticket complained, but she is still happy she can watch her idol's performances.

Fans who attend at the concert was not just teenage girls or women from Indonesia, but also many were South Koreans who are mostly sat in Very Important Person (VIP) area.

Some SHINee fans even still trying to follow them to their hotel after the concert over.

Such a warm welcome by the audience makes it more suitable to be called SHINee mini concert.

SS501's Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSeng seems likely to move under the same roof with top star Lee Hyori.

Recently according to the entertainment personnel, besides Kim HyunJoong, Park JungMin, Kim HyungJun who have already signed with new agencies, it was made known that SS501 members Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSaeng who were still searching for new agency, is nearing to concluding a contract with B2M Entertainment which houses Lee Hyori. With regards to this, B2M representative revealed "Even though the contract is not finalized yet, it is true that we are having positive discussions with the members."

Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSaeng having contract discussion with B2M is because of the relationship with topstar Lee Hyori and the representative of this company. Lee Hyori maintained a close relationship with them as the sunbae (senior) in DSP Entertainment where Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSaeng were doing activities as SS501. [news] Taiwanese idol group, Lollipop, talks about Big Bang

Taiwanese idol group LOLLIPOP has been named by China TV Asia as one of their Top 10 stars for 2010. They recently visited Korea to film their music videos and shoot photos.

In an interview, the group mentioned how South Korea is their dream market and praised H.O.T as a legendary group in the music history of Korea. Member, Jwanghaochwia (or Áo Quǎn?) also added, "I like BIGBANG the most since each of the members has his own particular talent for singing and dancing." He continued, "BIGBANG creates their own songs too. This is also our target. We want to be as professional as BIGBANG. They are the South Korean group who impressed us the most. They sing and also dance, which is our style too."
