[News] Sungkyunkwan Scandal Will Not Continue To A Second Season!

KBS's Sungkyunkwan Scandal has been continuing to record high audience ratings and on the 19th, their audience rating went up to a 14.3% nationwide.

CP Kwak Kiwon has also said that Park Yoochun's acting skills have considerably improved and the CEO of the drama's production company has also said that he has exceeded their expectations.

The drama has received much love from fans and they have been requesting that the drama continue onto a second season.

However, producers have said that they will not be pursuing a second season because of the plot obstacles they will face.

Fans believe that because the drama only covers the first half of the original novel, the drama could easily go onto a season 2 by continuing the plot.

CP Kwak Kiwon has said that "it is possible but there are absolutely no plans to continue to a second season. Main plotlines in the drama are not existent in the novel and if we go into a season 2, there is the problem that the relationship between Lee Seonjun and Kim Yunhee will be cut.

To commemorate the release of world wide album 'The Beginning' which grasped 520,000 pre order sales and gives a shake to music industry in this second half year, JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) will hold their first world wide concert 'JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul', and the three members showed another great sales power by succeeding to sell all 20,000 seats at first pre-sale tickets in only 20 minutes.

Website in charge for the advanced ticket sales for JYJ concert, Interpark confirmed that more than 20,000 seats were sold out for all two days performances on November 27 and 28 at 19:00 within 20 minutes after the sales opened.

Interpark representative, "The previous showcase held in Seoul on the 12th was sold out in only 15 minutes and this time the number of seats were doubled yet it's sold out in only 20 minutes. F.CUZ member Kan, LeeU, Yejun and JinOn [Can&J's Entertainment]
Korean boy band F.CUZ will make a comeback to the local music scene with a new album next month.

An official from the group's agency Can Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone that they boys will release a mini-album in November but futher details will be revealed at a later date.

The official added that the group has been busy working on the upcoming release.

Composed of members Kan, Yejun, JinOn and LeeU, F.CUZ made their debut with their single "JIGGY" early this year.

They have led a busy year so far, visiting various Asian countries such as Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Japan to hold showcases and mini-concerts to promote themselves and their songs.

SNSD's debut Japanese single "genie" debuted in number 5 at the oricon daily singles chart. It seems that Gee is making an even bigger success after "genie". SNSD showed off their slender legs and youthful charms attracting the local fans on their Japanese version of "gee".

On the 15th of October via twitter, Song Baek Kyung member of 1tym said,"Unfortunately, me and my hyung Jinhwan will not be making an appearance on the concert. We were not told anything about the concert so maybe we will be not appearing on the concert."

After this tweet, he tweeted back saying, "Do not be too worried. My hyung's and junior's will show a wonderful concert. I have been in pain anyways, I need a stick to stand up and if i will go on stage".

YG Entertainment announced that they will be having a 2 day concert "2010 YG FAMILY CONCERT" on the 4th and 5th of December at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, it was revealed that big bang, 2ne1, Se7en, Gummy, and Psy will be participating in it.

It has been a long time since YG held a YG family concert but Fans are curious and are complaining why Jinusean and 1Tym are not included in the concert.

Song Baek Kyung may have appeared to not mind about it but fans are angry about the situation. They are wondering why the two Sunbae's in the company are not attending however, no words from YG have been released about the situation.

[NEWS] Rain's innocence to be proved through "all means possible"

Singer and actor Rain's agency J.Tune Entertainment has vowed to take all forms of action necessary to prove that the 28-year-old superstar is being falsely accused of holding gambling debt.

The move comes after a Korean-American named Andrew Kim stepped forward on Monday to say that he has filed a lawsuit in the United States against Rain because he has failed to pay him back 150,000 dollars he borrowed for gambling three years ago.

Kim also said Rain has a "heavy gambling habit" and also met with a immigrations officer to obtain a green card in the U.S. which would exempt him from serving Korea's two-year mandatory military duties.

"Not even one percent [of what Kim has said] is true but we feel extremely wronged because what he is saying is being accepted as the truth and it's ruining the trust Rain has worked to instill in the public for the past ten years," J.Tune CEO Cho Dong-won told Asia Economic Daily's Sports Today during an interview late on Tuesday.

Through their legal representative, J.Tune had issued a prompt response which curtly dismissed all allegations made by Kim, but it has done little to quell the heated debate surrounding one of Asia's hottest celebrities.

"Both Rain and I are angry over the malicious arguments [made by Kim] but also just over this situation we're in where the public is half-doubting us," Cho went onto say.

Then overcome with emotion, a Cho close to tears affirmed that J.Tune "will not stay quiet about this anymore" and "take every legal measure, including filing a counter lawsuit and take all means possible, even if it may have to be an international investigation."

"By no means is Jung Ji-hoon related to any of this. He's a sound person. I will make sure to reveal the truth," Cho said resolutely.

Considered one of the most popular girl group in Korea, SNSD will be releasing their third mini album "Hoot" this 27th of October. It has been 7 months since their last album release in Korea. They released their 2nd album repacked last March and they have debuted in Japan after they will be releasing their 2nd Japanese single this 20th of October promoting in both Korea and Japan at the same time.

SNSD made a surprising announcement of their comeback with their "Hoot" mini album release, now 2ne1 has been fiercely dominating the industry.

2ne1 released their first full album on the 9th of September announcing 3 title songs "cant nobody", "go away" and "clap your hands", So far they have won 4 times in a row in SBS "Inkigayo" and in mnet "M!countdown" also winning 3 times in a row in KBS "Music Bank". they have been leading in the music industry with their new album.

2ne1 will be continuing to promote their 1st full album this November and they are expected to have follow up promotions.

2ne1's agency said, "We will be promoting follow up songs this November however we have not reached a final decision yet on which songs to perform next. We will try our best to give different songs to offer to the fans. We will be continuing 2ne1's promotions this November."

Recently, SNSD is being wrapped in controversy that they were Lip Syncing in their concert in Taiwan.

SNSD's agency SM Entertainment said on the 20th, "SNSD performed a solo concert in Taiwan and they performed over 30 songs, they were performing it live and of course due to the intense choreography on some songs, the other members may not have sung very properly, but they danced and took the stage to entertain the fans in Taiwan and worked hard."

JungShin on the 22nd of October will be a the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center (SETEC)where designers will be holding a fashion show and models will be participating in.

Jung Shin has caught the eyes of the designers because he is 186 cm tall and has a good potential to be a professional model. Jung Shin may lack experience in modeling but designers see the potential in him. The designers are confident that he can pull it off after practicing walking in a runway.

On the 20th, viewership rating agency AGB Nielsen Media Research reported the tally of 19th evening broadcast time drama where 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' recorded a rise on audience rating to 14.3% nationwide.

In compare to the 15th episode that was aired on the 18th, this episode audience rating received a rise of 1.2 points, which is more than 1% rise. While to compare to the 14th episode, this would be a whooping 3.4 points rise from 10.9% rating.

The main reason of this continuing rating increase on 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' seems due to the first launch of Lee Seon Jun (Park Yoochun) and Yeon Hee (Park Min Young) love line that is likely to give an even more interesting development to the story.

In the recent 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' broadcast, Lee Seon Jun who had been away from the Sunkyunkwan for a while would finally reunite with Yeon Hee. In a drowning accident where Yeon Hee was saved by Lee Seon Jun, he was finally found out that she was a woman. Due to that, Lee Seon Jun asked Yeon Hee to leave the Sungkyunkwan University.

The follow up song for 10-member mixed co-ed group, Co.ed, "Bbiribbom Bbaeribbom" has been gaining popularity and slowly a plagiarism controversy has been raised.

On the 19th, Co.ed revealed their songs "Bbiribbom Bbaeribbom" and "Loving You A Thousand Times" along with music videos. 2 hours after the initial release, they quickly rose to the #1 and #2 placements on GOMTV real-time music video charts.

Many Internet users have brought up that the chorus in the song "Bbiribbom Bbaeribbom" is similar to pop singer Lady Gaga's "Telephone." Both of the songs have a progress in the chorus and the pronunciation sounds similar in both of the songs.

On the United States based Korean gossip site, Allkpop, netizens commented "Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' is nearly identical, 'Upon hearing this, Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' comes to mind," were the reactions. Some said, "Even the title is the same to Narsha's 'Bbiribbabba.'"

Co.ed made a public debut last month on the 30th with "Too Late." Also with that song was suspicions of familiarity between Britney Spears' "If U Seek Amy" which was used in the Hyundai Tucson IX CF.

Crafts4Change is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose goal is to support children both locally and internationally by engaging in creative activities. With the stifling competition in today's society, Crafts4Change aims to promote creativity and self-confidence through simple crafts. These crafts are simple in that they are fairly easy to learn but also provide children a unique way to connect with and emotionally aid others that are less fortunate.

Crafts4Change's mission is to promote international diversity and connection through the marketing of SNSD products. SNSD is an internationally renown Korean pop group, allowing Crafts4Change to connect fans and supporters around the world through music. All proceeds will be donated either to an international charity, such as Red Cross or UNICEF, or used to fund crafts-making sessions in lower-income districts.


The first project for Crafts4Change is SNSD T-shirts. However, we will expand to more products, such as sweaters, hats, calendars, pens, key chains, jewelry, in which all will be designed by the staff of Crafts4Change.

[NEWS] Ryeo Wook to be enlisted soon?

On October 17th's broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Gag Concert,' gagman Wang Biho returned to tease more celebrities, focusing this time on the girls of miss A as well as on female solo artist, Beige.
He first began with Beige, joking, "I think you picked your name wrong. When I search your name on portal sites, the results show objects that are beige color."

Wang Biho then told her that she carries around a jinx: "In the past, you filmed your 'Jijiri' MV with Lee Si Young and Jun Jin. The two, who were a couple back then, soon broke up. Now recently, you filmed a MV with Super Junior's Ryeowook. I heard that Ryeowook is going to be enlisted…?"
SM Entertainment played down the fear of fans afterwards by assuring that Wang Biho was just cracking a joke and rumors of Ryeowook joining the army were unfounded.

Remember folks, Wang Biho's teases are just for laughs.
