On October 14, 2010, a new single titled “Love Is” by Mighty Mouse was released.

Mighty Mouse has collaborated with many different people ranging from idol stars to actors in their past songs, and this song is no exception. For this song, Mighty Mouse got Kim Hee-sun, famous actress known for her outstanding beauty and roles in many trendy dramas of the 1990s, to feature on their track.

Kim Hee-sun has previously showcased her singing skills in the 2005 MBC drama “Sad Love Story“, where she sang “Love” by Natalie Cole.

Youn-ha is back with a new single, “One Shot“!

On October 14, 2010, Youn-ha‘s new single, “One Shot” was released online. “One Shot” is a funky pop rock song that combines the powerfulness of rock with the trendy feel of pop. Youn-ha‘s powerful and mature vocals really stand out in this song.

The lyrics of “One Shot” are quite provocative in that it talks about getting the guy she wants in one shot. The song was composed by Hwang Chan-Hwi who also composed Youn-ha‘s hit song, “Secret Number 486“. The lyrics were written by rapper Ju-suk who also featured in the song.

Youn-ha also changed up her whole image and appearance, with this album. Her new album jacket, which was revealed in the beginning of this month, shows the singer with blonde hair and red lipstick, sporting a short sleeveless shirt and shorts. It is very different from the prior image of Youn-ha as an innocent teenage girl. Many fans are excited to see this different Youn-ha perform on stage.

Youn-ha will also hold live concerts in Seoul Kwangjin-gu AX-KOREA on October 30-31. She will also hold concerts in Daegu and Busan, as well.

JYJ’s debut album has become a hit!
The former DBSK members have made it to super stardom yet again! This time around,it’s through album sales!

Below is a detailed statement from their CD distributors,Warner Music Korea, about ”The Beginning“:
"Out of the limited number of 99,999 special albums we produced, we have received over 300,000 pre-orders for their special album, and 220,000 for their regular album. Because of this, it has been taking some time trying to coordinate the demand and supply to various stores. Today will be the first time the album will be on sale for the fans, while the special album will be released later on the 18th.With 520,000 albums sold just through pre-orders, JYJ's 'The Beginning' has so far become the best sold album this year, and many are expecting this to revitalize the depression of album sales,We were able to feel the explosive interest from fans, after receiving three times more album pre-orders for their special album than the original quantity we produced. We will soon be exploring more ways for purchasing their special album, especially for those fans who have not been able to get hold of them."

JYPE just released the first official comeback photo for 2AM! The band was suppose to return last month,however,we guess their busy schedules got in the way (HOMME and married man Jo-kwon). Apparently, the title of their new upcoming project/or single will be titled “Saint O’ Clock”.

Actor Bae Soo-bin will hold his first fanmeeting in a special country

He will greet his international fans on October 17th!

Bae Soo-bin will travel to the country of Japan! The 33-year-old “Brilliant Legacy” actor will meet-and-greet 500 fans as well as 30 Japanese media outlets during his visit. Soo-bin plans to play the guitar,cook,take photos and shake his fans hands.

His agency,BH Entertainment,stated the following about the reason for this particular fanmeeting:

“Bae had been getting more presents and fan letters from Japan so we realized how popular he has become after being asked to hold a fan meeting in the country.”

Supreme team and SHINee rule the Gaon Charts!

SHINee’s “Hello” and Supreme Team’s”Then Then Then” were the right combinations this week!

During the week of October 3rd-8th, Gaon Charts announced that Supreme Team’s single “Then Then Then” had risen from #22 to the top of the charts! This hip hop duo has proved that they are the ones to beat. SME’s dancing princes,SHINee,has also taken the #1 spot with their newly repackage album “Hello“!

“Hello”! “Then Then Then”….Where are your other top K-pop bands?

Do not worry,”Breathe”! MissA’s new single is in second place and “It’s You” by Sung Si-kyung and IU is in the musical bronze position.

In the album department, “Mastermind” from BEAST and “Break Time” from U-Kiss were in the silver(#2) and bronze#3) positions.

Congratulations to all these bands on making it to the top of the Gaon lists!

Photos of several celebrities who are still on duty was revealed on the official blog of The Ministry of National Defense. The photos were taken in a fan meeting during the “Ground Forces Festival 2010″ which was held from October 1st-5th. Lee Dong-gun, Lee Dong-wook, Andy, Lee Wan, Kim Ji-suk and Lee Jin-wook were spotted in the photo. Singer and famous MC Boom was the host of the festival.

Jewelry is coming back!

Jewelry's new member,Park Se-mi, uploaded a few photos on her Cyworld blog which show the girls practicing in the studio.

The former Superstar K contestant wrote on the photos "NU Jewelry will attack soon." In the photos, Park and other Jewelry members,Ha Joo-yeon, Kim Eun-jeong, were practicing dance move with their choreographer. Netizens were surprised to find out that Park had slim down compared to her Superstar K period.

Meanwhile, Jewelry will be accepting an additonal new member and make their comeback during end of October or early of November. Are you looking forward to their comeback?

Park Jung-min has been rushed to the hospital!

SS501/Bonds of Boys’ actor was recently rushed to the ER.

CNR Media has released information that the beloved SS501 singer,Park Jung-min,was rushed to the ER a couple of days ago. He was reported to have suffered from a high fever and exhaustion. They said he will recover soon after the proper rest.

The following is an official statement from CNR Media:

“I think he became weak because he had been tense for a long time about his new contract and contracts overseas which have all been signed now, and with the change of the season”

POPSEOUL wishes Park Jung-min a speedy recovery.
