SEOUL - A SOUTH Korean pop star is top of the 'trending' charts on micro-blogging site Twitter as hundreds of thousands of his fans bombard the site with messages for their hero.

'Kim Heechul Day' was declared by fans on October 10, sending the heartthrob to the top of Twitter's trending topics which led to international curiosity on the site for the not exactly world famous star.

Kim Hee-chul, often credited just as Heechul, is a pop singer, actor, presenter and disc jockey who is best known in South Korea as a member of the 13 member boy band Super Junior. And the celebrity was still leading the way on Twitter on Tuesday as the site's top trending topic, the subject most users are discussing, as excited fans continued to bombard the site with Heechul tweets in several languages.

Twitter user kyuoppar tweeted Tuesday: '10/10/10 Kim Hee Chul Day - We will forever commemorate this day as the day Kim Hee Chul took over social networking.' Some fans want nothing less than world domination for their hero.

SweetSHINeeLove tweeted: 'Just saw that Kim Hee Chul is the top trend NOW,TODAY,And this WEEK.If there was a 'YEAR' category Hee'd be there for sure.' And brwncao added: 'Well.. We all knew Kim Hee Chul was gonna rule the world one day...'

Heechul, 27, is being dubbed South Korea's answer to Justin Bieber, the 16-year-old Canadian pop sensation who often dominates the trending charts on Twitter. But not every tweet was from a fan, as Tweeter Kris-six typed: 'What the hell's a KIM HEE CHUL'? -- AFP

Kim Hee Chul rocks the twitter trending top 10 list. He was rank first and never leave the top 1 slot for 3 days in a row. ELFs surely rocks it!

Another group that is trending right now is #jyjinseoul for Junsu,Yoochun,Jaejoong. Cassiopeias hurry up and make #jyjinseoul reach the top too.

Milky skin KIM, I'm not sure if that one is also for Kim Hee Chul or another kpop artist.

Finally! There has been increased speculation lately that various members of the YG family and YGLife had created twitter accounts. There are tons and tons of fake twitter accounts for 2NE1 and various other YG artists. Well, YGE must have gotten wind of all this and finally cleared up all the confusion.

There is NO official YG Entertainment Twitter. No member of 2NE1 has a twitter account. 
The official 2NE1 twitter account has not yet been created!


There are in fact only FIVE members of the YG Family with twitter, they are:

In the latest episode of Mnet's 2NE1TV, G-Dragon showed TOP and Kush a photo posted online, which shows a set of children toy rings that 'features' TOP as the model.

The photo was taken by a fan and the amusing part of the photo were the printed words. It says 'A magical ring that will give you powers when you clench your fist" added with a photo of proud-looking TOP from his Turn It Up music video, making the three of them burst out in laughter.

[News] Baek Ji-young to perform at showcase in Japan

Korean songstress Baek Ji-young will perform at a showcase in Japan later this month.

A press release from WS Entertainment announced that the singer will take part in the "2010 K-Pop Night in Japan" held at the Tokyo International Forum on October 29.

She will be meeting with her Japanese fans, sing her hit song "Don't Forget About Me" which is the theme song to the hit TV series "IRIS," as well as attend a reception and press conference.

The singer was in the country in May and June, where she participated in the drama "IRIS" concert and sang the theme song and her past hit "Won't Love."

"I am really happy that Korean music has been widely accepted by the public in Japan. I hope that they will not only like dance songs but ballads as well," Baek was quoted as saying.

Other singers to perform at the showcase include girl group 4minute, Sistar and Son Ho-young.

Baek began her singing career in 1999 with her first album "Sorrow" and rose to fame with her dance numbers that featured Latin beats.

She has since released numerous hit songs including "Choice," "Like Being Shot By a Bullet" "My Ear's Candy" and "Time Goes By."

[News] 2AM Seulong turns hair stylist for a day

Korean idol Seulong has revealed a picture of himself styling 2PM member Taecyeon's hair on his Twitter account.

The 23-year-old singer uploaded a photograph of himself yesterday dying Taecyeon's hair, with a comment underneath saying, "I am hair designer Ong. I am currently working on someone's hair."

Fans who have seen the photograph have left responses such as, "You're facial expression is the best!" and "You can do my hair too!"

Seulong made his debut as one of the members in the four-member ballad group 2AM in 2008. They are well known for their many hit songs including "This Song," "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die," and "I Did Wrong."

Outside of his group activities, Seulong has appeared in the MBC's hit series "Personal Taste" and is one of the hosts for reality TV show "We Got Married."

He was recently in Busan for the Pusan International Film Festival for his movie "Acoustic."

Super Junior member Lee Teuk has posted pictures of himself on vacation in Italy on his official Twitter account.

Earlier today, Lee Teuk uploaded a photograph of himself and other Super Junior members Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun and Donghae posing in front of a church in Italy with a comment below saying, "I want to go there!!^^ Going to Venice on the first day~There was certainly a lot of people and many of them recognized us. It is definitely a different feeling from Asia and they make good use of boats..."

Fans who have seen the picture left responses saying, "Oppa! I miss you so much!" and "Happy for you oppa...take care and have fun on your vacation."

Lee Teuk, 27 and the leader of the 13-member band, made his singing debut in 2005 with album "SuperJunior05 (TWINS)."

He has played several small screens roles as well as hosting variety and radio programs outside his group.

BEAST's Doo Joon will have his sitcom acting challeng.

Doo Joon has been casted as a fixed actor along side Jo Kwon and Gain in MBC's new sitcom "Request" (temporary title". Doo Joon due to his masculine, good looks and charming personality has been chosen to be a lead actor along side Jo Kwon and Gain and has been spotted for his acting potentials.

It has been known on the 12th on a phone call by Osen to the officials that they are in the midst of preparations for the drama and they are in good shape. The shooting of the drama will start next week.

Doo Joon has claimed his popularity through BEAST who are currently promoting "breathe" and he was once chosen in the MBC Sitcom " High Kick Through the Roof" but declined the offer due to promotions with BEAST.

The sitcom will be broadcast this November.

BEAST will be telling their behind stories of 'Idol Maid' through their upcoming filmed episode.

The reality program in which a woman star becomes a maid for an idol group, 'Idol Maid' has been airing for the past 3 months with Shin Bongsun & Jung Gaeun as maids for the idol group BEAST.

Due to BEAST members' individual schedules, whether it being an MC for another program or appearing in a drama, not everyone was able to gather altogether but they gathered together on this day in a while as they looked through the album which was filled pictures from the recording days as they had time to reflect over it.

This episode wasn't just to introduce the previous episode but also reveal never before scenes along with the misunderstandings in which they made comments of after the episodes aired.

Lee Kikwang said, "In the last episode of learning English, the teacher asked a question about a girlfriend and ask a joke, I pretended to answer that I didn't know English and managed to say something which there was a report that made it seem as if I did have a girlfriend," which he cleared that that was not the case.

Yoon Doojoon said, "Since it is a reality program, the staff said starting from the 2nd episode, we should record comfortably and since I was doing that exactly, I fell asleep which was shown the whole time," as he hinted to the staff while looking at them, pretending as if he was talking to the members.

This episode of 'Idol Maid' will air on October 13th at Wednesday night at 6PM on MBC every1 channel.

Ukiss comeback is getting a good response.

Ukiss recently released their 4th mini album "Break Time" and their title song "Shut Up!" is doing well on the charts as well. Not only is it doing well on online music charts, it is doing well also in terms of album sales.

"Shut up!" has been gaining a lot of popularity also because of it's unique choreography and stage performance. Ukiss transformed into bad guy and strong muscular idols showing a powerful stage attracting fans. Their warrior dance is becoming popular and it seems that they have made a successful comeback.

f(x) member Sulli has been ranked number 1 with "The girl group member who has the most beautiful eyes".

Recently, a survey was conducted from September 27 to October 11 where over 734 participated, the question was "Which girl group member has the most beautiful eyes?".

Sulli emerged 1st in the survey with 329 votes or 44.8% earning most of the votes. Brown Eyed Girls Gain ranked second with 204 votes or 27.7% and Yoona from SNSD was ranked 3rd with 193 votes or 26.2%.

It seems that one of the reason's why Sulli was ranked 1st was because of her innocent and cute eyes. Sulli's eyes have a warm feeling that suits her youth very well.

Also, in Sulli's appearance at the SBS Drama "Ballad of Seo-dong" she came off with a natural acting skill with attractive eyes. Despite her young age, she was able to completely understand her role and be a natural actress. In addition, when she smiles brightly her fellow sunbae actors and staff will find themselves smiling as well.

Gain has been making the storms these days with her solo debut with "irreversible" and she has been hot topic due to her barefoot dance performances showing her confident, proud and successful solo debut. Gain's eyes are a part of this because her eyes shows off a sexy and confident feel.

Yoona on the other hand has crystal clear eyes. She has starry eyes that is mesmerizing. Sulli, Gain and Yoona each has their own beautiful eyes and strong individual personalities.

The resemblance between Figure Skater Kim Yuna and singer Wheesung are becoming a hot topic.

Recently, photo's of the two are spreading on the internet. It showed photo's of both where they show striking resemblance with each other. Photo's of them with the same expression was put side to side to compare their features and a lot are curious to their resemblance.

Netizens noted that their eyes and nose are similar, it seems that Wheesung looks like Kim Yuna's older brother. It is unexpected for the two to be seen with such interest.

Red Hair has been sported by several idols such as Brown Eyed Girls Gain, FT Island's Hongki,2ne1's Park Bom and Big Bang's G-dragon.

Before, actress Yoon Eun Hye also turned into a red head last year for her drama. It seems that the Red Hair trend has returned this fall as Park Bom from 2ne1 has been showing off a strong appeal with her red hair for their comeback.

Red hair was not only limited to female celebrities as male idols such as G-Dragon and Lee HongKi have also shown a new image with red hair.

It is unexpected that the red hair has become the new trend, perhaps it's because it suits well in the autumn season.
