[DKP Pictures] DKP's SS501 Message Book Project pictures

I'm proudly present you the final product of DKP's first big project ever, our SS501 message book. I'm very sorry if the process is taking too long. This is our first project so we are making everything from scratch. We hope you understand.

Back in July 15th- August 15th 2010, we asked our readers to send us their messages to SS501. During that period of time, we gathered 247 entries/senders from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, USA, Canada, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Australia, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore, Peru, Argentina, London, Germany, Sweden, and many more countries. If you received a reply/email from me saying "Thanks for your entry(s)", that means your messages are included in the book.

I don't have the time to translate everything to Korean, so I just printed all the messages in English. If you send me your messages using your native language with English translations on the side, don't worry, both languages are included.
 
There's only one book in total. I put all messages together due to some of the individual messages are only 5-6 pages, and also to reduce the weight. (shipping cost depends on the weight).

I personally went to ask for the approximate shipping cost and they told me that it will cost us $90 Canadian dollars to send it to Korea. DKP don't have enough money to send it to Korea, so we are asking for a little donation so we can finally send the book.


As promised, we will let you see the book before sending it to Korea. Take a look with the pictures below. Pardon me if it doesn't look nice as I only hand made it.

Mnet on the 14th of October episode of m!countdown experienced it's highest ratings.

According to AGB, m!countdown past ratings were 2.258, with the 14th of October episode of m!countdown, it rose to 3.265, this has been a big leap to their viewer rating since their rating has been the same for a few weeks.

This episode of m!countdown had 2pm's first comeback stage, it also featured BEAST, Miss A, FT Island, Se7en, and others. Also, it was Superstar K's Anniversary and the top 4 contestants held a special performance. These perhaps have captivated the attention of the viewers.

Meanwhile, the winner of the episode was BEAST.

PD of M!countdown said, "The full staff has been preparing for the stages and it seems the hard work payed off. We are preparing for a better music program so please look forward to it".

[News] JYJ States "CJeS Is Nothing More Than An Agency"

SM accused the members of JYJ, Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu, of signing onto an exclusive contract with CJeS Entertainment even though their exclusive contract with SM as not ended yet.

Following this, the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry released an official notice to all broadcasting companies, label companies and online music distribution companies asking them to refrain from aiding JYJ in any way for the same reasons.

JYJ had a partial victory from their exclusive contract suspension injunction against SM Entertainment, but as their contract with the agency has not been ended yet, they would be in an illegal dual contract if they have signed an exclusive contract with CJeS Entertainment.

However, JYJ representatives stated, "JYJ have not signed an exclusive contract with CJeS contrary to what SM and the KFPCAI are insisting," and "CJeS is merely in charge of management that provides a route for domestic activities."

JYJ's spokesperson Prain stated in a phone conversation with reporters on the 15th that, "SM and the KFPCAI are insisting that there is a dual contract involved, which is causing a problem. However, this is not true. It is not that JYJ and CJeS have formally signed a contract, which would mean that JYJ would be working under CJeS, it's that CJeS is merely working as JYJ's agency."

Prain continued to add that, "JYJ have not signed on to work under a new entertainment agency, they're just leaving management-related work to CJeS to handle. It's just like how we are in charge of handling all of their publicity-related work and how Warner Music Korea is in charge of all of their album-related work."

Prain revealed that, "A misunderstanding may have occurred because the concept of an 'agency' is still unfamiliar to most people in Korea. When the overseas showcase events are done, we will officially respond to SM and the KFPCAI's claims with sufficient evidence and documents."

Regarding the scope of JYJ's independent activities, which SM is claiming as the issue, Prain stated, "This is something that has already gone through sufficient legal review," and "By law, there is nothing that would cause a problem for JYJ."

Prain implied that SM's stance lacks legal and logical validity when it was stated that, "We have confirmed that by law, SM Entertainment has no real reason to file an album sales prohibition injunction against JYJ's activities."

T/N: In Korean, the distinction is made as 에이전시 (agency, CJeS) and 소속사 (affiliated company, SM).
The concept of an 'agency' is still quite rare in the Korean entertainment industry as most celebrities work under an entertainment agency/company such as SM, YG, JYP etc, that is in charge of everything, instead of hiring an agency to work for them for a particular field.

Before, They performed a duet at the 2010 Incheon Hallyu Dream Concert which became a hot topic. To celebrate their 200th day of being a couple, the couple will be singing the duet on the show.

Moreover, To make their 200th day celebration to be more meaningful, they were given a mission for the both of them to stand on stage and sing their duet song. Seohyun and Yonghwa was quite annoyed with the sudden mission, but they ended up doing it to celebrate.

On the 16th of October broadcast of f(x) MBC "Koala", f(x) was in the states and they were eating chips when a 20 year old guy approached Victoria leaving her flushed and embarrassed.

Also they received a mission and the mission and ended up going to USC University to ask for help. As usual, Victoria with her cute and lively personality she went ahead in the mission, she was successful and a 20 year old student agreed to help her, but after a while, the guy suddenly disappeared embarrassing Victoria.

Sulli took out the mission and shouted "Help me" in the middle of the campus with tears on her eyes. Luna transformed into a runner for the mission.

[NEWS] 101015 2AM reveals teaser photo from new album today

Korean boy band 2AM, who will be making a music comeback this month, released a teaser image from their upcoming album today.

The picture was posted on Big Hit Entertainment's official website (http://www.bighit.com) and the group's Big Hit webpage (http://2am.ibighit.com) yesterday at midnight which also revealed the name of their first full-length album "Saint o'clock."

The photograph showed the four-members on steps holding umbrellas with the sunset in the background. The picture will be used as their album's cover for the limited edition of their upcoming release.

Trained and discovered by major talenthouse JYP Entertainment, 2AM released their debut single "This Song" in July 2008. They have several hit ballads under their belt including "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die," "Time for Confession" and "I Did Wrong."

The group will begin promoting their upcoming album after its simultaneous release online and offline on October 26.

[News] JYJ Albums In The Market To Be Recalled If Injunction Is Accepted.. D-Day Is The 18th

Which side will the Seoul District Courts favor?
Sports Korea has verified the reason, content and future of SM's injunction.

It was on the 8th that SM filed an album sales prohibition injunction against JYJ's first album. At the current moment, it cannot be known whether or not the Seoul District Courts will accept the injunction and consider it valid.

The issue at hand between SM and JYJ seems to be the scope of the independent activities JYJ won in their legal dispute with their agency. It can be predicted that both sides will engage in a fierce legal battle regarding this matter.

At the hearing on the 11th, Warner Music Korea, the distribution company in charge of JYJ's first album , stated, "We see the selling of this album as an act that is allowed according to the previous verdict made on the injunction filed by JYJ against SM that gave JYJ the freedom to pursue independent activities." It was told that the Courts seemed to agree with this statement.

It is difficult to predict the Courts' verdict at this current moment. However, it looks like the Courts' views formed from the hearing may determine the future of the injunction. JYJ's album was released in the market on the 14th. If the Courts' accept SM Entertainment's injunction as valid, all of the albums in the market will be recalled.

Both sides will be submitting additional documents till the 18th. The verdict is expected to be made later this month.

[News] SM Even Sends Certification Of Contents To Warner Music Headquarters In USA

SM Entertainment filed an exclusive contract suspension and album sales prohibition injunction to the Seoul District Courts on the 8th. Though JYJ was granted independent activities in their injunction filed against SM Entertainment last year, SM believes that the contract they have signed with CJeS is an unlawful dual contract as the Courts have not suspended the exclusive contract between SM and JYJ.

SM's pressure is even occurring overseas. It has been confirmed that SM has sent a certification of contents to the US headquarters of Warner Music Korea, the company in charge of distributing JYJ's album. It can be seen that SM did this due to the fact that this album was one that was released simultaneously in various parts of the world.

However, the distributor of this album is Warner Music Korea. Warner Music Korea is offended that SM has sent the certification of contents, which calls for the recipient to take responsibility for the matter, to the US headquarters and not to themselves.

The Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry has sided with SM. The KFPCAI has sent an official notice asking broadcasting companies and online music distribution companies to refrain from allowing JYJ to appear on their shows and from distributing their music. Their reason was that JYJ was causing a negative affect on the 'Hallyu Wave'. However, many representatives of the industry believe they are doing this because JYJ has become a 'thorn' in SM's side as they have created conflict with the entertainment agency. JYJ could not be seen on TV after 12th and their ranks on online music sites have stayed in the 10s since their music was released on the 14th.

JYJ is suffering from problems from their own country. These events were more shocking as they happened right after their showcase on the 12th. The wound was bigger as they suffered from 500 ticket orders for their showcase suddenly and simultaneously being canceled right before the show.

The reason JYJ decided to fight SM in a legal battle was to participate in free music-related activities. However, with it becoming harder and harder to perform, the foundation of the group is beginning to shake. With domestic stages shut off from them, JYJ are planning to greet their fans through overseas showcase events.

An entertainment industry representative stated, "A leading entertainment agency and talented singers are locked in an emotional battle. This is game with no winners. All it will do is create scars on both sides. There is a need to approach this issue from a broader perspective."

SNSD has sold over 100,000 copies of their first Japanese single "Genie".

According to Japan Record Associations on the 15th, it was announced on their website that SNSD's debut single "Genie" has been awarded gold already for selling over 100,000 copies.

This is SNSD's debut single showing their huge popularity in Japan. SNSD has reached the highest singles sales among the Korean girl groups that has entered the Japanese market. KARA's debut single "Mr" has hit 70,005 sales (according to Oricon).

Meanwhile, SNSD will be releasing their second Japanese single "Gee" on the 20th of October and there are much anticipation of their second single will be as successful as their first single.

According to Nikkan Sports Japan on the 15th a survey was conducted among young Japanese girls with an average age of 17.2, about 2,000 participated in this survey and they were ask which "Korean aspring artists" do they prefer more.

In the survey, KARA ranked 1st, SNSD ranked 2nd and DBSK ranked 3rd.

According to Nikkan Sports, "KARA was the top choice because of their famous 'Butt dance' which was cute and also because majority of them would sing KARA's song in the karaoke.".

The survey was conducted among 10 year old Japanese girls above, with the kpop frenzy that is taking Japan by storm, most of the kpop fans in Japan are girls these age showing an accuracy in the survey.

KARA released their korean Best album in Japan on the 29th of September and they sold over thousands of albums ranking them 2nd in the Oricon weekly charts. They have successfully debuted in Japan.

[News] JYJ-Yunho-Changmin, The 5 Members Of ‘TVXQ’ Are All Winners

Many are interested to see what lays ahead for the five members of TVXQ, a group that debuted in 2004 under SM Entertainment as the '2nd HOT' but is now facing disbandment.

Micky Yoochun, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Xiah Junsu, amidst their unlawful contract controversy with SM Entertainment, have created a new group JYJ and had their comeback through a showcase on the 12th.

Micky Yoochun is currently playing the lead role in the popular KBS 2TV drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' and has had a successful debut as an actor with viewers praising him on his stable acting skills.

Not only this, but the OST of 'SungKyunKwan Scandal', which Micky Yoochun, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Xiah Junsu participated in, sold close to 110,000 copies in less than two weeks, showing Micky Yoochun's success as both a singer and actor.

Xiah Junsu is also busy pursuing independent activities. He made a successful transition from an idol star to a musical star through his role in the musical 'Mozart!', where he showcased his amazing voice and stable acting skills.

YoungWoong Jaejoong stepped up once more as an actor and appeared in the Japanese drama 'Sunao Ni Narenakute'. After receiving the label of 'movie actor' from starring in 'Postman to Heaven' alongside Han Hyo Joo, he completed his drama in Japan with success.

They have also proven their still raging popularity by surpassing 520,000 copies of their first worldwide album 'The Beginning' in pre-orders.

On the other hand, Choikang Changmin, who has decided to stay in SM, took on the lead role for SBS drama 'Paradise Ranch', which will begin airing next January.

U-Know Yunho has also been consistently involved in activities. He appeared in the MBC drama 'Heading to the Ground' with label-mate Go Ara last year for his acting debut. He has also become a musical star with his appearance in the musical 'Goong'.

Fans are proud of the members for fulfilling the expectations of and love from the fans and for doing their best as individuals, regardless of whether they have left or stayed in SM Entertainment. [News] JYJ Side States, "The Label Company Will Respond To SM's Legal Actions"

Regarding SM Entertainment's album sales prohibition injunction filed against JYJ's new album, JYJ's side has stated, "We are not planning any particular response to it as of now."

JYJ's representative, in a phone call with SSTV on the 14th, stated, "We have no intention of responding to the injunction right now, and this is a problem the label company will respond to," and "We will keep a close watch on how the label company and SM Entertainment will resolve this issue."

SM revealed on the 13th that they filed an exclusive contract suspension and album sales prohibition injunction to the Seoul District Courts on the 8th against JYJ, CJeS and JYJ's worldwide album 'The Beginning'.

SM's reason is that, "By releasing their albums through CJeS Entertainment even though the verdict has not been made on their lawsuit, there is a high possibility that this may lead into an unexpected third party legal dispute." The exclusive contract lawsuit between the members of JYJ and SM Entertainment is still yet to be resolved.

The Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry (KFPCAI) has also stepped up to support SM's stance. Through an official notice to all broadcasting companies, label companies and online music distribution companies, the KFPCAI called for such companies to refrain from allowing JYJ to appear on their shows and even from cooperating with JYJ with their activities.

Regarding this, JYJ's representative was careful with his words and did not say much as he stated, "We are not releasing an official response to the injunction or the KFPCAI's actions for now but we will keep a close watch on everything."

2ne1, Big Bang, Se7en, Gummy and the rest of the YG artist are going to gather for 1 event called the 2010 YG Family Concert.

YG entertainment announced, "This coming December 4 and 5 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, we will be hosting the 2010 YG FAMILY CONCERT".

YG Family has been holding it's concerts first in 2003 until 2007, however much to the regret of the fans, there was no YG Family concert last 2008 and 2009.

YG will be holding a concert for all their artists to participate as well as those who have been on hiatus. 2ne1, Se7en, Gummy, Big Bang even if they are busy with their Japanese activities and many more. A brilliant stage will be featured to show the Families close tie and passion.

Also, this concert will be welcoming their new family member Psy who entered the company this year. The concert is in progress of preparations and the artists are preparing as well.

2ne1 wanted to have a concert this year and this will be their first concert with YG Family. They could not hide their excitement. Big Bang too haven't been on Korean stage for a while and through this concert they will be able to re unite with fans who have been waiting for them for a long time.

December 4 and 5, a 2 day concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium starting at 8pm KST with over 36,000 seats. Tickets are now available for reservation at GMarket.

Nicole said before that she has a wide forehead and now that she has bangs she is more satisfied and said that she feels prettier with bangs.
