But turns out Jay Park and Brown Eyed Girls members Narsha and Jea were victims of false advertising for a phone play ad. This ad is a classic example of using innocent stars that have been taken advantage of against their will, so don’t always believe what you see! Hopefully no one believed Jay, Narsha and Jea actually agreed to model for phone play…              |

| What’s your say in Plastic Surgery? Posted: 06 Oct 2010 10:42 AM PDT There is a special section in SBS 'Strong Heart' called 'Teuk Ki Ka Yo' where they reveal the past photo of the stars. While some celebrities are proud of their past looks but most of them would rather destroy photos containing their images of their past almost as immediately as they it is revealed. The question is, why so? Is the main reason the fact that they are embarrassed to show their fans how they looked like before undergoing the knife? With the sake of beauty so high at stake in this entertainment industry, it is only common for celebrities to undergo some form of technological modification before they make an official debut. Also, they may be somewhat shy or reticent of their past looks because it may be deemed ‘unattractive’ or ‘out-fashioned’. However, we must admit that most of our idols are still sensitive towards this topic. For instance, Han Son Hwa, from Secret, confessed to her plastic surgery act, but was affected when she saw her past photos on the Internet. As a result, she used her friend's ID to upload photos which she felt was more 'acceptable' only for reasons to cover up the 'unacceptable' photos. Another case involved Kim Song Eun, a Korean actress, who revealed her entire plastic surgery process through a cable broadcasting programme. She used to have issues about her face, complaining it was ‘unbalanced’ and wanted to reconstruct it. The peculiar thing was that most of her fans found it more acceptable when she was honest about this, also taking into consideration that Koreans are more acceptable to such medical specialty. A plastic surgeon once mentioned, “Singers, actors, comedians and MCs, they have the common point where their faces are widely recognized by public. This is why they are so desperate to own a perfect outlook and it’s easier for them to feel complex about their face. But rushing into plastic surgery makes no good at all. They should also have sufficient consultation like normal people before they receive any surgery." In a nutshell, what we are trying to say is that although stars are brave enough to admit that they have had some experience under the knife, they still feel insecure about having to show their past photos to their beloved fans. Will you do the same if you are in their shoes?           |
| Sungkyunkwan Scandal Celebrates Yoo Ah-in’s Birth Posted: 06 Oct 2010 08:58 AM PDT It’s someone’s birthday! Quickly growing in popularity, KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” had a sudden birthday surprise for Yoo Ah-in during filming. Playing the rebellious but gorgeous “Wild Horse” Moon Jae-shin, the maturing actor celebrated his 25th birthday on Wednesday night, October 6th. His fellow co-stars, Song Joong-ki (in picture, left), Dong Bang Shin Ki‘s Micky Yoochun, Park Min-young, and Seo Hyo-rim, and the filming staff prepared a short but sweet celebration, complete with a cake! Yoo Ah-in expressed his gratitude to the tired staff and was truly thankful to be able to celebrate his birthday, regardless of his busy, tiring schedule. The birthday hat with the Joseon dynasty headgear is quite an interesting style statement for Song Joong-ki. For those who don’t know, “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” is a drama set during the Joseon dynasty about a young woman, who, hiding her gender, attends the all-male Sungkyunkwan University. Based on the two-part novel series, “The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars,” the drama is often connected to the Japanese drama “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e.” Happy Birthday, Yoo Ah-in!           |

After the wave of “see-through” looks last season, nude tones are quite popular this season. Beige colored dresses have especially dominated the red carpet as it shows off both elegance and sex appeal. Son Ye-jin recently wore a nude tone dress by CELEN B BY 1423 NAVIEWATER to the VIP movie premiere of “Cyrano Dating Agency”. Yoo In-young was spotted wearing the same dress past August to the “Mnet 20′s Choice Awards”. Son Ye-jin went for a natural look with the dress, pairing it up with light makeup and wavy hair. She did carry a unique handbag of oriental patterns and bright colors. Yoo In-young, on the other hand, went for a more sophisticated and sexy look. In the pictures, Eun-hyuk looks like he is having the time of his life. Lee-teuk, Ryeo-wook, and Kyu-hyun accompanied him on the trip. Hee-chul is also enjoying a brief vacation from his position as a DJ for SBS Power FM “Kim Hee-chul’s Young Street”. Seems like most of the members of Super Junior are taking a temporary break. Super Junior has recently finished their official promotions for their 4th album “Bonamana”, the Asia Tour “Super Show”, and the SM Town World Tour. It’s good to know that these SM artists are getting a break, because they really do need it.           |

The singer/actor(and father-to-be) is marrying a lady who majored in dance in college and they dated for a year after being introduced to one another by a friend. Si-won announced the news on his 38th birthday and apologized to his fans for not disclosing the news earlier. His fiancée is not a celebrity and that was the main reason he did not share the information with everyone prior to his birthday. Posted: 06 Oct 2010 05:44 AM PDT The Super Junior member was quoted on a recent episode of SBS’s variety show “Steel Heart“. “He said that he really wants to be at my wedding and that he hopes it’s on a day that doesn’t conflict with his schedule” A host from the show asked him to explain (to everyone) if his wedding date was very soon. What was his response? “Coming soon.” We are not sure what to make of his statement.One thing is for certain though,that to Shin-dong there will be “No Other” because he has declared her as “My Only Girl“!           |

Below is what Ji-yeon’s agency,Core Contents Media, stated about the matter: The female in the video is not Ji-yeon.Our company has watched and analyzed the video, and even asked Ji-yeon whether it was her or not. We came to the conclusion that it is just a female that happens to look like Ji-yeon.We will be further discussing the video through a meeting and consider legal action” The following is what her parents disclosed to her company: "Ji-yeon is only a high school student, but she has already been gravely scarred and crying heavily because of this issue. They are wishing for legal actions to be taken against the reporters and media who are criticizing Ji-yeon because of pictures that have not even been confirmed, and they wish for this to not happen again."
