SNSD made a comeback on 29th october on KBS2 'Music Bank' for 3rd mini album with the title song "Hoot".
SNSD uses the 60s-girl-style and it feels like movie poster for the new concept. This has been caught attention from public. According to the new concept, the "Retro Power-Girl" and Spy-look-a-like give them even more popularity as Asian best girlgroup. Netizen stated that SNSD looks more mature with brown and blonde hairstyle plus sexy legs and skinny waist . | [News] FT Island tops Taiwanese music charts with latest album Posted: 29 Oct 2010 04:19 AM PDT  Korean rock band FT Island has topped several music charts in Taiwan with their latest release. A press release from FNC Music announced Thursday that the boys' second mini-album "beautiful journey" held onto the No. 1 spot on popular Taiwan music charts G-Music and Five Music for two consecutive weeks starting October 15. Their title track "Love, love, love" also ranked in first as well during the same week on Taiwan's ENOME, Taiwan Mobile and Fareast Tone Mobile music charts. FT Island, who made their debut in June 2007, has also managed a successful singing career in Asia, releasing two major single albums "Flower Rock" and "Brand-new days." The five-member band returned to the local music scene in mid-August, topping various online and offline music charts with "Love, love, love" from "beautiful journey." They are scheduled to hold their live concert, focusing on the latest release, for two nights at the AX-Korea in Seoul on November 6 and 7. | [News] SNSD sweeps mobile charts in Japan with "Gee" Posted: 29 Oct 2010 04:17 AM PDT  Korean female pop stars Girls' Generation has continued to create a big splash in Japan, sweeping mobile music charts with their second Japanese single. According to Japan's Recochuku's weekly mobile music chart on October 28, "Gee," which was released in the country last week, took first place, while becoming the most downloaded track on the Video Clip chart and several other charts including music.jp, Hudson, JOYSOUND and mora. They have led a successful singing career in Japan since August this year, attracting over 20,000 fans to their first showcase in the country and becoming the first Korean girl group to rank No. 1 on the prestigious Oricon chart with "Gee" as well as placing in the top 5 slots on its weekly DVD chart with their DVD "'少女時代到 ～日記念盤～New Beginning of Girls' Generation." The nine-member girl group will make their comeback today on KBS' televised music show "Music Bank" with their title track "Hoot" from their third mini-album of the same name which received over 150,000 pre-orders. Their latest song has also topped various online daily music charts since its release on Monday. | [NEWS] BEAST debuting in Japan through an ultimate showcase with 10,000 people Posted: 29 Oct 2010 03:53 AM PDT   [Newsen Lee Uhnhyuk Reporter] BEAST will be officially debuting in Japan. Their management Cube Entertainment stated, "BEAST will be having a showcase with 10,000 people on the 27th of November in the big site located in Tokyo." For a new group to be hosting a big showcase like this with 10,000 people, it will be a new experience. It has been planned that BEAST will be showing off a special performance where they travel from the Hanaeda Airport to the site of the showcase in a helicopter. The helicopter travel method has been mainly used by the top pop stars, such as Micheal Jackson. In return, the 10,000 people who had gathered to see BEAST will be greeting BEAST's debut in Japan with a "group body message" so that BEAST can see from the helicopter. In addition, before the showcase, BEAST will be releasing the premium album and DVD set in Japan titled, 'BEAST Japan Premium Edition'. Also, after the showcase, BEAST will be releasing an album in Japan early next year with the well known record label, Universal Music Japan. Many topics are arising along with the news of BEAST's debut. On the 28th, the famous Japan newspaper told the news about BEAST debuting in Japan under the headlines, "The Beast of K-POP, BEAST strikes Japan on November 27th." On the newspaper it stated, "It will be the first time a group that haven't debuted before having such a great stage," and added, "After Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang, another big Korean group is coming. | [NEWS] 4Minute was humiliated on Japan's TV Show Posted: 29 Oct 2010 03:25 AM PDT  It had been announced that 4Minute had an appearance from a Japanese TV Show entitled: NTV PON this week. Unfortunately, because a lot of us, international fans, weren't able to watch the real situation from the show, we weren't able to see how the girls seemed to be humiliated and ignored on the said show. In order to make a name on the Japanese market and promote their 3rd Japanese single: "FIRST/DREAMS COME TRUE," they appeared as guest performers at NTV PON. However, the rude treatment of the hosts of the show towards the girls were reported and was widely talked about on different internet sites. It was reported that the girls only had more or less, 10 minutes of airtime during the whole show. Besides that, the girls can only be found at the background of the show and the hosts were merely ignoring them. It appeared like the purpose of actually promoting their single has not been shown. The cooking show scene proceeded with very less emphasis on the girls who were simply looking at the side of the hosts.  With this, Korean Netizens immediately showed their disappointment and reactions towards the humiliation that the show displayed towards the girls and expressed comfort for the girls. Some of them said: "Just come back here in Korea and we'll give you more love here." "Is this the proper treatment that idols with more than 2000 fans should receive?" "They cut off the music in the middle of the dance to cook." "Do they even have any common sense on what they have done?" Reading through this may hurt a lot of us - 4Nias, knowing that despite of the girls' continuous hard work, they are not receiving the respect, attention and proper treatment that they deserve. Perhaps, what we could do now is to continue supporting them and hoping that their agency as well as the other labels that manages them could make a more "well-thought-out" plan for their overseas promotional activities. SHINee performed on Music Bank on 29th with 'Hello'. Jong Hyun said on the 27th, "I've been dating Shin Se Kyung for a month" and admitted it. Could the audience be feeling regretful about that? Currently, there is a lot of heated discussion regarding the possibility of filming the sequel to [SungKyunKwan Scandal]. A staff in charge of promotions for the TV series revealed, "Although it has not been decided, but there are many ongoing discussion with regards to the filming of the sequel to [SungKyunKwan Scandal]." This is good news to all those who were disappointed when there were rumours that there will not be a sequel. [SungKyunKwan Scandal] is adapted from the novel "The Lives of SungKyunKwan Confucian Scholars", which is followed up with a second book*. As [SungKyunKwan Scandal] only shows the first half of the story, the views are also left with a lot of anticipation for a sequel. Also, the two leads are extremely popular, which results in an increasing demand for there to be a sequel. In reality, it has not been decided if a sequel will be filmed, but the fans are already ecstatic at the words "many ongoing discussion with regards to the filming of the sequel".
