Eric on for Poseidon, Kim Ok-bin still in consideration Posted: 30 Oct 2010 05:34 AM PDT Looks like the news is finally confirmed: Eric is on for action drama Poseidon, which is set in the world of the maritime police and has already cast Kim Kang-woo as a lead. This news has been floating around for a few weeks, but only as unconfirmed rumor, as with a few other names like idol star U-Know Yunho. (Yunho’s casting is still undecided.) But Eric, the Shinhwa rapper turned actor who just completed his military obligation, told the press as he was discharged on October 30 (pictured above) that he will be acting in Poseidon. He has been serving out his mandatory army duty since October of 2008, and had been fielding offers for a comeback project in the months leading up to his discharge. © javabeans for Dramabeans, 2010. | Permalink | 3 comments | Add to del.icio.us |

Lee Seon-kyun announces his next project Posted: 29 Oct 2010 02:02 PM PDT Looks like the Voice is trying to break a new record for most projects in a year. Not that I’m complaining! But doesn’t the guy ever take a vacation? Lee Seon-kyun has announced his next project, a movie co-starring Park Joong-hoon (Haeundae), due out next spring. This time he’ll be playing a detective, in a comedy called King of Arrests. Park will play his rival, also a cop. They race against each other to catch a serial rapist, called the Trenchcoat Man, and try to outdo each other to become the precinct’s King of Arrests. Younha takes on movie role opposite Ryu Seung-beom Posted: 29 Oct 2010 09:17 AM PDT Add singer Younha to the ranks of pop idols venturing into acting, as she’s just been cast in a new movie. It’s not a debut for her; she acted in a short film in 2005 (天使が降りた日: Episode 5 Diaries), which she followed with Next Sunday, both Japanese projects. (Somewhat unusually, Younha debuted in Japan as a singer before debuting in Korea, and is fluent in the language.) This will be her first acting role in a Korean project.
